The Hillside Cottage- 2 min Walk to Road America!

The Hillside Cottage is the perfect location for anyone visiting Elkhart Lake, Road America, or the many different golf courses and hiking trails in the area. This home sits on 1 acre & provides exceptional views of rolling hills and a pond. Inside, presents an open concept living & kitchen area, great for entertaining. Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck while watching the sunrise or perhaps a cocktail by the fire to end the busy day. This home is located only 0.2 miles from Road America.

Inside the cottage, you will find a welcoming entryway, vaulted ceilings in the living room, and a spiral staircase leading up to the loft. The loft features 4 twin built-in beds that overlook the amazing views out back. Back downstairs on the main level, is a spacious master bedroom which provides a plush king bed and 2 large closets. The newly remodeled bathroom has a tub and shower, with double sinks, and lots of counter space. The open kitchen includes an island with seating for five and a full-size table to have meals together or play card games at night. The kitchen is fully stocked, ready to make your gourmet meals at home, plus a full-size dishwasher for easy clean up. The living room has a 55in TV which you can sign into all the streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hulu. There is plenty of seating for watching a movie, playing board games or enjoying the view out of the large windows and a patio door, which leads to a large deck.

My favorite place at the cottage is the deck! The wrap-around deck and the beautiful view make it the perfect place to catch up with friends or sit and indulge in a good book. There is also a firepit for smore’s and pudgy pie making during the summer months. There is also a charcoal grill available, but please no grilling on the wood deck.


There is parking on the property for large trailers and RVs. More parking is available in the north driveway.

All bath towels, washcloths, shampoo, conditioner, soap and hairdryer are provided in the bathroom.
The kitchen is supplied with dishwasher detergent, dish soap, salt and pepper, cooking oil and coffee. Please let me know if you find something that I need to add to the kitchen supplies.
All bedding, pillows and extra blankets are there for your use as well.

Guests will have full access to the main level and the loft. We will provide you with a door code to let yourself in.

During the summer months, especially weekends, there will be noise from Road America Racetrack across the street. We are very close to the action and all the excitement happening there.

No smoking or vaping inside the home.

There is a Ring doorbell camera at the front entrance and two cameras overlooking both driveways for security purposes. No cameras are located inside or in private outdoor spaces.
