Bold, moody, and a little daring, the Bonnie & Clyde Suite is The Legacy Inn’s most sultry and dramatic space—a favorite for couples looking for a bit of edge and allure during their stay. Tucked away on the second floor, this suite features a luxurious king-size bed with a wrought-iron frame, draped in rich linens and deep jewel tones that create an atmosphere of vintage romance and mystery.



Inspired by the infamous duo, the décor blends 1930s flair with modern comfort: think antique dressers, moody lighting, and subtle Art Deco touches. A pair of leather armchairs and a vintage trunk-turned-coffee table sit near the window, creating the perfect nook for sipping wine, playing cards, or simply enjoying the view of the inn’s rear gardens and tree-lined yard.



The private en-suite bathroom includes a large vanity table—ideal for getting ready in comfort—and vintage-style fixtures that complete the room’s nostalgic charm. Additional touches like soft lighting and period photographs give the suite its signature character.

Bikes Available: Guests are welcome to use the Inn’s complimentary bicycles—perfect for exploring the charm of downtown Luray or taking a leisurely ride along the nearby Luray Greenway, a scenic walking and biking trail that runs along Hawksbill Creek. Bikes are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to grab one early and enjoy the ride!



Common Areas: The Inn features several welcoming common areas, including a cozy sitting room with a fireplace. As guests at the Inn, you’ll be sharing the property with other visitors who are also enjoying their stay. While each suite or room offers private accommodations, the grounds, outdoor spaces, and common areas may be used by multiple guests. We kindly ask everyone to be respectful of quiet hours, shared amenities, and each other’s privacy. This shared environment is part of what makes the Inn such a warm and welcoming place — a chance to relax, connect, and enjoy the peaceful setting together.

With no children on-site, guests can fully unwind—whether that means sipping coffee on the porch swing, strolling to downtown Luray, or enjoying a serene evening under the stars.

Please note: The Inn is heated and cooled using mini split systems, which are energy-efficient and help us maintain comfort without altering the structure of our historic building. The mini split in the shared guest space is set to 70°F for your comfort. If the area feels too warm or too cool, you're welcome to turn off the unit using the remote; however, we kindly ask that you return it to 70°F or turn it back on when you leave the space. Due to the limitations of a historic property, we also recommend bringing a personal fan for added comfort during the warmer months.
