Our penthouse is located in the “Las Palomas Golf and Seaside Resort” on Sandy Beach, one of the best resorts in the area. This penthouse is a 3b/3b condominium with a private suite (lock off unit). All 3 bedrooms are very independent from each other giving great privacy to all which is one of the many great features in this Penthouse. All bedrooms have spectacular ocean views. Fully furnished, and decorated, fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, pool table converts into air hockey and ping pong table, propane grill and fire pit on the patio. Enjoy the magnificent views from the Penthouse huge patio with over 4,500 sq. ft.

Overall it was a great condo with an enormous balcony and the views are amazing. We had plenty of room to play corn hole on the balcony. Everything was in working order. Will definitely be back.

Graduation celebration vacay

The rooms were great! We enjoyed the indoor and outdoor space except for the BBQ grill, which had no propane and that was disappointing because we bought meat to barbecue. The amenities were outstanding including the pool and access to the beach. What a weekend!

Great Unit for a Teenagers Springbreak!

Last year, we rented a different condo at Las Palomas for springbreak with our teenage granddaughters and their two friends -- and we barely saw them for four days. This time, we rented this unit to encourage them being at the condo more with their friends. It worked! With a beautiful balcony/deck with a fire pit and views of both the sunrises and sunsets, a pool table and lots of space, we saw lots more of them over the four days we were in Rocky Point.

Spring break stay

We enjoyed our stay despite the wind and mother nature not cooperating. The property was clean and looked exactly like the pictures. Unfortunately we could not get the fire pit to work and the grill did not work very well. Definitely not a deal breaker though. We would definitely stay again. The resort staff were all friendly and helpful.

We had no water

For over half the stay we had no water. I’ve been in communication with the owner. He said I need to request half of my bill be refunded thru you and he will approve it.

That's correct a city pump was out and the whole resort didn't have consistent water until the city fixed the pump

Great Great Great unit with no dissapointmentsng

The pictures and video did a great job of showing how incredible this unit really is. The patio is clearly the showpiece of this outstanding unit and we spend the majority of our time outside using the killer speakers from our iPhone. We brought Baggo/Cornhole boards and played countless games while trying to grill all the shrimp we could carry. Mornings were filled with Bloody Mary's and more dolphins than we could count. This condo is awesome, dealing with the owner was quick and easy. RENT THIS UNIT IF YOU CAN.....ITS CRAZY NICE. Private and secure and truly a hidden jewel of Las Palomas.

This was absolutely wonderful!!!!

This 7,000 sq. ft. penthouse has 4,000 sq. ft. of wrap-around patio and 3,000 sq. ft. of interior residence which has 2 master suites and a 3rd equally large bedroom (all of which have ocean views) with 3 bathrooms, pool table/combo air hockey table, propane grill and a duraflame log firepit. Plenty of seating on this monster patio and the view from the 11th story is totally up and down the beach both ways plus a birdseye view of the entire swimming pool area and lazy river. Surround sound system inside and out. We totally enjoyed this experience. The owner is really great to work with and very responsive. I am only sorry I could not give the rating 10 stars.

Nice size but needs some TLC

While the size of the condo is great the dilapidated appearance was not so great. Holes in floor tile missing peeling rusty cabinet doors on outdoor kitchen. Broken jacuzzi, decorative fountain, pool table/pool cues and fire pit were huge disappointments and eyesores. The mattresses are sunken in the center and could use a flip or replacement. The dishwasher is not bolted in and tips when you open it or pull the racks out. Smart TVs in the rooms would be a nice added touch.

Bienvenidos Penthouse

Overall, we had a great stay in this amazing penthouse. The space was very comfortable and clean, providing a pleasant environment for our stay. However, we did notice a few areas that could use some attention. There were cracks in the walls, and the ceiling in the master bedroom appeared to have some structural issues around the light fixture. Additionally, there were several lightbulbs that needed to be replaced, and the firepit could use some maintenance or replacement. These issues are minor and easily fixable, but addressing them would greatly enhance the overall experience for future guests. Despite these small concerns, the incredible views and sunsets from the penthouse overshadowed any inconveniences. I would gladly rent this property again in the future. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your unit and for providing us with lasting memories.

INCREDIBLE CONDO, AMAZING VIEW & ATTENTIVE OWNERS

My husband and I recently took our two toddlers and our parents to this amazing condo and we had an absolutely spectacular vacation. The condo is phenomenal.....it's clean, spacious, comfortable and the view is beyond belief. The beds were comfortable and there was enough room to set up two pack and plays in the room that my husband and I were using (for our 2 toddlers). It was really nice for us and our parents to all have our own bathrooms. When we were in the midst of booking this unit. Jerry responded right away and he made it such and easy and effortless process. Each time that I had a question for him, he would answer my text or email almost immediately and and he was a pleasure to work with. When we checked into the unit, I had a question that I texted him, and his wife was kind enough to call the condo and answer my question as quickly as she could. The resort was just amazing. With the kids pools, kid's club, fitness room, swim up bars, the beach....it was just perfect for a family vacation. We can't wait to go back and when we do, this condo will be the first place that I try and book. Thanks Jerry!

