Enjoy sunsets, kayaking, and the access to Ninigret Pond at this Charlestown beach house. Launch kayaks into the pond at end of street & paddle your way to popular sandbar and beaches. Short drive to local area beaches. Enjoy the water views from the large wrap around deck or from the comfortable living room. This beach house has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 6. Beach Pass to Charlestown Town Beach and Blue Shutters Beach is included! This is a beautiful area to enjoy the pond, or a short drive to the numerous beaches, watch wildlife, or take a short drive to Narragansett, or a 30 minute drive to scenic Newport or Mystic. This house in Charlestown has so much to offer for your summer vacation ... family daytime activities around the beach and pond (fishing, kayaking, clamming, or just relaxing) and gorgeous evening sunsets. Fantastic restaurants as well. House is now fully air conditioned in all bedrooms!

Enjoyable stay

We needed two houses for our large family trip to Charlestown and this location was great. A quiet neighborhood with close access to Charlestown Beach and all the attractions in the area- Newport, Westerly, Point Judith. The house was clean and comfortable and our communications ahead of time were seamless. Thank you!

Quiet, beautiful location in Charlestown

My wife and I had a delightful stay in Charlestown at Terry and Brenda home. It is in a quiet neighborhood of well kept homes with gorgeous views from the deck right outside the dinning room door. Kayaks available for use. We used this ideal location to go to the Charlestown beach, Newport, Jamestown and points south (Essex, CT). We recommend to those looking for a relaxing week away.

House does not accommodate several adults

We rented a home stating we had 4 or 5 adults. The house does not accommodate 4 or 5 adults with the bedroom bathroom set up. The hosts should have indicated this when we rented this property 6 months ago. Members of our party had to move to another location for the week. We have been renting there for 20 years and never had an issue with the accommodations not meeting what was needed for the rental. Very disappointing.

As Promised

The home and its owners delivered on all fronts! The street is pristine and beautiful, in a spacious and quiet yard, by far the most relaxing place we’ve stayed in RI. The house itself is deceptively large and provided plenty of space for our family of mom and dad, 2 teen boys, plus a friend. The views are spectacular from the wraparound porch, as are the sounds of birds surrounding you. Be sure to get the kayaks out early enough to see the sunset! Beach passes to Blue Shutters (my favorite) are a bonus. Thank you, Terry and Brenda, for being great hosts of a very special place.

Wonderful and clean house

We loved our stay here , the house was very comfortable for my husband and I and our 3 young boys . We loved the wrap around deck with the the view and got to watch fireworks over 4th July week from the deck , the neighborhood was really nice and peaceful and the house has a good location with easy access to highways as we made day trips to Newport and Providence . House was very clean and comfortable beds.

Charlestown Beach Getaway

Can’t say enough about this property. The house was immaculate and in a great location close to everything. I am a native of RI and live out west and have been coming home for beach and family time for years. This is by far the best place my family has stayed at over the years. The home has everything you need for your stay. Terry and Brenda are awesome couple and communicate everything you will need for your stay. Looking forward already for next year.. I would highly recommend this home for your vacation no matter what the season. Keith B

My favorite vacation house ever! Quiet, private community with dock access. Great deck for reading, yoga, or anything else you want, always a sea breeze. Running, bike riding, Paddleboarding, or just doing nothing. Interior is spotless and very comfortable!

Great place for our family trip.

The house was very clean, neat, and nicely decorated, which made my wife happy. The owners are very nice and communicated everything we needed before and during our stay. The location on the salt pond is great. We hope to return again next summer.

Great family vacation house

Fabulous home and quiet location. Sunsets and stars with a wide view from a gorgeous three sided deck over looking beautiful fields to the salt water pond beyond. Lots of birds to watch. Very short walk to the dock and boats to watch. This year was our fourth year there and counting!

Great Cottage Near Ninigrit Pond!

We had the perfect vacation thanks to Brenda & Terry’s adorable cottage. Cute neighborhood and short drive to our favorite Charlestown beaches! The porch, yard and outdoor space could not be beat. The open living space was perfect for our family of 6. We would definitely stay again!

Excellent location

Excellent location for quick trips to the beach, kayaking, walking trails. House is sunny and bright and nice and cool after a long day in the sun. Just what are family needed for a week of rest and relaxation.

Idyllic

Quiet, private beautiful home. Very comfortable and clean. Wrap around second floor deck is superb hangout place! This is our third year and we will be back next year. Private dock, many nearby beaches. You could find NO complaints with this lovely place!

Perfect RI getaway

Outstanding experience from beginning to end. There was an issue with one of the kayaks that the owners responded to immediately. The community is very quiet and has very little road activity - this is a strong positive for our family as the adults enjoy the peace and quiet and the neighborhood is very safe for our kids.

Perfect location, perfect sunsets

This is our third year back to this very special property. It is in a lovely quiet neighborhood conveniently located to beaches, shopping and attractions. Highly recommend trying it out!

Beautiful area to relax with family & friends.

Great view off the deck and perfectly located near great restaurants & Charlestown & Blue Shutters/East beach, which had excellent waves! Had a great experience with the owners. An older appliance broke down and Terry & Brenda responded quickly and took care of it by showing up with both a new washer and dryer the next day. Excellent response time and they were flexible with their time to install the appliances during a time that would be least disruptive to us. Kayaking was also fantastic at the water down the road with everything we needed to enjoy that activity safely, since we had never done that before. It was shallow enough for non-swimmers to enjoy! Thank you for a great week in your lovely home😁

AWESOME PLACE

What a wonderful place to spend our family vacation!! The deck is magnificent for just relaxing. Beautiful sunsets and star gazing. Snippets of water views and boats going by. Very comfortable and clean. Very quiet neighborhood. Nice area to walk. Plenty of room for people to relax and comfortable furniture. Brenda was great to work with, and quickly responded to e-mails. We will definitely be back next year!

Nestled next to a huge field with views of the pond, the house is very private, quiet and charming.

The house was spotless and decorated, well, like a beach house. Perfect setting for our week at the 'beach'. We were met by Terry and Brenda, and they were open and welcoming, and stayed just long enough to make us feel that their home was ours. We loved the kayaks and being close to several beaches, and you can't beat the wrap around porch for a nice dinner watching the sun set. This place was great. Thank you.

Very relaxing with great views.

We had a wonderful week at this house. The home has a great view overlooking corn fields and Ninegret pond in the distance. We were treated to a view of the fireworks from the Charlestown seafood festival. The home had everything we needed and is very close to the beach. We will definitely consider renting this home again in the future. Brenda was a pleasure to deal with and was there to meet us when we checked in.

Summer 2023 will be our 7th summer sharing our Charlestown Beach house for weekly or monthly rentals! When the house is not rented we are enjoying the easy access to the beach & kayaking! We furnished the house with a look and feel that we want for ourselves as well as for our guests. We hope everyone who decides to rent will feel the same way. Everyone who has rented has enjoyed their stay and many are repeat guests.

If you are looking for a quiet neighborhood to rent a beach house with easy access to the pond , want to kayak in the best area in Charlestown or go clamming then you won't find a better location than this. The neighborhood area is great for walking, jogging, biking .
