Beautiful Lake Home in N GA with 360 water views! Kayaks, Fishing, Golf

This lakeside house is full of character and charm and is perfect for a weekend getaway! You can either stay here for your entire getaway or use it as a ground zero for exploring the local wineries, easy access to exceptional hiking trails, and all North Georgia has to offer. Alderaan Point is in the gorgeous community of Bent Tree. You will have access to the mountain golf course, swimming pools (during summer months), tennis and pickleball courts (for an additional fee).

The space
Alderaan Point has plenty of spacious areas to gather, outside on the deck, in the sunroom with wall-to-wall windows, the kitchen or the huge living room with a wood burning stove. There are 4 TVs with Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney+ (Bedrooms 1&2), living room and sunroom). There is an assortment of board games and card games, books, binoculars, and telescope for our guests to use.

We also have 3 kayaks for guest use (single, sit-on kayaks) you put in right at the road in front of the home. Tamarack Lake is a non-powered lake, so nothing more than a Jon boat with an electric motor is allowed.

Grocery stores towards Jasper are about 20 minutes away, so it's best to bring food and groceries with you. We have coffee, condiments, salt, pepper, seasonings, spray oil, tin foil, baggies for guests to use. We also supply paper towels, toilet paper and hand soaps. We have shampoos, conditioner and body soaps if you forget it!

Guest access
The whole house and property. Our property lines are the driveway to just past the gazebo. You are free to walk down to the beach at the point - it is Bent Tree community space. Behind the home towards the road is private property belonging to neighbors; please be respectful of their properties.

Other things to note
There are many full-time residents in the Bent Tree Community, so please respect the speed limits and noise ordinances. Lake Tamarack is a non-motorized lake; only canoes, kayaks, paddle boards and Jon boats with electric motors are allowed on the lake. 2 dogs (up to 50 lbs per pet) are allowed.
