Exceptional Location!!! Short two minute walk to the beach, Oak Island Pier and beach front restaurants! Families love it!

Sleeps 10 ~ 3 Bedrooms/ 2.5 Baths: (2) King, (1) Queen beds, (1) Set of Bunks, (1) Daybed with trundle and futons. WiFi internet. Large flat screen TV in LR with DVD theater sound system. TV's have Roku with Spectrum Cable. Well equipped kitchen with large open counter w/bar stools. Dining room has a large six chair table. Open living area has plenty of seating with full couch and three singles. Natural oak tree shaded Carolina room on front of home with additional table and chairs. Master bath has a Jacuzzi tub and both levels have decking to enjoy the outdoors. Garage with ping pong table. Additional refrigerator located in ground floor laundry room. Outdoor shower, outdoor gas BBQ grill.

Home is less than one block from the ocean with direct beach handicap access at the end of the street. Right around the corner just a block away is the Oak Island Pier that offers fishing and a tackle/gift shop. Seaside restaurants, Lazy Turtle, Ruby's Coffeeshop and Koko Cabana, are at the end of our street as well! << NO PETS ALLOWED. NO SMOKING. >> Nightly rentals available with 3 Night Min. ~ Summer, 7 day weekly rentals only ~ Saturday to Saturday.

Cute & Cozy

Great property, nice sized rooms and kitchen, lovely location close to the beach and walkable to local shops. Clean and tidy! Hosts provided easy check in/check out and have some helpful info about the area. Our family enjoyed our stay!

Get away for a week

We had such a good time at Oak Island. The house is very clean. It was centrally located. We were literally close to everything from a walk down the street to the beach to restaurants around the corner. Highly recommend it and plan on staying there again next year.

True to its name, a hideaway in paradise! Our two families love coming to Oak Isalnd and have stayed at this house on 3 occasions. House is roomy and fits our 5 teenagers well. Love the front screened in porch to play games and sit and drink morning coffee. Location is perfect, as well as the sunsets. Looking forward to our next visit.

Great location

Enjoyed the easy walk to the beach. When not on the beach, we enjoyed the sunroom. Great location for restaurants and shopping and wonderful area.

Wonderful trip and accommodations were just as wonderful. Master bedroom bed was heavenly. Water pressure in showers etc was perfect. Short walk to beach access and fishing pier so no need to take car and park. Skipped the daily parking fee. Would stay again def.

Lovely place for family.

My extended family truly loved this house and it’s proximity to the beach. It fit us all nicely with room to spare. Especially loved the extra large dining room table for big family dinners!

Family trip

This property suited our family well.We loved the porch but had trouble keeping it cool(a minisplit air conditioner would help). Property needs attention to exterior paint. Kitchen was well-appointed and loved that the beds were made when we arrived. Convenient to beach and restaurants. We would rent this property again.

We really enjoyed our stay. This property is in the perfect location. Steps away from the beach access and a short drive to everything you need. Also, it accommodates 4 adults well, was clean and comfortable as well. Perfect house in which we’ll use again next year.

Peaceful Retreat

We enjoyed our stay. The property was as described and just a short walk to the beach/pier. The home is well maintained and stocked with all the necessities, which made our stay comfortable and fun. We appreciated the information about the island we received from the property owner before our stay. We will stay here again.

Family vacation

House was a good size, owners had it stocked with all kinds of things to make the stay more enjoyable. Location to the beach was excellent, just a short easy walk. Quite street, but walking distance to a few food locations. Owners were very quick to respond to communication with us during our stay. Would definitely rent here again.

Perfect getaway

We really enjoyed this house. We fished in the morning and we could walk to the pier. They had fresh cut flowers waiting on us. They pay attention to the minor details. We would definitely stay there again.

Back again!

This is our second year staying at “A Hideaway in Paradise” as a family and it did not disappoint. The location to the beach is great and a quick easy walk. The house has all the amenities you need for a beach vacation, whether it be to relax in the sunroom or pack up the beach card for a fun day on the beach.Brenda is a great host and makes sure you feel at home.

Everything it says it is

Had a great time. The house was perfect. It even smelled good! Love the sun porch, the weather was amazing. We went to sweet treats for ice cream, delicious. Also Castcucci's for honestly the best italian food ever! Location to beach is literally 5 min walk. Easy beach acces too! Would love to stay here again.

