The views from this home were amazing! Kids loved the underside and the swimspa and other games. Definitely a lot of stairs up as the house is on stilts.

The Best Bolivar Vacation Ever!

We have stayed at beachfront properties on the Bolivar peninsula approximately 10 times and this beachhouse is the best ever. Beautifully decorated, homey, with a well-stocked kitchen, and location on a wide section of the beach, this property is one we will return to time and time again. There are great amenities to keep children and teenagers entertained and The Big Store is close by for forgotten items. The house was perfectly clean and comfortable. We were very happy there. Truly the best ever--I would give 10 stars if I could.

Perfect beach house

Location couldn't have been better. Somewhat secluded but still only 5-10 mins to stores and eateries. No crowds at the beach even though it was Spring Break week; plenty of space. Bring a large skillet with you. Would stay again!

The layout of the house and rooms fit our needs perfectly. Beautifully decorated. Loved the wooden patio furniture! Lots of space. Nice appliances.

Great Beachfront Location

Enjoyed the location, porch and downstairs areas. Bedrooms are great too, just wished it had one more bathroom or at least half bath. Kitchen/Living room area is a great space to hang out as well. Overall a good choice. Make sure to bring your favorite cooking utensils because we were lacking a spatula and silicone spoons while there. Bath towels were not plentiful either and there are no bath floor mats or rugs either so just plan accordingly.

Beach House

House and property was perfect, the only complaint we had is the balcony lights did not work (assuming bulbs needed to be replaced) and not enough bath towels for everyone every day, we spent a lot of time washing towels. Other than that we had a perfect weekend there.

Very relaxing

Very nice and clean rental. Everything worked as it should. The owners will respond quickly to email's if you have any questions. We have stayed several times on Bolivar in different places but this will be our go to rental from now on.

Perfect place to unwind!

Loved this property! We had 4 adults and 2 children under 10. The house was in a perfect location to relax and take full advantage of the beach. The beach was literally in the backyard and made it so convenient with little ones to go back and forth all day. We enjoyed that it was a quiet and calm family Beach away from Galveston but close enough if we wanted to go to Pleasure Pier. There is a well appointed store 9 minutes down the road for groceries or last minute items you may need. The house it’s self was the perfect size and well stocked with everything you need to cook all meals and not have to run out for anything. The beds were clean and comfortable. This property has been one of the best I’ve rented to date. The owners are quick to communicate. Our family has already started planning our next trip and will stay here again!! Thank you for a great stay!

Amazing house with amazing view!!!

House was just perfect for my big family. Beach access was just AMAZING!!! I will definitely look into rebooking for future family vacations. This place will not disappoint. Communication with the host was right on as well.

Total Mess

Arrived at the beach house on july 5,2023. Upon arrival i noticed outside trash can was over filled. Went upstairs to the porch and noticed the key was on a outside table. Noticed there was no one around. Then i noticed the door was slightly open. Went inside and saw sheets and towels on the floor in every room; the floors were not swept; old food in refrigerator. Contacted the manager and he told me someone would come to clean the house. check in was at 4 didnt get in until 7p. Next night swarms of termite looking bugs took over porch up and down stairs. They were even inside of the house on the back wall and couch. we were told they come out when the wind stops blowing off the beach. Took hours to get them out of the house and off the porch. All of these issues were suprising because this was the third year in a row we have stayed at this beach house and probaly the last time.

Perfect family getaway

Wonder beach house!

Stayed three nights. Perfect location away from the crowds. Everything was very nice as described. Great view of the beach from the deck. We had a wonderful stay and would do it again. Great hosts too!

Vacation 2023

My family and I had a wonderful time at the beach. The house is awesome, in a great location, and the weather was perfect. Woke up each morning to a beautiful sunrise, drinking coffee on the deck. There is plenty of furniture both upstairs and downstairs to sit and enjoy the view. A nice size table is on the deck where we ate our meals and enjoyed the ocean view just steps from the house. The kitchen is a nice size with a huge island that accommodates meals for a large crowd if you choose to eat indoors. This part of the beach is family friendly, the owners were quick to respond to our questions, and we will definitely rent this house again.

Bday stay

Overall great place. Bbq pit was inoperable and needs replacing, fridge downstairs was rusted, dirty and also inoperable. I guess most things down stairs were in similar condition but understandably so being on the water. Inside is really nice and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Awesome house directly on the beach!

This was the perfect house! Everything was clean, easy to communicate with the owners, and was the perfect place right on the beach! It was very reasonably priced and fit everyone comfortably! What a great house! I hope to rent again soon!

Lovely escape

Bolivar Peninsula is a winter favorite of ours. This property did not disappoint. Deck felt like being on the beach without the sand and the property was ideal for our dogs as well. Definitely will return.

2nd Stay Great Location and Beach House!

We had a great trip despite the rainy weather. House is perfect private location. All the amenities and highly recommend. The deck overlooking the ocean is our favorite spot! Ocean and beach is right out the back.
