A charming log home in the middle of the woods. We made s'mores from toasted marshmallows over a fire in the backyard firepit. We carved a pumpkin on the front porch. The kitchen had every tool you could ever need. We liked the proximity to other attractions. We brought our dog who loved running in the woods. All of the beds were comfortable with good quality (and soft) bed linens. Three bedrooms were perfect for my family. We visited at a time of year when we didn't want to make use of the fireplace, but I can see that as a great attraction during colder months. Our host was wonderfully communicative and very nice. Our huge surprise was that our host is also a beekeeper and we plan to make use of the information she left to buy some of their honey. The only problem we had was the door to the back porch where the washing machine and dryer are located. We had a hard time with the lock for some reason. Otherwise, a truly magical stay.

The host was absolutely amazing. The cabin is beautiful and the view is stunning. Its so quiet and peaceful. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone. We can't wait to book it again. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality.

Great cabin

This is a great cabin. It was very well stocked, they had everything you could need. The property was really nice with lots of space for the kids to explore.

The property was absolutely beautifully! Very rustic, charming, and cozy. The owners were very communicative, and left nothing to question, answering any questions we had immediately, and most beforehand. Clean and inviting. Would love to return! Could not imagine a better place to spend our honeymoon!

Great getaway!

We had a fantastic weekend stay at the cabin. Karla was very helpful throughout the trip with advice on things to do. Great place to stay with a family. We will definitely be back for another vacation!

Was a narrow way up to the property but does not disappoint. Everything was great and all the amenities were spot on! We enjoyed the area immensely and on our last morning a young bear sauntered by the kitchen window. Truly magical!!

Fun family time

This cabin was the perfect location for our family getaway. Minutes from Helen, GA, and other tourist sites, but tucked away on a mountain top with beautiful scenery, deer wandering by, and woods to explore. Check-in was easy, the cabin was well stocked and met all of our expectations.

Perfect Mountain Stay

The cabin was a perfect size for our family visit. A quiet peaceful retreat on the top of a winding road. Great internet access and the kitchen is full of the tools for cooking.

What an amazing place to spend the week!! The cabin is beautiful and had everything that we could possibly want. It was a great place for the family to get together and spend some quality time catching up . Lots of places to hang out outside and just enjoy being in the forest! The host is wonderful and very accommodating and was available if we had any questions. Check in was super easy. It's very close to Helen and some great hiking spots. I would highly recommend staying at this cabin.

Amazing host and cabin

We loved our stay. The cabin is well equipped for all your needs. Very peaceful surroundings but close enough to Cleveland and Helen for activities. The owner communicated throughout to make sure all went great.

Beautiful View

If you want to get away then this is the place for you. Definitely takes you back and has all the cozy cabin feels. Beautiful views and plenty to do on property outdoors.

Great relaxing getaway.

Exceptional log cabin with all the amenities. Great location high up in the north Georgia mountains. Close to the alpine village of Helen, GA with great shopping and restaurants. If you like peace and quiet but desire access to amazing outdoor activities then this is the rental for you.

Perfect Getaway Spot!

If you're looking to simply unwind and unplug then this is your spot. Nicely tucked away with scenic views! The cabin itself is very clean, organized, and nicely decorated with all needed amenities. Karla and Jason are the best hosts ever!

Great stay!

My family stay at The Hideaway Cabin October 10-13. Everything was great! The cabin and grounds were very clean and there were plenty of amenities. The host, Karla, was very hands-on and the communication between us was great. There was plenty of room for my family. I highly recommend The Hideway Cabin for your next mountain getaway!
