This rustic unit sit high above the Mississippi River. The unit was completely remodeled in 2018 to maintain its rustic charm yet give you some modern upgrades including a new 40 inch Smart TV ,air conditioner ,water heater Flooring windows and window treatments and new decks to enjoy all the outdoors have to offer.This two bedroom mobile home is located in the heart of a sportsman's paradise. Property adjoins rush creek wildlife preserve. Perfect for Turkey,deer and duck hunting. Seven boat launches within minutes of the property. Genoa and Lynxville dams 15 miles north and south of the rental. Great hiking bird watching boating and sandbars for summer fun. Ice fishing and snowmobiling for winter fun.

The rental is an old mobile home but very clean and well furnished. Host was kind enough to refund one night when we had to leave early. The approach to unit is steep & were unable to get our motorcycle up the last section of the driveway but were able to park it a short way down the driveway.

Beautiful River Views

Comfy cabin with a scenic view of the Mississippi. Jill does a great job of preparing the cabin with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Always love the time we spend there.

Very quaint mobile home... only the small shower was a bit wierd.... very private... all necessities provided were great.

Getaway/ Bowfishing

We loved our stay with Jill! We had everything that we needed and then some! The guys had a Bowfishing tournament on Saturday night. There was plenty of room to park our airboat. I enjoyed getting away and the view was fabulous!

Very private with beautiful scenery

For us, the feature we appreciated the most was the privacy of this rental. It's located at a high point above other rentals with a wonderful view of the river. It's surrounded by woods with a nice yard in front. You can move about in the front yard and, because of the height, no one can see you're there. It has a screened-in front porch, which we repeatedly enjoyed. The AC kept things cool inside on a couple hot days, and we made use of the well-equipped kitchen and the outside grill for meals. Jill stopped by as she mowed near our property and is very friendly, offering good suggestions on where to eat and things to do in the area. She was also very responsive to any needs/questions we had. A wonderful stay.

Great View

We enjoyed being up on the ridge away from other people with an excellent view of the Mississippi. We watched the eagles, there was a nest along the river we could see. We were surprised how big it was. The screen room was really nice to have to get out of the rain(it rained most of our weekend) and listening to the rain drops hit the metal roof was soothing. Jill had firewood there for us to use which was great. The only thing I would complain about would be the water pressure, a little slow. But otherwise everything else was great, extra blankets, pillows, kitchen was stocked with necessities. We had a great time celebrating my family's April birthdays. We travel up that way every so often to visit my brother and his family. We will definitely keep you in mind for our next adventure. Thanks Jill!

Really lovely

Jill’s cabin is very cute! We enjoyed a thunderstorm from the screen porch and watched fireflies dance afterwards. Great location to many good fishing spots! Jill was great, and we would love to visit her property again in the future. (Also, having AC at a cabin is oh so nice since it was mid-90* temps when we were there).

Hidden gem!

We LOVED this property. They literally have everything you’ll need right in the trailer. Jill, the owner, is incredibly fast at getting back with any questions. We’ll for sure rent again.

Nice cabin!

Had a great stay no complaints. Perfect place to stay while you enjoy some fishing or hunting on the river. Very convenient being only a mile from the boat ramp.

Great quite cabin, with awesome views and everything you need!

My wife and my grown son stayed at Jill's Ferryville cabin for 8 full days and enjoy every minute of it. Whether it was lying low and watching Direct Tv, online watching Netfix, working remotely on the wifi connection, exploring the local towns of lancaster, Mcgregor, or Guttenburg it was a great getaway that was within 3 hours from the TwinCities. Jill was great to work with, and has a wealth of knowledge of the local hotspots. She really cares for her customers and provided us with a great spot to have our summer family vacation that we could actually afford. If you are looking for at cabin that offer the BEST value, look no futher than this offering that Jill has here! Best Regards, Howie, Lynne & Tony Pince

very cozy

the cabin was spacious, comfortable and everything was provided for us. The rooms were nice and clean. The area is very beautiful and the neighboring towns where really nice.
