Fabulous Home on "Togus Pond," a lake for boats, kayaks, fishing, swimming and other water sports. This home sits right on the water's edge and offers spectacular views from most rooms. It's like being on a houseboat without the floating. A perfect place for an adult getaway or vacation with the children. The home is pristine, comfortable and outfitted with modern amenities. There are two bedrooms situated on opposite sides of the one-story house, an enclosed sun room and private dock. Bring your own boat, kayak or our row boat and a Kayak that we can make available at no additional charge The coastal town of Belfast Maine is only 39 miles from this home

Lakeview heaven

This is our second year and our plan is to come annually. We have lived in Maine our entire life but relocated to Alabama 5 yrs ago so our family is here. Just so happen to find this place last year and it is just the right size for my husband and I and our grandchildren to come over and enjoy the lake. They love to fish!!!

Beautiful view peaceful and quiet

Loved the peacefulness and the view. My grandchildren loved the idea they were able to kayak, boat and lots of fishing. The home had everything you needed. Thank you so much we will be back!!!!!

Very nice lake front location.

This home was perfect for for our 3 day fishing trip to the Belgrades. Centrally located near Great Pond, Long Pond, China Lake, and only 10 minutes to downtown Augusta stores and resturuants. House is right on Togus Pond with a beautiful sun room and lake views. Would definitley stay again.

Fantastic place to stay

This is the second year in a row we have rented from Sue. Place is exactly what we need. Close to where we wanted to be, Hallowell, boothbay. Clean spacious accommodations. Two bathrooms a plus. Great communication. Would rent again.

Togus Pond stay

My son and I stayed here while on a two day fishing trip with a local guide. House had everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay. This is the second time we have stayed here, Togus is a nice little lake. Also very close to other lakes and downtown restaurants. Would come back again. JM

Great fishing week!

I loved this house on the lake! Everything was clean and as documented. Bed was very comfortable and it was a plus to have cable in the evening as I see that typically from VRBO rentals. Didn't see any neighbors while I was there and was very quiet.

Staycation.

The property was very nice with the exception visitors parking. Today's double cabs have a hard time turning around in the allotted space. Very comfortable living space. Air in all rooms. ( Which was needed). The dock was very nice and the boat availability was great! The water was deep and rocky but not a problem for my grandkids.( life jackets or floaters suggested) . The bathrooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable.

Everything we needed and wanted

The property had excellent water access and the fishing was fantastic. The home was very comfortable, especially the sunroom. Plenty of places to hang inside and out. Having two bathrooms was a great asset. It was really nice to have full Internet and large screen televisions. The air conditioning was excellent.

The view was wonderful! The accommodations were as described. The house though was not very clean. There were cobwebs, fingerprints on the windows & lots of stains on the rugs. I should have taken pics but I didn’t. Unfortunately, if we were going to be in this area again we would not choose to stay there. We did however make the mistake of one cars backing up on the neighbor’s driveway & got our host in trouble. She was very clear about the instructions of not doing that, we apologized for that. We feel sorry for her with her ridiculous neighbor.

Fantastic place to stay! Going to try to book for next year to make sure we get it!

There is nothing negative at all! beautiful, spacious, clean, well equipped vacation home! Washer and dryer were a nice plus. Two bathrooms make it perfect! Tv and even a computer. Close to where we needed to be and a quiet area. Just perfect. Communication with owners was swift! I really have nothing bad to say at all.

Very quit this time of year. Property nice clean homey place, we loved it. Moon out over the pond was gorgeous and then the sun of the pond was great. Loved it.

Ironman Maine

We had a lovely stay at this property. Was happy to see that the pictures portraying it on a nice lake (much larger than what we know to be a pond!) with a dock were very accurate! My husband really enjoyed the fishing! The one less than 5 rating on cleanliness was due to a few dead flies when we got there and the impression that the house is just a bit outdated. We had trouble with the cable TV which the owners helped trouble shoot over the phone and we could not get the grill to work which was a bit disappointing, This being said, the place was just right for us and we would certainly stay here again next year if we decide to do this ironman again! Thank you very much!

Breath taking Views

The property overlooked Togus pond which is beautiful and we heard loons every evening. Water is very deep for non-swimmers and small children. Fish were caught from the dock. It is centrally located to several ocean areas.

Family fun on Togus Pond

The home is clean and is just as advertised. The owner allows use of a row boat and kayak. Togus pond offers a wonderful fishing experience. Many good sized small & large mouth bass, croppy were caught. Others enjoyed swimming right off he dock. There is a picnic table and 2 chairs & small fire pit outside. Recommend a few more relaxing patio chairs for listening to loons, watching eagles and enjoying outdoor time.(we did bring our own which worked out well) Indoors has many amenities: air conditioning, fans, TV's, washer/dryer & plenty of sleeping options. We all enjoyed our stay!
