Nice convenient stay with great top deck view

We enjoyed our stay at this house, especially after Isaias struck and we were still safe and able to stay afterwards and didn't have to be evacuated. We felt safe. The house was big enough for all six of us and spacious enough for a rainy day. The kitchen table could have been a little bigger! The walk to the beach was no more than 2 minutes, so it couldn't have been more convenient. We also enjoyed watching the moon and stars every night from the top deck, definitely a big plus. The only thing I would really have to criticize (even though there was no problem during our stay) was the fact that we were not told there were people living in the basement. I felt like that should have been said before we got there as this was as surprise for us when we pulled up. While we didn't need more space than what we had booked and there was privacy on the top deck (it did not have to be shared), we still felt like it would have been important information that should have been disclosed before arrival. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay!

Good value

Not extravagant, but had everything we needed for a good family vacation. Six of us stayed here comfortably. It’s nice and cozy and the beds are decent. It has a well equipped kitchen. Just a short stroll from the beach. The location makes this rental a good value and I would stay here again.

Excellent Location

Awesome deck view where we enjoyed the fireworks. Short walk to the beach. Pay attention to the wording that this is a triplex with tenants below and a shared driveway. Initially I was very worried about this, but there were no issues. I would definitely rent again.

A quick get-a-away vacay!

Our family and visiting family had a great time in this beautiful place. We felt so peaceful being close to the water. My daughter brought her hammock and placed it under the beautiful shady trees in the back. She had a great time. We also enjoyed the lovely scenery from the top deck. Overall, we all great an awesome experience.

This house was perfect. Less than 100 yards to the beach where we were some of the only people there. Stores are just right down the road. Will definitely be coming back.

Highly Recommended!

We enjoyed this property very much and would definitely rent it again should we decide to go to Oak Island again in the future. It is nice, clean and comfortable, fully stacked kitchen ETC. Everything was working good and the view on the upper deck is really great. I can highly recommended this property to anyone seeking a nice, trouble free place to stay.
