Clean, crisp interiors seamlessly flow into gracious outdoor living.
The outdoor spaces are an entertainers delight, boasting functional seating, and alfresco dining for those backyard BBQ's. This special hideaway’s recreational area offers room for croquet, badminton or volleyball, and bocce ball, within a half acre of land. Golfers and non golfers delight in a newly installed 4 hole putting green! Outdoor living at its best!

Located off the foyer are comfortable and chic open living and dining rooms. In the living room the fireplace is a focal point for comfortable gatherings. There is a black lacquer baby grand piano in the living space for those musically gifted guests. A cozy media room with flat screen TV has a sofa sectional for your screening comfort. The bath hybrids vintage with modern for an edgy mix that's eco efficient. The ample second guest bedroom has lots of natural light and desk for those that can work remotely. Zentierra review

Property was exactly as described.Nicely decorated with a variety of art work and sculptures. Location was perfect just a few minutes from Palm Desert. Neighborhood pool was 3 minute walk and was very peaceful and well kept.Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Zentierra is a fabulous place!!We spent a month here and it was much too short. The accommodation totally exceeded our expectations both in location and in comfort. The yard was spacious, private, and quiet, while the house was tastefully decorated - lacking nothing.Our host was incredibly accommodating and an absolute pleasure to deal with.Thankyou Zentierra!! We hope to return.

Wonderful stay & lovely property.

Very well maintained grounds in a quiet neighborhood. Location was super convenient to all the desert has to offer. The home is beautifully decorated through out with tasteful personality versus the normal neutral rental. Tamara was a very thoughtful host with regular communication. I highly recommend this property and would look forward to staying here again.

We had a wonderful time.

Well equipped and very comfortable and very clean home. We had fun watching movies at night, lots of good seating. Convenient to everything. I would stay here again!

Beautiful mini getaway

We had a weekend getaway for Stagecoach. This house was gorgeous in person! The living room was aesthetically beautiful; it has these prism window blinds which create amazing instagram rainbow-filtered worthy photographs! Tamara was the sweetest, she came and welcomed us with some cherry limeade, perfect for in the 105 degree heat! We utilized the spacious community pool, very clean! The backyard was great to just lounge around with plenty of seats & hammocks. Would definitely stay at Tamara’s ZenTierra again!

Excellent Location Beautiful Home

This is one of the most beautifully decorated homes that i have ever been in. There is a lot of space and the furniture is modern and comfortable. It is walking distance to the River outdoor mall, which has tons of food options. The area is very quiet, so whether you are looking to relax or have some fun.. it’s pefect!

Location, Comfort, Great Hosts

We spent almost two months at Zen Tierra this winter and absolutely loved it. Located in a small neighborhood off Bob Hope Drive in Rancho Mirage, it is in the middle of everything—an easy drive (or pleasant walk) to The River shopping center, a few minutes by car from hiking on the Bump & Grind trail and the restaurants and shops of El Paseo in Palm Desert, and all the attractions of the Palm Springs area. The house is comfortable and beautifully-furnished (Tamara is a pro), the kitchen big and bright, and the rear patio a birdsong-filled and palm-shaded sanctuary. One of the best things about our stay at ZT was meeting Kirk and Tamara, who are delightful people and caring and conscientious landlords. They made the whole rental experience easy and straightforward. If every vacation rental could be this delightful, we'd never go back home!

Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

This house is amazing. It has everything you could ever want for a vacation home. I stayed here with 6 people total (three couples) and everyone had more than enough room. The interior is beautifully decorated, although if you're like us you'll spend most of your time outside in the wonderful back yard. As others have said on here, the pictures on the site don't do it justice! The back yard has tons of comfy furniture, and plenty of shade. There's even a horseshoe pit! The shared pool is as short walk away and has two ducks lovely ducks that we made friends with (Bert and Marge). I could go on and on, but the short story is you won't be disappointed if you stay here so just book it already! Thank you so much to the owners, I hope we can stay here again some day!

A Five Star Plus Experience

We recently stayed a week at "Zen Tierra" and it's one of, if not the nicest places we've stayed at. The house is very tastefully designed and comfortable, a great kitchen and an outdoor grill that we used every night. For many years we've stayed in Palm Springs, this year we experimented in Rancho Mirage and this house was a perfect location for us. You can hike up the famous "bump and grind" mountain, visit the famous El Paseo Shopping area and get to the Palm Desert Aquatic Center (50 meter pool) all within five minutes of the house. Last but not least, the owners Kirk and Tamara are ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE hosts, checking in on us to see that all was ok and when I forgot something at the house, they made sure I got it back. Very professional, reliable owners and simply a great place to stay - we are a family of four and would recommend this property without hesitation.

