From the moment you arrive, your heart and mind will be renewed by the immense power of the Rockies as you stare across the Aspen Brook Valley at the Continental Divide.
Whether it's your first visit or your hundredth, the mountains cry “Welcome Home!” and rarely leave your sight as you settle in to Hearthstone's embrace.

The large five-bedroom home was designed to welcome multi-generational families in comfort, with plenty of space to gather together, while at the same time offering quiet places for retreat. The main level has no stairs, ensuring that you can walk or roll from the driveway, through the garage, and into every room with ease. There is an elevator to make sure that everyone has access to both levels. Air conditioning ensures that you'll stay cool on hot summer days.

As you approach Hearthstone for the first time, you'll notice that the gabled roof echoes the mountain peaks of Rocky Mountain National Park that overwhelm your visual senses from the moment you enter Windcliff. Colorado stone transports you to the grand front entrance flanked by handcrafted stained glass panels that depict nature scenes near and dear to the homeowners.

You may want to inhale before you step into the foyer because your breath is about to be taken by the views! Breathe. Exhale the outside world and inhale the rarefied air of the Rockies. This is your new home far, far away from the hustle and the bustle. The wall of windows in the great room will demand your continuous gaze to the panorama of mountain peaks and towering pine trees — a view which you will never tire of — like a new old friend, you will come to know this view as a part of your life you will never want to live without.

Massive wooden beams define the vaulted space above. Hand-cut rock defines the fireplace wall and herein lies the namesake for the home: a hearthstone with a very special family connection from a land half a world away. You'll want to sit with a throw on the cozy upholstered couches with your favorite soothing beverage as you pick up the leather-bound book that tells the heartfelt story of Hearthstone. This space is for contemplation…conversation…catching up…unplugging…absorbing…and listening to the mountains. You have much to catch up on.
Kitchen and Dining

The large chef's kitchen is decorated with gorgeous natural materials that include stunning quartzite countertops, white oak cabinets, and a hand-hewn hood vent. Rustic hand-made goods can be found throughout, acknowledging Colorado's rich history of ranch life and farming, but don't let that fool you – there is a wealth of culinary amenities at your disposal.

Whether you want to make a PB&J to take on your next hike or cook Thanksgiving dinner for your multi-generational group, it's all there for you. The professional-grade six burner stove and large oven are ready and waiting. If cooking is your thing, browse through the cookbooks in the prep kitchen and have fun trying something new! The expansive dining table seats twelve — a ten-foot-long rustic beauty made by a local craftsman, large enough to accommodate dinner on one end and the work-in-progress of a 1000-piece puzzle on the other.
Bedrooms

The five bedrooms are all appointed with the same features: privacy, comfort, SmartTV, and a memorable panoramic mountain view. No need to leave the warmth of your bed as you wake up each morning to enjoy scenery that is ever-changing, never the same twice and never gets old.

The primary bedroom suite is located on the main floor, with a king-sized bed below a vaulted ceiling, and a private sliding glass door to the deck. The large bathroom offers a heated floor, twin vanities, a soaking tub, and glass-enclosed shower. Hand-blown glass light fixtures complement the wall of reclaimed wood, all combining to create your private spa-like escape.

Four additional bedrooms are found in two wings on the lower level. The north wing includes a large bedroom with a king-sized bed, and a second bedroom with two extra-long twin beds. These two rooms share a large hall bath that is clad in beautiful natural stone. The south wing holds two additional bedrooms, each with a private bathroom. The first has a king-sized bed, with beautiful local photographic prints and a special work of handcrafted tile in the bathroom. The second is a bunk room, which has four built-in extra-long twin bunk beds, each having its own niche with a reading lamp, electrical outlet, and shelf. An en-suite bathroom and roomy closet complete the bunk room hideout that's fun for all ages.
Technology

Hearthstone is served by GB fiber-optic high-speed internet, with repeaters such that every room in the home enjoys good service. All of the televisions have cable service and use the wi-fi for connecting to your favorite streaming service accounts. The great room offers a sound system that you can access via Bluetooth with the receiver in the kitchen. Finally, the garage has a NEMA 14-50 outlet (cables not provided) for charging electric or hybrid vehicles.
Indoor Fun

The large Family Room offers a cozy sectional sofa in front of a large television for cable and movies, as well as a variety of apps and an HDMI connection that's ready for your games.

A pub-style table and chairs offer a place to play cards or games, which can be found in the game closet. Adjacent to the Family Room is the game room, offering an old-style arcade, loaded with hundreds of classic games, and musical instruments. A wet bar completes the lower level.
Outdoor Recreation

You'll be irresistibly drawn outside to the natural beauty just outside Hearthstone's door. The large deck has an uncovered side for spectacular views of the night sky as well as a roofed side that will shield you from the bright daytime sun. The hot tub shares the same view, and can be accessed from the lower level.

When you're ready for some exercise, walking and hiking trails for all skill levels can be accessed from Hearthstone's front door. You'll never leave sight of the mountains as you walk the neighborhood roads, or if you want more of a challenge you can access private trail heads into Rocky Mountain National Park or Roosevelt National Forest for endless hiking possibilities. Hike to Sprague Lake, Estes Cone, Alberta Falls, Lily Mountain, Lily Lake or summit Teddy's Teeth at Rams Horn Mountain without ever hopping in a vehicle or needing a Timed Entry Pass!
