This place was a perfect location for us on our trip. The views were to die for. The unit was really cute with everything we needed. The owner was really nice and accommodating. To have use of a parking space was incredible for this area. Everything you need is very close distance from the unit. Restaurants, coffee, boutiques and much more were within walking distance. We will definitely stay again when we come back to the area.

Overall we were happy with the place. Parking was a bit difficut at times but wouldn't keep me from staying again when we're in the area.

Great stay at Manhattan Beach

We enjoyed a news-free week living on the Strand, watching surfers & listening to the Pacific Ocean. Apartment was accurately listed, had all we needed in kitchen, comfy bed & w/d---along w/ the beautiful view and peace & quiet. Owner responded right away when we had a few questions. We plan to return.

Beach lovers paradise

The property is on the strand overlooking the beach. It’s has a wonderful outdoor area with a hot tub and a fire pit. Ideal for sunset views. Thumbs up to the host John and his vacation home. We’ll definitely be booking again.

Best ever

We have stayed at many many short term rentals and this was the best ever. John, our host, is phenomenal. The condo was extremely well stocked and John is a great guy. Highly recommend.

Great location

Everything was clean and the owner was prompt and attentive. I accidentally put my car in a ditch and he took care of everything to get me out and safely on my way. I will absolutely stay there again. I already miss the dolphins!!

Wonderful beach getaway!

Our stay at this rental was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we booked, our hosts were incredibly responsive, always quick to answer any questions we had. The property was beautifully equipped with everything one could need for a perfect beach retreat or a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of L.A. The amenities were top-notch, including a grill, fire pit, fully stocked kitchen, beach chairs, umbrella, and even body and surfboards. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the breathtaking sunsets from the patio were a highlight of our visit. We loved watching the surfers and dolphins play in the waves right from the comfort of our patio. Overall, this rental offered a clean, safe, and peaceful haven that perfectly balanced relaxation with adventure. We can't wait to return for another stay and highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for the ultimate beach getaway!

PERFECT location, nice unit and wonderful owner

Great place to stay in Manhattan Beach. Right on the strand and to the entrance of the bike path. John was an amazing host and made sure we had everything we needed. Quiet area and only a little over a mile to the main shopping area and right in front of the surf break. If we head back to Manhattan Beach we will definitely stay at John's apartment. He has another unit next door that has a hot tub, queen bed and fire pit but our unit had a king and a fire pit. Parking is easy and John has beach cruisers that we were able to borrow. Kitchen well stocked and the appliances were all nice and in good working condition. A+

WOW!!!

It's always refreshing when the expectation based on photographs is met. What a gorgeous view and great location! You literally can't get any closer to the beach. The unit is very cozy and well decorated. Everything was comfortable - the couch, the bed, the bathroom - and the patio was awesome! It's perfect for people-watching and enjoying the beautiful weather. And as someone who likes to travel with her pugs, I was very appreciative they could come along as well. The neighborhood is fun and friendly during the day and quiet and peaceful at night. The parking situation is a little tricky if you have a large vehicle but having a designated spot so close is a lifesaver. Had a minor issue with ants but I know John will take care of it asap. John's communication was great, especially via text. Tons of info on parking, wifi set up, and even restaurant recommendations within walking distance. (Pancho's is the bomb!) I would love to stay there again sometime.

Manhattan beach @ the strand beach front.

First off we loved our stay here.Open your door and enjoy amazing views, well maintained sandy beaches, ocean view all around. A Walking path that runs along the backside of the property goes on for miles. Sounds of the waves at night put you to sleep like a baby. Lots and i mean lots of outdoor activites are available withing steps of your door step go walking, running, biking, beach volleyball courts, boogie board and surfboard rental a few steps down the beach or just lounge on the patio with amazing views. Very comfortable bed and plenty of soft pillows. T.v in the living room with Netflix and Roku to watch t.v at night. Bbq grill on the patio, made some killer Ribeyes on there while enjoying the ocean view. Neighborhood is super quiet at night and cant say enough about the owner John who was so accommodating(brought us bikes to ride and even salt and pepper for our steaks i forgot to buy at the store) and so helpful in recommendations to restaurants to grocery stores and a great man just to hold a conversation with. Also has plenty of towels and even many types of shampoos and conditioners to body wash readily available stocked in the bathroom. Kitchen has plenty of dishware/plates and utensils available to use also. Lots of good restaurants and other key businesses located with in a few blocks of easy waking. Parking is tight at any beach, or beach front property and this isnt any different we moved the car only a few times. Large Truck/Suv gonna be a super tight fit.
