Charming 3-bedroom riverside cottage in brilliant Tawas City
Located along the Tawas River, just two blocks from Tawas Bay, this tranquil river home combines modern conveniences with all the comforts you expect from a top-tier stay.
The kitchen has an open floor plan into the dining room and living room. This kitchen is well-stocked with everything you’ll need during your stay, including an air fryer, a glass rinser, and a coffee bar, where you can make a pot of coffee, brew a k-cup or a Nespresso pod, craft a cappuccino (etc.), or make a cup of tea.
The pub-style dining room table is typically sized for 6, but can be expanded to sit 8. It is the perfect setting for family dinners, Friendsgiving, or card games.
The living room features a large comfortable couch with a chase component; it can easily sleep two. Additionally, a lazy boy reclining rocker chair can also serve as another sleeping location. A smart TV with a soundbar allows you to watch your favorite shows/movies and listen to your favorite music. The sofa also boasts a great view of the river. Please note: we do not provide a subscription to live TV, but you have the ability to log into your subscriptions.
The First Floor also features:
One bedroom with a queen bed.
A large bathroom with a smart mirror and walk-in shower.
A washer and dryer.
The Second Floor hosts:
Two bedrooms, each with a queen bed.
A half bath.
All bedrooms have a smart TV, a luxury queen mattress, and 750 thread-count Egyptian cotton sheets.
Just outside the living room and dining room, you’ll find the riverside deck, which has a gas-fueled Weber grill. A portion of the deck is covered by a gazebo, adorned with Edison bulb string lights; an outdoor table, along with plenty of chairs allows guests the option of dining al fresco. The deck is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee or wind down with a glass of wine.
The spring and fall are ideal for fishing the river, especially for steelhead and salmon. A fire pit is found riverside. The yard is large enough for games, including corn hole, which is available at your request.
This home is equipped with central air, a Generac (generator), wi-if, a patio heater, home security, and a smart keypad lock.

FOR YOUR INFORMATION:
1. Per Tawas City’s Zoning Ordinance, quiet hours are in effect from 11pm - 7am.
2. No smoking. No exceptions. This includes vaping.
3. No parties.
4. Outdoor cameras are used for security purposes only. There are two riverside cameras, one in the front yard, and a doorbell camera. There are no interior cameras, and none of the outdoor cameras record events inside the house.
PET POLICY:
Dogs only.
$70 nightly fee.
1. Dog(s) allowed by pre-approval only. Please provide details about your dog(s) when booking.
2. Max of two dogs.
3. Well-behaved dog(s) under 50 lbs only. No aggressive breeds.
4. No dog(s) under 1 year. All dogs must be spayed/neutered.
5. Dog(s) must be well behaved on leash, and owners must agree to keep dogs on leash whenever they are outdoors.
6. Dog(s) must not be left alone at the property unless crated, and excessive barking or disruptive behavior must be addressed immediately by the guest.
7. Dog(s) are not allowed on any furniture, including beds, sofas, and chairs. Please bring your own pet bedding. Please be courteous of guests with allergies.
8. Outside: Please pick up after your dog(s) and dispose of waste properly. A small shovel/rake/waste pan and a pet genie are provided on the side of the home (near the fire pit).
9. Dog(s) must be treated for fleas within fourteen days of arrival. Proof of treatment may be required.
10. Ensure your dog’s vaccinations are up-to-date. We may ask for vaccination records before your stay.
11. A vacuum is available. If you clean up after your dog(s) and there are no damages, 100% of the security deposit will be refunded. Reasons why the security deposit may not be fully refunded: damages, extensive cleaning required to be performed by housekeeping staff, and/or missing items.
