This apartment was perfect for our family! Subway station is super close and convenient. Safe, quiet, and nice neighborhood and close to downtown (10-15 min by train). Our family was very comfortable. Kitchen was fully equipped, beds were super cozy and washer and dryer. Host was incredibly friendly and communicated from the start all the details. They were so kind to let us drop our luggage a bit early! My family kept saying how a great place it was! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Everything you need for your stay in NY. Owner installed new air conditioners. Nice neighborhood, excellent location for Upper town. Would be good to invest in small improvements, like dishes, but all in all very good price/quality ratio

It was an amazing experience staying at this property. It was very well managed, clean, quiet and spacious unit. Did not face any issues or surprises. Great location. The owner is very polite, responsive and resourceful. It was an absolute joy to stay at this well maintained unit with new fittings and amenities. Would love to come back again. Highly recommended!!

The location is great. Quiet area, a few blocks from subway, groceries stores, great little restaurants and Central Park a few minutes away.The apartment is clean, equipped with 3 A/C units out of 4 bedrooms, lots of fans. We stay there during a heat wave and were comfortable enough. The bedrooms are spacious with windows and lots of light. The check in and out process was very smooth.It s a great place to come back to after a day of exploring the city.

Perfect!

My wife, 4 kids (9, 10, 14, 16) and myself spent 2 nights here. Literally spitting distance from Central Park. Subway station is 1 block away to take you anywhere in the 5 boroughs. 15 min on train and we were in Times Square! I accidentally left my hatch door open on our mini van from 10:30am to midnight the 2nd day with some of our stuff. EVERYTHING was still there. We walked around at all hours and always felt super safe. The place is small, as expected for NYC housing. We will definitely stay there again when we visit NYC.Plenty of towels, soap, garbage bags, toilet paper. We have nothing but good things to say about this place and our stay.

Phenomenal location, gem in Central Park West

The apartment was exactly what we were looking for and it was a key part of what was an amazing NYC trip. ABOUT US: We were two families (4 kids between 11-15) meeting up in NYC during a hot muggy week in June. We spent a busy 4 days in NYC, walking around, going to the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island, Central Park, Broadway Show, Museum of Ice Cream, shopping and bookstores.LOCATION: Location is phenomenal, 10/10. Less than 1 block from Central Park. Quiet and family-oriented neighborhood, safe, but also vibrant. Amazing cafe/restaurant on the corner where I got coffee every morning before I went on my morning walk (also has a gluten-free menu). Several grocery stores within a 6 min walk. Everyone in the neighborhood is warm and friendly. Many restaurants, delis, cafes, pizza places, etc on Columbus Avenue, Broadway, etc. Very convenient to subway, and we were able to get everywhere we needed to go within 30 min or less (door-to-door) taking public transportation. COMMUNICATION: Amber responded immediately to all of my messages, and was available for all questions. APARTMENT: Exactly as described in the listing. Large air conditioners in 3 of the 4 bedrooms (we only used 3 bedrooms). Central living area is small but accurately reflected in the photos and standard in NYC. Enough space to accommodate 2 simultaneous card games. Bedrooms all get a lot of light. Kitchen is new, water pressure in shower is great. Excellent value, 10/10 overall.

The apartment is well located and very nicely accommodated. The beds and bedding are very comfortable. Three of the four bedrooms do now contain new portable air-conditioning units. There is no air-conditioning in the 3rd bedroom, kitchen/living area, or bath. The first week of Julne had hot days and the temperature never fell below 80 degrees in most areas. There are 4 fans which made it manageable- ish. The host stated that they would continue to improve the insufficient air. Our family spent quite a bit of money to have a place together. We stayed out most days, as the temps were similar inside and out. Less than a block into Central Park and 3 blocks from the subway. The building also has an elevator.

Place and location were great. Any issues or questions we had the host responded immediately. Very happy with our stay! Cane with family from Scotland space was Percy to host 7 adults we highly re commend booking this apartment

NO A/C!!!!! Host is no help!!! Description is a lie!! Host takes no responsibility!

Our entire trip was ruined because of this listing. We rented it so that our adult kids could stay with us during a family reunion. My kids left early because they couldn’t stand the heat and stale air in the apartment. Everyone was up all night. We never would’ve rented this place for such a high nightly rate if we had known the listing was lying about having air conditioning. We came home the first night and it was brutally hot. It’s not even that the AC was broken. There is no a/c at all. No vents, no window units! With no cross ventilation, the fans were close to useless. It’s only May and NYC only gets hotter than this. It’s a safety hazard to lie about having AC and then take no responsibility.I reached out to the host to figure it out and the host told me I had to contact VRBO. But that is not how refunds work on VRBO. (VRBO told me it was up to the host, not them.) The host is refusing to take any responsibility whatsoever, so I have no choice but to leave this review. Do not stay here.