Super location

Wonderful house. Beautifully decorated and everything you could possibly need. I was worried about the distance from the house to the beach (lazy children lol) but it was so much closer than I thought. Lots of close places to walk to eat or shop. This place is def going on my places that I will be back to. The owners were amazing to check in on me too. Thanks so much for sharing your home with me and my family

Another Great Stay

This is our 4th time staying in the White's home and it was another great stay! As always, the home was clean and had plenty of room for our family of 8. It was nice to see a few upgrades including a very comfy king size bed upstairs and laundry baskets in each bedroom. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you might need and the downstairs ping pong table was a hit this year. The home is within walking distance to Oak Island pier, Ruby's Coffee Shop Koko Cabanas, Swain's, Nancy Jo's Bakery and many shops. You can't go wrong with a stay on Keziah Street and with A Hideaway in Paradise.

Best Vacation I Have Taken My Family On At Oak Island!

Throughout the rental process to include the many communication we received, I can testify that what I and my family was lead to believe about the property was 100% correct! The house was amazing and the management team that took care of us exceeded our expectations! These guys and gals are professionals that have integrity and ethical beliefs which explains why they are able to provide great family vacations homes. We, my family, are already planning our next vacation at is Oak Island and we plan on renting this home again if it is available!

Best Family Beach Week!

Our family had a wonderful week! This house was perfect for our family. It was close to be the beach and pier. We walked every morning to set up ! The house was very spacious, clean and had EVERYTHING we needed. We loved the kitchen and cooked great meals and served them at the huge dining room table. At night some of us played cards and board games in the comfortable sun room! The house was big enough that everyone could do their own thing! The owners of this house thought of everything. Outdoor grill, outdoor s hower, beach toys and chairs if needed… wonderful comfortable beds and sofas in the den… We can’t say enough about this house! We could not have been more pleased! We hope to be able to visit Oak Island again and stay in this home!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

My family and friends had a wonderful long weekend in OKI. The property was spacious and met all our needs. The easy favorite spot for adults and teens alike was the garage with the ping pong table! The sunroom and decks were also favorite spots. We loved being a short walk from the beach which meant everyone could come and go as they pleased. The early October weather couldn't have been more beautiful. We enjoyed spending our days on the beach and our evenings fishing on the pier, chasing crabs on the beach and of course playing ping pong in the garage. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Family getaway

Nothing but positive reviews for a Hideaway in Paradise! This is our fifth stay at Oak Island and by far this has been our favorite home! The Homeowners were very easy to work with and answered my questions quickly. The location is great! Very short walk to beach access and Yaupon pier. The street was quiet and the neighbors were very friendly. The home was very clean and well stocked with everything you could need for a perfect stay. We had 8 adults and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The kitchen had everything we needed and all 8 of us fit around the dining room table. We look forward to future stays at A Hideaway in Paradise.

Family Stay

Once again, all we have is positive reviews of our stay. The Whites are wonderful to work with and their home is perfect for our family Christmas getaway. As soon as we walk in the front door we feel like we are returning home. Oak Island has become like our second home and Keziah street is our favorite! We travel with our parents and adult children and we always have enough room for everyone. Anything and everything you could need to fix a meal is right at your fingertips. My favorite part, beside quick access to the pier, is the large dining room table that allows us all to eat together. We look forward to our next stay! Thank you!

Home Away from Home

I am writing this review on the ride home. This is our second time renting from the White’s and each time I leave a little of my heart on Keziah St. A Hideaway in Paradise is perfect for our family Christmas getaway. The house is very clean, well stocked and convenient to the Pier, restaurants and shopping. The neighbors are friendly and always greet me with a smile and hello. There is plenty of room for everyone to spread out and be comfortable. The homeowners are quick to respond and a pleasure to work with. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us and we look forward to our next stay!

Oak Island is the perfect get away and once you get there, you will feel like you're miles away from your everyday routine. Oak Island is a very low key - peaceful - relaxing location. We love the quiet serenity of our home's location on the tidal waterways on a North Carolina's barrier island. 200 yards to the beach is the perfect distance, and 2 miles to the local marina is also perfect access to the inter-coastal waterway, and a lot of good restaurants and bars. The new 'second' bridge to Oak Island opened in November 2010, which provides easy access to over 50 great golf courses in the North Myrtle Beach area.

This is our family vacation home and we spent many happy years enjoying it together as a family. Now, we want to share our house and our beach with you and your family. We want you to have as much fun and make as many memories at Oak Island as we have during the years. Enjoy!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Our beach is not a crowded you may have to share it with the occasional sand crab, sea turtle nest, pelican or seagull! Plenty of seashells to collect and sunrises and sunsets to be seen. We always made our vacations about family and we hope you do as well.
