With floor-to-ceiling windows, numerous skylights, and neutral color scheme, this home offers scenic views of Bald Mountain with plenty of natural light. You will enjoy an open floor plan with cathedral ceilings and rows of windows bringing the outdoors indoors. Luxurious comfort is provided on the leather sofa and loveseat surrounding a stone wood-burning fireplace and TV with DVD player and cable. You'll dine like royalty on a dark oak dining table with padded, carved chairs for 8 plus a matching hutch. Chefs will love the large kitchen with ceramic tile floor, skylights, electric range, microwave oven, side-by-side refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, toaster, toaster, oven, and air fryer. They'll also find loads of counter and storage space, a food pantry, and seating for 3 along a counter. With a wrought iron table and padded chairs for 6, a glassed-in sunroom off the kitchen provides a perfect place for dining and overlooking the garden.
The master bedroom is located on the main level and features a king bed, large dresser with mirror, TV, and private bath with large garden tub, separate shower, and double sink vanity. A second bedroom on the main level also has a king bed, large dresser with mirror, end tables with reading lamps, and adjacent full bath with tub/shower. Upstairs is a loft bedroom with king bed, TV, bookshelves with a large selection of reading materials, private bath with shower, and windows offering panoramic mountain views. A 4th bedroom downstairs has a queen bed, queen sleeper sofa, sitting area, TV, private bath with shower, and a full size washer and dryer. French doors from the lower level lead to an outside patio overlooking the garden.
There is wireless internet for those who wish to stay connected, and a gas griddle for cookouts.

From the very beginning, our host, Sheri, was very attentive and pro-active. We asked for a few things and received them immediately. As we cooked almost every night, this house was stocked with everything we needed from spices to pots and pans to place settings. There was so much space for our family of 6 and two dogs. There was a large dining room table and another large table in the sunroom, which we used for playing games (which were also abundant at this house). There were plenty of gates to keep the dogs corralled and happy, and also a dog park available (which we did not use). The sunrise reflecting off the mountain in the morning was breath taking. We also took full advantage of pickleball, the pool, hot tub, and sauna. We, unfortunately, did not have time for this resort's other offerings including corn hole, basketball, mini-golf, weight room and exercise classes. The location was also perfect for a quick trip and hike to Chimney Rock and Asheville. The Catawba Falls River and Ridge loop (Pisgah National Forest) was absolutely beautiful as was the Hickory Nut Falls trail in Chimney Rock State Park. We would absolutely highly recommend this wonderful house. I REALLY miss their sunroom!!

Casa DiBello is like Mary Poppins- Perfect in every way! Ms. Sheri has everything of everything need to make it a home away from home. Plenty of space for the family to stretch out and relax- Wonderful views- We definately will be coming back for a visit.

Great home stocked with lots of goodies! The house was cozy, comfortable! We loved it! We mentioned a nice propane fire pit on deck would have been perfect; however, the home accommodated 10 of us nicely!

Family Vacation at Lake Lure

Nice House, Lots of room for the 7 of us. Well stocked with condiments, dishes, pots & pans, etc. Communication with the owner was very good. The resort area was really nice. We enjoyed the lake & the pool. Be aware that you may lose internet up there from time to time and evidently being in the middle of the mountains cell phone coverage is very limited. There is more coverage as you go down to the Rumbling Bald Resort area which is really close. We enjoyed our stay there and hope to go back again in the future!

Lake Lure

There is no way any house there is only 1/2 mile from the center. And, something I counted on that goes to the advertising from Lake Lure itself: the bar on the beach is in a tent, and has cans... Everyone had lots to do!

Very comfortable in a beautiful area.

Sherri was very responsive and professional. The area is beautiful and we enjoyed exploring nearby towns. The home is comfortable, clean and well equipped. It accommodated our group easily. While we were there we did have trouble with a broken screen door that we couldn't close and a leaking roof. I think this house is a good value and we felt very comfortable. I would describe it as rustic and not luxurious, however the area is beautiful and you will have everything you need.

This home was large enough to accommodate. It was comfortable for all. It was convenient to all the ammenities. Make sure you get the door code and not a key that does not fit ,, Trying to get in in the pouring rain and had to go back to guest services and found someone who knew what they were doing and got the door code.

Spacious & Accommodating

Sheri was a great host. She was quick to respond to my questions and gave a lot of great information on things to do around town. Ingles is the grocery store she recommended and it did not disappoint. The house was spacious just as described, with 3 floors, 4 bathrooms, and 4 king-size beds. The decor was dated (like Dirty Dancing Era) but overall very tastefully done. The kitchen was my favorite part of the house. There really is everything in there needed to cook and host. We made a whole Thanksgiving dinner and didnā€™t need anything from home except our turkey fryer and flavor injector. I wasnā€™t a huge fan of the bed we slept in but I prefer softer beds so take that with a subjective grain of salt. The house could have used a thorough dusting and mopping but other than that was very clean. The house was close to the lake and to Chimney Rock which had a bunch of cute little gift shops and things to do. Overall, this was a great experience and the house is really perfectly laid out for multiple families. If I get the chance to visit Lake Lure again, I would absolutely stay here and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone considering the area. Sheri - thank you for your hospitality and opening your home to us. We loved every minute of our stay.

Casa DiBello

Casa DiBello was a perfect fit for our family vacation. The amenities at the Rumbling Bald resort were a nice addition. Cell phone service was virtually nonexistent throughout the area. Fortunately the property had good WiFi.

A Wonderful Christmas

This was a central location for our small family to get together for Christmas. The home was very nice and spacious with a beautiful view. We had everything we needed and the area had a lot to offer. Thank you for the opportunity to stay there.

Wonderful Mountain Home!!!

This home was all that we expected and more. The floor plan was perfect for all to spread out and afford a lot of comfort for all. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything you could want . The owner was very attentive and helpful. She provided a lot of information about her home and the surrounding area. Her responses were very timely and attentive. The only problem we had was at the gate as my name had not been given to the guard but after presenting my email correspondence all was well. We loved this home and hope to return next summer.

This is my vacation home. I fell in love with this beautiful Mountain Lake setting in Lake Lure. The amenities of Rumbling Bald are perfect to host family and friends. I live and grew up in Sarasota, Florida where I owned a Consignment and Bridal Shoppe. I am now retired as of December 2019.

There are many activities within the community, such as: water skiing, swimming, fishing, boating, tennis, golf, putt-putt golf, outdoor games, hiking, kayaking, SUP boards and the fine art of relaxing. There is a sports bar/restaurant called Legends on the Lake less than a 1/2 mile from the house!
