It was a wonderful place to relax after long days of hiking around the area. The cabin’s spaciousness and upscale bathrooms were great, and the sauna was a nice perk. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glassware and utensils, and having a full-size washer and dryer was appreciated.

We very much enjoyed our stay at your beautiful house, August 3-7. It was clean, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed. The setting in the woods was peaceful and quiet. Our son loved the cute little guest cabin! We had a good time exploring Glacier NP, hiking some trails and driving the absolutely gorgeous Going -to-the -Sun Road. We also enjoyed seeing the wildlife- many goats, sheep, marmots and one black bear that ran across the road. Thank you for the use of your lovely home; hope to return in the future!

It has always been my goal and intent to leave a property somehow cleaner than it was on arrival. Not possible this time. I’ve just never figured out how to improve upon perfection! The only problem we had was that the property was so comforting and so beautiful that people didn’t want to leave it in order to visit the park—our reason for renting it in the first place! As our week was drawing to an end, talk turn to a discussion of “squatters’ rights.” If we refused to leave, could we stay forever?Thank you for making this past week so much more memorable than we had any right to expect. May God bless you and all who have the privilege of visiting this extraordinary property in the future.

Peaceful cabin in the woods

Our group of 5 adult family members had a lovely visit to glacier using this as home base. The little guest cabin and the main cabin accommodated us all with plenty of space and privacy. The kitchen was large and well appointed for much cooking and gathering. Wrap around covered porch and grounds were so peaceful. Bedding was very nice!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the mountain cabin. It’s very secluded, quiet and peaceful. It is well decorated and fully equipped, including the kitchen, for everything one needs. Check in was very easy, a door code. The host was readily available. We had deer greet us every morning as we had coffee on the very large outside seating area. I would love to come back for another stay sometime

Thank you!. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay at our lovely retreat in the mountains! And that the deer greeted you each morning. They love the place! We would love for you to return and vacation again at this peaceful and quiet property where the deer abound! I gave you a score of 5 on all categories, but for some reason my finger slipped and one category ended up being a 4. I tried to correct it but the computer wouldn't let me. Sorry that happened but please know the intention was 5. Nancy

This cabin is beautiful, very clean, and situated in a perfect spot. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are lovely (awesome showers). The communication with the host could have been better—we messaged with a question the morning of our arrival and didn’t hear back until the next day. Also, there was no letter or information packet in the cabin itself, which I think goes a long way to make people feel welcome and comfortable in a place they’ve never been before (things like where to put recycling if there is one, where the grocery stores are, recommendations for small businesses to patronize, etc.). It’s not a huge deal, but something for the host to consider. But the property itself is really beautiful and was spotlessly clean when we arrived, and the location is great. I would definitely recommend it to people and would stay again!

We loved most everything about it. The only thing was the temperature. At night the house was too warm, like 78 degrees with the air running. That is not a good sleeping temperature. Even with the bedroom window open, it would not cool down. The floor was very warm in the 1st floor bedroom. Is the floor heated? I had to go into the living room and sleep on the sofa under the fan to be able to sleep. Our son slept in the cottage, he thinks there should be a curtain on the door window for more privacy, but he really like it.My husband thinks a new large frying pan would be helpful. Everything sticks to the one that is there. But over all our stay was great. We loved the location and the privacy. The house is beautiful, clean and well kept.

Thank you Cindy for your response. Do you remember what temp the AC was set at? I am wondering if a previous guest set it at 78 and that's why it stayed at 78. If it was set at 72 for example and then stayed at 78 that is then a different issue. Any info you can give us on this would be helpful. Thanks. I will speak with the cleaner regarding the frying pans. Thanks for the information. Other than that I'm pleased you enjoyed your vacation and that you appreciated the privacy and liked the cabin.
