Nicely renovated property. Everything in great condition. Pet friendly and available parking both a plus. Host communication was very good and timely. When there was an unexpected problem (not in their control) the host was immediately responsive (and it was in the evening). Location worked out well for our plans. Property had all the basics for a couple for a short stay.

The apartment was very nice. Bed was extremely comfortable. I was originally sent the wrong address and when the code did not work we were able to reach the owner right away and he made sure we got in. Also, there was no washer and dryer in the apartment as advertised. At least we did not see it. You need to contact the owner to get the WiFi passcode. Over all it was a good experience and we would stay there again.

Listen, we would never stay here again. Period. The listing shows a gym, a washer and a dryer, all of which were important to our booking. Guess what: NONE OF THOSE EXIST.I asked the owner about the above. His response about the washer/dryer was, "You're welcome to do your laundry over here, across the street." No way. And if I were a single woman, in what world would that have been acceptable???And he completely blew off the missing gym.The neighborhood may be safe, but the bedroom window faces the "parking area", basically an alley littered with trash.We broke a lamp while we were there. We end up paying for two since the one we broke was evidently part of a matched set. So now he has three lamps. Fair enough, I guess.I'll give him credit, though. The bed is comfortable and the shower is great. So's mine. As long as this listing continues to cite a gym, washer and dryer, my advice is "Avoid. Avoid. Avoid." Because why support deception when you can give your money to someone honest?

First, regarding the gym and washer/dryer: when our listing first launched, those amenities were included as default settings and were not yet fully updated. We understand how important these features can be when choosing a place to stay, and we sincerely apologize for the confusion. We did communicate at the beginning of your stay what was available and what was not, but we understand that this was still disappointing. We are actively working on infrastructure updates so that a washer and dryer can eventually be added within the unit itself. At present, the laundry option we offered is located just adjacent to the property due to space limitations within the home. We understand that this arrangement may not suit everyone’s preferences, and we appreciate your perspective. Regarding the exterior photo you shared: the image was taken on local trash collection day, when bins are placed out and, at times, debris can be blown around by wind. This is a temporary situation that does not reflect the typical condition of the property or neighborhood, nor the experience most of our guests have had during their stays. We’re glad to hear you found the bed comfortable and enjoyed the shower, guest comfort is very important to us. As for the lamp, we appreciate your understanding in resolving that matter. We take guest feedback seriously and are continually working to improve both the accuracy of our listing and the experience we provide. We regret that your stay did not reflect the positive experiences many other guests have had, and we appreciate your comments as they help us make necessary improvements moving forward.
