Rocky Pine Lodge was established in 2017. This open floor plan vacation house was built in 2003 in a secluded setting in The Scenic Hocking Hills. It is conveniently situated 15 miles from the city of Logan with its many stores, restaurants, banks etc. It is 10 miles from the Spring St. Antique Mall and 9 miles from the Hocking Hills Zip Line Canopy Tours. It is 8 miles from the village of Laurelville and its famous Apple and Cider Barn. This village has quaint eateries, a grocery store and other attractions. It is located 8 miles from Rock House and 13 miles from Hocking Hills State Park. For the outdoor drama lover, Tecumseh! Outdoor Drama (June 9-Sept 3, 2018) is a scenic 40 min drive. Rocky Pine accommodates up to 22 guests.

The large, completely furnished kitchen includes a Keurig (bring your own k-cups) and regular BUNN coffee maker, (when you plug in the BUNN coffee maker it takes a full 30 min to heat water for coffee), stainless steel burr coffee grinder, Kitchen Aid mixer, 2 crock pots, as well as all the usual pots, pans, and cooking utensils. There is a second refrigerator located in the garage. The eating bar will seat 9 guests.

For guests wanting a grocery store: those coming in on St. Rt. 33 E., Lancaster Ohio has a Kroger, Meijer, Wal Mart, Aldi, and Giant Eagle and would be “on your way”. It is approx 30-40 min to the Lodge from Kroger. After you have arrived at the Lodge, Logan Ohio has a Wal Mart, Kroger, and Save-A-Lot. (Approx 15-20 min away). Laurelville Ohio has Youngs Family Mkt and Dollar General. (Approx 15 min away).

The spacious main floor living room features an open, vaulted, wood beam ceiling, gas fireplace, & TV. From here there is access to the screened in porch.

The dining room has windows on 3 sides for a fantastic view of the woods, and opens to the deck which is connected to the screened in porch.

There is a laundry room for guests with a washer and dryer on the first floor. Laundry detergent etc. is provided.

Rocky Pine features 6 bedrooms:

Bedroom #1: Located on the main floor. This is the Master Suite and features a King bed. It has a Jacuzzi, a shower, and his/hers sinks. This bedroom has its own private deck for early morning coffee or just relaxing, and overlooks the wooded acreage. There is a toddler bed in the large walk-in closet that can be moved.

Bedroom #2: Located on the main floor. This is a private bedroom with a Queen bed.

Bedroom #3: Located on the main floor. This is a private bedroom with a Queen bed.

Bedroom #4: Located in the lower level. This is a private bedroom and has a Queen and a Full bed.

Bedroom #5: Located in the lower level and is a family friendly room. It has a Queen bed, and a comfortable Queen pullout couch. In the "closet" with its own privacy door off of the private restroom there is a Full bed. This room will sleep 6.

Bedroom #6: Located in the lower level. This is a private bedroom with a Queen bed, Futon, and attached restroom.

All bedrooms are furnished with bed linens and extra blankets.

The finished family room in the lower level has a queen size sleeper sofa. It has a large screen TV with Xbox 360. There are many family friendly DVDs in the cabinet. It has a Foosball table and a small table perfect for playing the numerous board games available. In the cupboards in the “kitchenette” there are numerous board/table games.

Rocky Pine has 4 full bathrooms:

Bathroom #1 is in the Master Suite and has a Jacuzzi tub and shower with his and hers sinks.

Bathroom #2 is adjacent to bedroom #2 and is across the hall from and shared with bedroom #3. This has a shower.

Bathroom #3 is in the lower level and is adjacent to bedroom #6 and directly across hall from and shared with bedroom #4. This has a tub/shower.

Bathroom #4 is in the lower level in bedroom #5 and has a shower.

All bathrooms are furnished with towels, and toilet paper.

There is a Pack N Play available. A toddler bed is located in the Master Suite closet.

The garage has an extra refrigerator and small freezer. It also has a table for dining etc that can be moved outside to the fire ring for additional seating or serving space. If it is moved outside please move it back into garage before leaving. There are numerous yard games i.e. Spike ball, Kan Jam, Ladder ball, Volley ball, Corn Hole etc. as well as a soccer ball, football, dodgeball etc. located in the garage. The ping pong table is located in the garage.

Rocky Pine features 2 decks. A small private deck with chairs for the Master Suite. The second one connects the dining room to a screened in porch off of the living room.

Outside on the “hill” there is a fire ring with removable grill in the shed. There is a picnic table and the table from the garage can be moved out to accommodate larger groups. There is wood available. Lighter fluid is furnished.

The play area has a swing set with a climbing wall for the younger children. There are several Little Tykes vehicles and toys in the small barn for the younger children as well. There is a large grassy area to play games etc. The surrounding woods can be explored as well - AT YOUR OWN RISK.

There is a a 6 burner gas grill available.

Cell phone service is minimal. WIFI available. Direct TV is the television provider.
