The River House @ 102 is conveniently located in downtown Oscoda, MI on the AuSable River! Our coastal inspired decor will have you ready to kick back, relax and cast a line or two! The River House @ 102 is a 3 bdrm/1 bath fully furnished home ready for the whole family to enjoy! Our rooms bring the serenity and beauty of the outside in. They are all well appointed with pillow top mattresses and new bedding (1-king, 2-queen). With 50' of frontage on the AuSable River with a seawall & dock to secure pontoon, speed boat, fishing boat or jet skis! Only a short 5 minute boat ride to access the turquoise waters of Lake Huron. Here to fish? You'll find bass, walleye, perch and steel-head right in your backyard! Walking distance to restaurants, shops, ice cream and downtown beaches etc. Lots of family fun provided with board games, cornhole, ladder ball, beach caddy with chairs, toys & towels, fishing poles/small tackle box, chairs and hammocks. Fully stocked kitchen, heat/central air, bathroom linens, televisions, bedding, outdoor grill and wifi available. Soak up every second of your getaway with us at The River House @ 102! Looking for more space for larger groups book the River Sweet Cottage located next door.
This location comes with the following:
Kayaks, paddles & life jackets multiple sizes, 4 adirondack chairs, Outdoor fire-pit, Corn-hole set, ladder-ball set, Cooler, Gas grill. Laundry pickup and drop off service available upon request.

For good swimmers this location can be good for snorkeling, the water is clear and can normally spot fish swimming out front. Sit back and enjoy the fresh air, refreshing water and clear skies at night. Get ready to RELAX, UNWIND and drop a LINE or two!

Fishing Fun

Great location, wonderful home and hosts! We came up for our annual fishing trip, this was a perfect place for us being right on the river and close to town. We look forward to coming back!

Charming place to stay!

This place on the river is excellent! Clean, nicely furnished and has a lovely outdoor deck space to enjoy. Stayed here last year also with our grandkids and they loved it too.

Great River Escape

Fantastic getaway. We didn't have the greatest weather, but the River house is so cozy and cheerful that it more than made up for it. We were able to get some hiking, fishing and kayaking in. They are great hosts.

10 out of 10!!!!! Such a Beautiful Rental inside and out & Property!! We had such a wonderful, peaceful weekend at the River House!! All you need to bring is your clothes and food, Jen has the cottage filled with everything and anything you could possibly need!! Had so much fun fishing too! Caught 3 fish on one cast on a double hook lol Jen is an Amazing host too!! And the beds and bedding are so COMFY!!! Just a Beautiful home!! We can’t wait to go back very soon!!

Home away from home!

We come to Oscoda every 4th of July to see family and struggled to find a rental to fit our needs. Jerry and Jen were the best hosts! They had plenty of supplies, games, entertainment and the rooms were so welcoming and comfortable! The Maui pad was such a bonus! We will be back next year!

Anniversary Trip

My husband and I stayed at your home for our anniversary and invited my sister and brother and thejr spouses to celebrate too. The house was perfect and the owners were amazing. I would definitely stay again.

Cozy fun cottage!

This is our favorite spot to stay when we visit Oscoda. Beautiful views of the Au Sable, cozy house with everything you need, and great location. Jerry and Jen are always great hosts!

The “Happy Place” was a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

Outstanding! The accommodations were perfect and very nice personal touches which made the stay even memorable. Fresh flowers, great use of space, clean and the outdoor space with hammock and view was amazing.

A lovely place to stay. Well appointed and charmingly decorated. You can tell the owners care about this place. Kitchen well stocked with everything one would need for meal prep.

Our family started this adventure in 2017 and have loved every minute of it! We love our town and enjoy sharing all the beauty and fun it has to offer with our guests! We enjoy traveling, are avid sports fans, love boating & fishing especially on Lake Huron or the AuSable River and relaxing outside by a bonfire.

Our property is all about the location without skimping on comfort. You'll have access to the AuSable River or Lake Huron, parking for your boat or jet ski directly in front of the house with all the comforts of home. Our home is walking distance to restaurants, beaches, ice cream shops and multiple fishing spots. Our home is open year round. So go on a fall color tour check out the steelhead fishing or pack up your snow shoes, cross country skis or snowmobiles and hit the trails this winter about 1/2 mile from the house. The opportunities are endless!
Our home is located at the finish line for the annual AuSable River Canoe Marathon, the start of Sawyer canoe where his first canoes were built and was later home to Tiny's AuSable Bait and Tackle.

This section of river is good for fishing by boat, along the seawall, kayaking, tubing, swimming or just listening to the water flow by. Our home features new furnishings, an updated kitchen, streaming television services and nice linens throughout! We have a variety of things for families to enjoy inside and out!
