Dennis and Dorinda have retired after 30 years in the customer service industry. They live on the property in the caretaker's house. They are native New Yorkers transplanted to this tranquil and magical setting. They enjoy every aspect of life in Missoula. Having grown up in the Bronx and Westchester County in NY they are used to everything that NY City offers in the way of culture, shopping and lifestyle. They don't miss a thing except perhaps the white sandy beaches of long island. The magnificent rivers and many water ways satisfy their love of being near the water. Bird watching and communing with nature right at home on the lodge grounds provides a storybook retirement for them. Their family pets love the lifestyle as well. Luke and Leo are brothers from the same litter. They love to frolic in the creek and explore nature with Dennis and Dorinda. Gomez their 30 year old Macaw is lots of fun to be around. He is beautiful and dances for the guests. Gomez loves being outside on the deck and enjoys the surroundings. Lots of native birds and wildlife for him to enjoy. He loves the guests at the lodge and will greet you with a happy 'Hello'

Missoula is a magical place. The scenery is breathtaking. The town vibe is hip and modern while still giving you that old west feeling. On the way to the lodge you will see horses, cows, deer, wild turkey, large birds, mountains and more. Our family has loved the area and vacationed here on the property for over a decade.

There is nothing that can romance you more than a creek on your property. The water sounds, the attraction to wildlife, and general zen feeling on the grounds. The lawn and deck areas offer magnificent views. Tall pines surround you. It is just perfect!
