OUTDOOR ADVENTURES AWAIT
Bring your boat or use the provided kayak and canoe to explore Indian River Bay. Holts Landing State Park is just 3 miles away and offers a boat ramp, fishing pier, picnic areas, fire pit, playground, and excellent spots for clamming and crabbing. Or enjoy a beach day—Bethany Beach is just a short drive away! Fenwick Island State Park is a dog-friendly ocean paradise with a bathhouse.

COMFORTABLE & WELL-EQUIPPED
The open-concept layout features a bright living room with a 65" TV and a spacious kitchen fully equipped with everything you need to cook at home. Enjoy your meals indoors or out on the large back deck. Grocery stores and restaurants are nearby.

• Hair dryer, antibacterial hand soaps, 2 rolls of TP, and 1 roll of paper towels
• Large & small coolers
• Fishing rods & reels, crab pots, clam rakes, surf rod holders

PET-FRIENDLY
We welcome up to 2 dogs or cats (with a $50 pet fee). Please clean up after your pets to help us keep the space healthy and enjoyable for all guests.

NEW BUILD
The Occupancy permit was granted in June 2025. Thus, Google Earth, or other virtual globe applications, may not display the house. I have requested Google Earth to update its imagery.

Kick back, relax, and enjoy everything the bay and beach have to offer.

Please note that this house is not wheelchair accessible.

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Place all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start it. Throw all leftover food in the garbage. Place all garbage (in bags) and recycling in the proper bins on the deck.
Gather all used towels/linens and place in the laundry room. Place (2) bedroom air conditioning remotes (slide open) on nightstands. Place (2) TV Remotes at the base of the TV.
Turn bedroom air conditioners off. Set the living room air conditioner to 80. Shut ALL windows. Lock ALL doors.

Beautiful home! It gave a mountain type feeling which I love. Yet so close to the beach and plenty of stores.Pet friendly which is great! We brought our dog on vacation this year for the first time. Plenty of space in the home so we could fit his crate for when we went out.The home is very clean and has a really nice layout.I would definitely stay here again. The host is attentive and is very kind. If you like the beach but also prefer a quieter place to retreat, this is it.Thank you again for sharing your home with my family.

4th of July Getaway

This house was perfect for our family of 4 and our puppy. The house was super clean and fully stocked with everything we would need and more. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, and even on a holiday weekend, the beach was only a short drive away! We will definitely be back!

Great location, great property

Stay was great! We had ample space for 5 people and my dog. It's seated in a nice quiet neighborhood. Communication was very good. We had a lot of fun. Would recommend.

The house was beautiful and very clean. It was spacious enough for our family of 4 and 2 dogs. We did have some trouble with our air conditioning in a bedroom and the host went out of her way (like 6 hour drive) to come and help us resolve the situation. She was very helpful, understanding and accommodating!

Thank you for leaving the house so clean—you were a wonderful guest! I wanted to clarify the situation with the air conditioning in the Family Room so future guests have the full context. Unfortunately, the A/C unit broke the week before your stay. I had my HVAC team out right away, but they needed to order a part to complete the repair. In the meantime, they supplied a portable unit that was tested and working. However, during your stay, the portable unit began tripping the circuit breaker. I made the six-hour drive to meet my HVAC technician, and he provided a smaller replacement unit that functioned properly for the remainder of your visit. To help make up for the inconvenience, I also issued a $200 refund. I’m including this information so that future reviewers have a complete and accurate understanding of the situation. I hope you consider renting with me again. All my best to you!

Perfect space for our weekend getaway!

Suzanne’s home was perfect for us and our 2 dogs. The bedrooms are spacious which let us set up a pack & play for our baby. The home had everything we needed. Appliances seemed new, as well as most things. The only downside was there wasn’t somewhere to just let our dogs out to potty, I did have to walk them around but the neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed our morning walks around. The house is about 15-20 minutes from Bethany Beach. Suzanne was very responsive and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing Retreat is a perfect name for this home as it sits away from the hustle and bustle of the busy beach towns, but close enough to be at several hot spots within minutes. The home is well appointed with all the necessities as well as some bonus activity items. Everything was clean and orderly, and communication with the host was effortless and efficient.

Very clean/new property. Stayed with family including young child and dog. Easy to maneuver large crib and luggage in/out and around the house. Backyard was nice for the dog to explore and friendly neighborhood. Kitchen fully stocked, plenty of all the necessary supplies. Back patio was also great and comfortable to hang out on. Grill looked brand new but did not use. Check in/out very easy and simple.
