Located at the top of the hill on the northside (next to The Charlevoix House Bed 'n Breakfast, across from The Earl), this home has a newly renovated kitchen, freshly painted interior, and decorated in a cottage/beach style. Enjoy the enclosed Front porch, furnished, so you can open windows, enjoy the breeze and people watch. Great space to start your day enjoying a morning coffee or to unwind with a glass of wine while you make dinner plans.

Park your car for the week and walk to everything: enjoy magnificent sunsets over Lake Michigan, just one block away, as well as a public access beach to Lake Michigan.
A 4/5 star restaurant at the base of the hill on the Pine River Channel. Take a morning stroll to the cafe/bakery just across the bridge. Take the wagon and do your grocery shopping at Oleson's, just downtown.
Spend your evenings eating ice cream as you stroll along the docks enjoying the beautiful boats and concerts in the park. Enjoy sitting in the large, fenced in backyard as you watch your children play. Now offering “tipped” concierge service! Very clean , close to everything- walk to everything!! Awesome if you have kids!!The wagon was a big hit and beach towels!!Others from out State & Country next door at hotel Earl made us all close.

Wonderful home

We had a group of 4, for my girlfriend’s 65th! Kaye went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for our 4 night stay including picking up the cake to surprise her! Positively the perfect location for walking to dinner, shopping and sunsets every night!

Great stay

We love visiting Charlevoix and staying at the Hilltop Cottage. It is always clean and well stocked with the necessities. You can easily walk into town and enjoy the beaches, dining, and shopping.

Gorgeous location

Beautiful lake house, loved walking to the beach and into town. Perfect for our family (4 kids, ages 6 - 17) had all the beach supplies we needed. We also loved having coffee on the porch every morning.

Really enjoyed our stay in Charlevoix. Having several young children, we loved the nice big fenced in yard! The location was great too! Easy walk to Lake Michigan and downtown.

Cute Cottage, great location!

We loved staying here! We were in town for a wedding and didn’t have a lot of down time so it was great exploring in the pockets of time we had! Literally 5 minute walk or drive. Comfy and clean!

We loved this house in Charlevoix! The location was great, we could walk to downtown and to Michigan beach. The house was clean with plenty of room for my husband, daughter, son-in-law and 22 month old grandson. Beautiful back yard! Would definitely stay here again.

The place was a great location and had a lot of amenities to the house. Including bicycles and beach chairs and spacious parking. Love they had beach towels for everybody.

Amazing location

We had such a great time at this cottage for our week in Charlevoix. The location is amazing and the backyard was so great for our kids to play and run around in. The house was great as we spent a lot of time on the front porch and outback. Everything else was just what we needed for our week. We look forward to returning!!

Easy walk to downtown

The sun porch is a great place to enjoy morning coffee. Very clean and a convenient location. Several restaurants and shops withing easy walking distance and just a short drive to a very nice beach. Upstairs bathroom is a bit small.

Lovely lakeside town

I selected this property to stay at during the Charlevoix race weekend. This was the first time I had been to Charlevoix. It was a perfect location not only for race proximity, but also just a walk across the drawbridge to stores and restaurants. Our group would love to come back and stay at this property again. There was more than enough room for our families to enjoy this time together.

Hilltop Cottage is our new Happy Place!

I have only the best things to say about our stay at Hilltop Cottage. The entire experience exceeded any and all expectations! Hilltop Cottage had everything we needed (and then some), the location is out-of-this world and the host made the check-in/check-out process extremely simple and straightforward. The house has so much charm and truly felt like a home-away-from-home for our few days there. We thoroughly enjoyed playing board games, drinking coffee on the porch, campfires at night and being able to be downtown in a matter of minutes. Hilltop Cottage is our new Happy Place and we cannot wait to book our next trip!

Hilltop Cottage Marathon weekend

Perfect location and home for families and small groups. We had 4 adults and 3 children (ages 4-14). The home is comfortable with plenty of space for meals and games in the dinning room and outside. We used the grill on site, lemonade stand and backyard. It is a short walk to the beach, grocery store, playground and shopping downtown. This was our second year staying at Hilltop and we will definitely come back next year.

Everything we hoped for and more!

I was the star of our sister's trip having found this gem in Charlevoix. We could easily walk to everything - shopping, coffee, the beach, etc. We loved to walk to the bridge and watch the sunset. A great base to visit Mackinac Island, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Petoskey. But the best part was getting back to the cottage for wine and talk on the front porch. Would book again in a minute!

Family vacation

We had a lovely stay at this house. The location is perfect for walking into town and the beach. Our teens loved the autonomy its proximity offered them. I was concerned that it was going to be too hot in the upstairs bedrooms but fans were provided and positioned near the AC vent, which kept it cool. Towels, beach towels, paper products, hand and dish soap were provided which was helpful. I loved spending time on the front porch in the morning and evenings. The house was equipped with everything that we needed. Thanks for sharing your home with us. We fell in love with Charlevoix!

This house has amazing light; it is like a breath of fresh air. A newly remodeled kitchen, freshly painted interior, with natural light that lends to that cottage feel.