BEST UNIT IN LAS PALOMAS - BEST VIEW WITHOUT A DOUBT

I have been going to Rocky point and Las Palomas for 7+ years now and I have always wanted to rent one of the Penthouses to see if they are worth the extra money. Well I finally decided to bite the bullet and rent one and I am extremely happy that I did....the view from this unit is truly amazing, you can see the entire Coastline, Sunset, Pool Area and Downtown Area from your perch. The balcony is incredible, it has a sitting area with a fire pit in the table - with no moon the stars are awesome, with the moonlight the ocean is beautiful - there are two huge hammocks for relaxation which the kids really enjoy. My favorite items are the pool/air hockey table inside and the outdoor sound system that you can connect your I-Phone/I-Pod too - the sound is super clear!! This unit is great for three couples, 2 couples with kids (4), or a family of 8 with the Grandparents. If you live in Phoenix and you haven't made the short, safe drive to Rocky Point do yourself a favor and go immediately - if you really want to spoil yourself and get the best view and in my opinion the best room in Las Palomas - then I would recommend this one!! Can't wait to go back...the view is addicting.

Disappointing

Apologies for the unfavorable review. We are owners in Diamante 408 and are happy to further discuss. We planned a surprise party and I was definitely disappointed.. Repairs are needed. Jacuzzi on the patio was an eyesore, trough filled with shells and whale bones was not too attractive and outside bar needs a rehab. Cabinet doors (bar outside) are damaged and some not even attached. Interior needs work as well. OLP also needs to clean the trash off the roof top that is an eyesore when looking out towards the Malecon. No shower handle, shower curtains dangling, TV area wall needs repair and water damage (and dripping) in front Master. Interior had a musty smell due to the water damage. Overall this property could really use a freshening up and a coat of paint.

Absolutely gorgeous views and really nice stay overall

We had an excellent time staying at this property. My husband and I wanted to take my parents to Rocky Point for their first time, and we wanted to be sure they had a great time! Mission accomplished. They were wow-ed with the incredible views from this condo!! Las Palomas as a resort is nice- they do a really good job keeping the grounds clean. The condo itself is very well sized. There is a master, a large second bedroom, and also a lock-off bedroom. Master and large second bedroom both open up to the MASSIVE main deck, and lock -off has its own deck. All have expansive views of the ocean. All bedrooms have brand new king size beds which are very comfortable. There are some previous reviews about beds not being up to par, and that issue has been handled very well. Everything we used worked just fine, although I admit we did not try the grill or firepit so I cannot comment on those things. For a group of 4, this condo gave plenty of room to spread out. My husband unfortunately had to work one of the days we were there, but he just used the lock off room as a makeshift office and The internet was fast enough for him to have uninterrupted meetings on his VPN. There have been some comments about this condo needing some TLC, and honestly I would have to disagree. There are signs of sun damage on the outdoor cabinets, but I would expect this on a big outdoor patio that is in direct sunlight most of the time. Inside, everything is very nice! What a great trip!! We will be back :)

Didn't get what we paid for

Rented this unit based on the description the owner provided. We thought for what was described it was worth the price. We arrived late Thursday night. We immediately turned on all AC units and left to get food expecting a much cooler room upon return but third was not the case. Called the front desk but were told that it was late they'd send someone in the morning to take a look and also fix lights not working on balcony. Friday about noon still no word so we call again and they tell us compressor is broken they will find us another room. We weren't really interested in having to move all our things so they said they would try to get situation resolved by bringing us a fan and giving some type of compensation. Went out came back late no energy to argue but no fan, no lights and realize ice maker not working... Saturday morning still no fan and no lights fixed or replaced. Filed complaint at front office and were assured items would be fixed. Come back around 4 pm to start barbecuing. Dishes sitting in dishwasher dirty and no soap to wash by hand. Housekeeping comes back up apparently dishwasher is broken. Start cooking with limited pots and pans most without lids then realize BBQ not starting. Maintenance has to come back and struggle to get it started with lighter. Again say they will replace light bulbs leave and come back with wrong type and say they don't have the ones needed. So now sitting here with broken AC, ice maker, dishwasher, lights, BBQ and owner responds to our text that hopefully it's not so hot that AC is needed and hopefully all else was resolved. Must be nice when you know everything has already been paid...it's currently 80 degrees in my bedroom 84 in the other and 79 in the third. I wonder if that's how the owner likes to sleep during his vacations?? Or if he finds it relaxing to have to keep calling maintenance??