Best deal on the whole site for the desert cities

I'm a fellow new homeowner in Rancho Mirage and had been looking forward to my mother, aunts, and a cousin coming out to visit at the end of October. I arrived on Monday ahead of the group coming in on Thursday. Unfortunately, I was met by a couple inches of standing water throughout my home due to a bathroom pipe dislocation. By the time I got my sights back on track for arriving company it was Wednesday night and with 6 industrial sized dehumidifiers running in my home, I was looking at hotel sites and VRBO for the next day's accommodations. I queried three properties, never dreaming I'd get a response from any of them and figured I'd have to pay walk up rates at a hotel for my arriving guests. Imagine my surprise to get Kirk's phone call at 10:00 the next morning as I arrived at the Palm Springs airport -- not only were we welcome to stay at Zen Tierra, he'd allow us immediate entry and a promise to come over later that afternoon to ensure that everything was absolutely perfect for us! I can't say enough for the property and the owner attention to detail. It's fabulous. Period. Others have stated the pictures don't do it justice. I just reviewed the pics again and without a doubt, I have to agree -- Tamara and Kirk -- you have to get professional pictures -- your place is AHHMAZING!! I won't spoil it for arriving guests but there are too many ooh's and ahh's to count in every unexpected place of this property. It's incredibly well-appointed -- I don't know what more a person could need or want on their vacation. The beds and bed coverings are most comfortable, the couches are plop-worthy, the kitchen is way more than you'd ever need even if you were hosting Thanksgiving dinner, the decorating is luxurious and relaxing . . . the fireplace . . . the media room - Netflix, premium channels . . . . This house IS the vacation destination! The business part of it was completely non-fuss and based on mutual respect and trust -- thank you, Kirk and Tamara -- people like you make VRBO work for the masses. Your home is as comfortable and inviting as it is beautiful and you're so generous to rent it at such a fair price. You could ask much more and thus, rent it less and afford yourselves less risk -- I know -- but you're smarter and kinder than that and I hope you know that WE realize that. Thank you for treating my family so well. We truly enjoyed our stay and wish you all the business that you can want and much health and happiness as well. <3 MKE

Chicago Folks!

Everything was as listed and even better.Art -Deco, Mid Century; very eclectic with some "neat" touches! Clean, well maintained. Outdoor patio are was fantastic. We ate all our meals outside. Comfortable seating and very quiet! Nice neighborhood and very close to everything; dining, shopping, golfing etc. Owners were very helpful and easy to work with. Great Vacation!

BEAUTIFUL home in quaint neighborhood!

Our party of 5 rented this beautifully decorated home for the first weekend of Coachella. It was a quick drive (3mi) from the nearest Coachella shuttle stop at the JW Marriott. The neighborhood was complete with a pool and close proximity to anything you would need - groceries, dining, etc. The owners were incredibly easy to deal with, friendly, and very responsive during our stay when we had questions. If I could I would rent exclusively from Tamara and Kirk for all my travels!

Perfect Coachella Retreat

Our group of 5 stayed at Zen Tierra for our recent trip to Coachella. We couldn't believe how wonderfully appointed the house was upon our arrival. The pictures don't do the space justice! A wonderful retreat to spend relaxing mornings in the sun by the community pool before heading to the grounds for the festival. Having rented several properties through VRBO and other vacation rental sites before, I can say that I have never had such a wonderful experience dealing with the owners of a property before. The value you receive for the price of this rental is unmatched in the area. We will definitely be returning and making this our home away from home whenever we are in Rancho Mirage.

My friends and I come to Indian Wells every year to play and watch tennis, this year we rented a house instead of renting a condo. We are glad we did, we would recommend this house to one and all and would rent it again. It is very clean and the decorating is fun and eclectic. The owners are helpful and a joy to deal with. We would not recommend this place to small children as it is not toddler proof. The back patio is a great place to relax in the AM or PM and the kitchen is well equipped. The den is nicely set up for TV and movies. Very close to the River shopping and all that we wanted to do.
