This bright and airy condo has ceramic tile and beachy decor. With new living room furniture! There is a king bed in the oceanfront master bedroom, a queen in the second bedroom, 4 twins (bunk beds) in the third bedroom, and a queen sofa sleeper in the living area. Bedrooms are carpeted; Cable TV in living & all bedrooms. 3 DVD players-living, 2nd and 3rd bedrooms. Ceiling fans in all bedrooms. Unit has full size washer/dryer. RENTAL INCLUDES ALL LINEN, TOWELS TOO. Unit features high speed internet and is located conveniently to pool. This unit is great for families with lots of kids!
Max Occupancy: 8 GUESTS MUST BE 25 OR ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT.

I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful place, clean, made sure we had everything we needed. management was great and very friendly, night 3 the elevator broke but was right back working the next day! I would definitely stay here again!

Great place for a quick get away.

Awesome views of the ocean. Kids got to sleep as long as they wanted in the back rooms. Indoor pool was a nice break when it got a bit too windy.

The property was just what we needed. The location was good too.

Everything was great! We had enough room for the family. The indoor heated pool and hot tub were the main reason we stayed here. Even though the pool was closed a few days, the beach weather was great. The rented linens were plentiful and I thought it was amazing that we even had beach towels too. We would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Family vacation

We have 3 young children. They enjoyed having both indoor and outdoor pools. Bullard Reality is great. We have stayed at Pelican Watch several times and look forward to staying there in the future.

Good place overall

Was a decent place overall however the adult beds were less than desired....like sleeping on a box spring......I suggest new mattresses.....kids room TV was inop

Hi Timothy, we really wish you had brought your concerns up with us while you were here. Maintenance would have been dispatched and your kids could have been enjoying TV all week! Pretty nice older place

We enjoyed the layout - nice tall chairs on the balcony and 1 bedroom being a bunk room. One nit pick would be the baseboards need some cleaning attention and a slow shower drain in the 2nd bathroom - otherwise a good place well out fitted (even a crockpot!). Would stay again. BTW only 2 parking spots per unit FYI.

The facility was nice and well maintained and the value was great!

The value of the room was wonderful. The condo is in need of a few updates; it seems the update is currently in progress as the kitchen and master bath were updated. Despite the need for a little extra deep cleaning, I would definitely come again!

Needs an update

The condo location was perfect. It was in dire need of a good cleaning. Could also use some new furniture. The staff at the realty place was very friendly. Loved that the condo had a washer and dryer.

Loved the view and Carolina Beach!

Pelican Watch was a great place to land to celebrate and spend time with family. View was amazing, and accommodating amenities. Only draw back is a month's wait time for security deposit, which is not customary from other travel experiences. I was assured to receive it in one month's time by check in mail. Otherwise, great experience! Thanks!

Decent overall

Staff was very nice and friendly, easy and fast check in process. The bedrooms were a lot smaller than they looked like online. If you have smaller kids and need room in the bedrooms for pack n plays this is not the place. The beds were not comfortable at all. The view was beautiful and the pool was nice as well. Great location, would probably stay again!

Hi Sommer, We are right across the street and would have loved to have you tell US about the beds. But, now that we and the world know, we have contacted the owners for permission to purchase a new King and Queen, (the bunks are only a couple of years old). So next time you come, you will have comfortable beds:) Have a great year and hope to see you again!

Overall great place to stay

There are a few issues with unit. Sliding door tuff to open and close. But in my experience in traveling to carolina beach over last 15 years. I have encountered this at many locations and I've never complained. The staff was great to deal with and location was great. Pools were great. I would recommend to families that need space.

Pelican Watch 106

Our condo was a bit outdated and there were a few things that were broken, like a closet door and a cabinet door. But it was right on the beach, everyone in our group had their own room. The kitchen was nice and had almost everything we needed, there were only some things we had to bring with us. We loved how centrally located the condo was to pretty much everything in CB, Kure Beach, and we were able to reach the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher and Wilmington within 20 minutes.

Nicole, we are very sorry you didn't find the condo to your liking and we are more sorry you didn't let us know you had issues with the cleaning, we would have had housekeeping there stat to reclean for you. There are cards in each condo with the # to the cleaning company to contact them with issues or comments.

Would not recommend...

Condo was dirty, ceiling looked disgusting from a previous leak, had to kill a few roaches on the balcony and spiders inside. Blinds at both windows only halfway worked. Did not make you feel at home! Would not recommend 1st floor, view of the ocean was horrible! We only stayed 5 nights and paid for 7 nights.

We are sorry we are just now learning that you weren't happy. It's typical to find water bugs OUTSIDE at the beach, which is what you saw and where you saw them. Have you never found a spider in YOUR home? A true picture of the view of condo, taken by a 5'2" photographer was viewed by you before you booked, so you knew the view. The condo was cleaned and inspected by an independent inspector prior to your check in and at check in you were told very pleasantly if you had any needs or concerns to please call us. Had you had cleaning concerns and called us, we would have gladly and quickly taken care of them. Had you reported the blinds were not functioning correctly, we would have sent maintenance over. We work very hard and strive to make your vacation as nice as possible, so in the future, please let whomever you rent from know you have "issues", instead of staying mum and then writing a detrimental review.

Disappointed

Condo needs major updating—carpets old and dirty, lights needed new bulbs, screen doors broken and unusable, furniture needs to be cleaned. Bathrooms and kitchen were updated but overall I wouldn’t recommend this unit. On the plus side—indoor pool in February was a positive and the weather was nice enough to enjoy the ocean. Management company tried its best to alleviate some problems.

Upon your informing me of the carpet, I called the owners. They left the next day, drove 15 hours to come & pick out new flooring. Laminate being installed this Monday, 3//6/23. We are having the screen doors removed, as they no longer make them in that size & with the ocean breeze, very few flying bugs to worry about. Furniture is also scheduled for cleaning. Nice Family Condo

This was a nice vacation spot for the family. There was plenty of room for everyone, and it is in a great location. I would stay here again. This is an older building, and some things could use some updating but overall it's nice. There are some stains on some of the bedding (mattress covers and bed spreads), but we sprayed everything with lysol and microban before putting on the sheets and pillow cases. There was also some hair on a few of the bed spreads when we arrived. It was helpful that there was a washer and dryer in the unit so we could wash the bed spread before using. The pots and pans were functional, but could use some updating. One of the pans was bent and warped, and two of them were dirty (filled with grease) when we took them out the cabinet. The dishwasher could use a deep cleaning. The carpet in the bedrooms is old and dirty with stains that come from use and wear and tear. Could use a deep shampoo or replacing. However, overall a nice place to stay and we will be booking again.