Unfortunately, this guest is correct. Those instances did occur. The unit was rented every weekend that month with no reports of malfunctions or no reports from the post stay inspection of any repairs being needed. The first I heard of this was when the guest texted me late sat night threatening to sue me. On occasion, things do need repair. 1st, I want to emphasize that the guest was offered to be relocated to a similar unit, but he refused (I guess he liked the view). This is standard procedure from the management company for any unit that for whatever reason is not 100%. Secondly, the mgt company sent housekeeping and they did his dishes for him so he wouldn't have too. Thirdly, even though he refused to relocate, they still gave him substantial financial remuneration along with dining credits. There isn't much else they could have done. Currently,( less than a few days after his stay) all except one item is repaired, and as soon as the part arrives, that will be completed. While I understand his frustration anyone who has done international traveling understands things don't move as they do in the US. Mexico, I love it there but many things are mannana. I do applogize for his experience, but he is the one who refused to be relocated to something that fit his expectations at that time. I think he vented in this review after being informed he would have to go to Mexico city to file suit, and In his words "to legally get a full refund" as he didn't think a partially free stay and food credits were enough. Although this has only happened a few times in almost ten years, I will be more diligent requesting post stay inspections in the future. On a side note, I am from Arizona, and keep my thermostat between 80-82. The preprogrammed ones in the unit, can not go below 74 as it burns out the compressors. Thus, I was surprised at the level of frustration over this as only one out of 4 compressors were not working properly, and the ambient temp was in the low 70's at night only reaching a high of less than 85 during the day. I guess it was comfortable enough for him to refuse to be relocated to another unit.

About Myself. I was raised in the Midwest, but I have lived in every major region in the US including both coasts. After completing my doctorate, I moved from the Pacific Northwest in 2000 to Make Phoenix my permanent residence. Why did I buy it: Because of my travels, I knew what I wanted, Views, Views, and more Views! At that time Las Palomas has just started their first building, and one of the original developers had planned to keep the 11th floor penthouse, but he allowed me to purchase it and be in on the construction from the beginning. It was a perfect fit. We were able to make the patio total size larger than a basketball court, and place the outside propane grill and bar on the deck along with multiple private seating areas. There is also a portable fire pit (please only use duraflame type logs for safety and cleanliness). Also, we were able to cover some of the deck to allow people who want to sit in the shade and still enjoy the outside. This, along with a marine grade outdoor surround system compatible with any Apple device (I-pod/phone/pad) has resulted in weddings, and business receptions on the deck overlooking the beach not to mention many catered dinners with family members and guests.

Compramos este condominio porque nos encanto el lugar, y por tanto viajar por el mundo ya sabia lo que queria. En ese tiempo Las Palomas acabava de comenzar su primer edificio, y uno de los desarrolladores originales tenía previsto quedarse con la unidad, pero decidio verdermela. Fue perfecto, la terraza es grandissima, cuenta con su parilla de propano y bar en la terraza. Esto, junto con un sistema de sonido de muy buena calidad compatible con cualquier dispositivo de Apple (I-pod/phone/pad). En este Condominio se ha dado bodas y recepciones de negocios en la terraza con vista a la playa. Sin hablar de muchas cenas con familiares e invitados.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Unique Benefits: A traveler will truly enjoy the ability to combine outdoor patio activities with being able to enjoy the indoor activites of the pool table/air hockey/ping pong table or just enjoying cooking in the large kitchen or watching TV/DVDs on flat screens in the living room or any of the bedrooms by opening up the living room glass wall or bedroom glass doors. This gives you a feeling of having the whole beach to yourself. My wife has uniquely decorated it comfortably with both a contemporary and a Mexican flare. There are many times that we have not even left the unit during our stay. To my understanding, there is nowhere else in this resort that simultaneously you can watch the sunset, the old town city lights, the golf course, and look at the pool area at the same time. You can relax in one of the loungers, the hammock or sit in one of the many sitting areas when others are enjoy activities or resting indoors or out. Also, the unit comes with a 'prestige card' golf membership that allows discounted rates and preferred tee times at the golf course. I think you will very much enjoy our little pieece of paradise.

Los beneficios son que realmente se disfruta la terraza grandísima con bellísimas vistas. Adentro también hay una mesa de billar, TV / DVD en pantallas planas en la sala de estar y en cualquiera de las habitaciones. Mi esposa decoro el condominio de forma cómoda tanto con un estilo contemporáneo con un toque mexicano. Hay muchas veces que ni siquiera hemos salido de la unidad durante nuestra estancia. No hay otro lugar en este complejo como este condominio cual ofrece vistas del puerto, de la cuidad, de campo de golf, y de toda la playa. Usted puede relajarse en la hamaca. Además, la unidad cuenta con club de golf 'tarjeta de prestigio' que permite descuentos preferenciales en el campo de golf. Creo que le encantara mucho nuestro paraíso. Bienvenidos.
