Experience the real Spain in Alhaurin de La Torre, under 20 minutes drive from the beach and Malaga airport.

This beautiful 4 bedroom villa, sleeps 8 people. It has free 7 separate terraces and garden areas, everything you could want for an unforgettable family holiday.

There is free WiFi, table tennis, gated pool (on a separate level to the villa for added safety), a large playing field for badminton, football and volley ball, Flat Screen TV with Amazon fire stick, a large shaded outdoor dining area and masses of space inside and out. The spacious villa is set in a quiet, Spanish suburb with incredible surrounding mountain views. A perfect haven if you want lots of space, activity and freedom.

The villa has high ceilings and is lovely and cool. It is tastefully decorated, with lots of light and very homely. It is set on 2 floors with 2 large single bedrooms and 2 large double bedrooms, plus a spacious open plan lounge and dining area.

There are ceiling fans and air conditioning in all 4 bedrooms. It sleeps up to 8 people comfortably, plus there is a cot and 2 high chair included in the price.

Every year we re-invest in upgrading the property and the facilities to offer you this delightful home-from-home.

Local attractions include Torremolinos beach, Lauro Golf, Aqua Park, Benalmadena, Lauro golf and Malaga city centre. All are within 15-25 minutes drive.

Absolutely brilliant!

We had such an amazing time at Villa Ellen Maria. The owner Carole went out of her way to ensure that we had everything we needed and the place was spotlessly clean. The pool area is wonderful, with great views of the mountain and the rooftop balcony makes a great place to watch the sunset. We even made use of the badminton courts and had a paella delivered to the property which was just brilliant. All 13 of us enjoyed every minute of our stay and I would recommend this villa to everyone.

Had a great experience in this stunning villa. The daybed outside of the pool is a really relaxed and nice addition to the house. The villa was clean and has some great features. The only downside was that there’s only one double bed instead of 2 what is in the advertisement. But overall really nice villa!

Absolutely brilliant!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Villa Ellen and the owner Carole went out of her way to ensure that we had everything we needed. The place was perfectly clean when we arrived and we were able to make use of the pool even in October (as well as the beautiful views of the mountains)! The rooftop balcony is a lovely way to watch the sunset and all 13 of us staying at the villa thoroughly enjoyed our time spent there. I would recommend it to everyone.

Brill holiday

We've just come back from a wonderful holiday staying at this villa. It's clean, well maintained and in a great location. Carol was always on hand (but not intrusive) if we needed help arranging taxis or with any information needed. Everything is well thought out with this villa, good directions, restaurant recommendations, extra towels, thoughtful little food parcel on arrival. The pool was kept clean. We couldn't really fault it. What would make the villa perfect would be air conditioning. There are ceiling fans in all the rooms, but air con in the bedrooms in the height of summer would be the icing on the cake. Would strongly recommend hiring a car in order to get about, but equally buses are easy to use and navigate. Local restaurants are good, cheap and friendly. Aqualand is well worth a visit, only 20 mins by car. Definitely would recommend this villa to anyone :)

fab holiday 2014

this villa gave us all we wanted for our best family holiday ever. the pool was lovely and in constant use. lovely evening using BBQ and kids had loads of space to run around in. carol the owner was a great help with arranging taxis and telling us about restaurants and places to visit. would recommend villa Ellen Maria to anyone.

Very beautiful house, perfect for 8 people

It was great for New Year. Very beautiful situation, close to Malaga and quite warm during winter (16-20°c). The house was beautiful and we really had a great time. I highly recommend the restaurant "La Tapeteria" in Alhaurin del Torre. Best tapas we had.

Fantastic holiday - Will recommend this villa!

We were 2 families with our children and we spent a very nice holiday in the villa Ellen Maria. The house is very clean, well furnished and comfortable with a lot of space. The swimming pool is well secured and the lounge area is very nice. We really enjoyed the BBQ! Games are also available for the children! Carole is lovely and always helpful to provide tips for restaurants, bars, beaches or places to visit. We really appreciated her attention. Thanks a lot for everything. I will definitely recommend this house!

wonderful holiday

Absolutely fantastic holiday . Six of us stayed at the villa. The villa itself is huge and situated up within the hills. We hired two cars which were essential for getting about and going to the beach etc . The villa has absolutely everything you could wish for and Carole , the owner is so helpful and always on hand for any advice or assistance if required. The villa was exceptionally clean and tidy and the pool and gardens are just fabulous .We had some tasty barbeques on two nights and ate out in some delightful restaurants the rest . We walked to the restaurants in the main town and got a taxi back which costs around eight euros . The local meat and fish market are perfect for providing all the food for the barbeque . Carole had provided us with in depth information regarding the beaches and local attractions etc and we all enjoyed a fun and exciting day at the aqua park . This villa is brilliant value for money . If you want a retreat away from the typical touristy bars and beaches then this is the perfect haven although torremolinos is only twenty minutes drive away . We would not hesitate in booking this villa again ,infact we hope to return in the not too distant future . The Gladwin family sheffield june 2012

Amazing weekend with 13 Friends

We went away for 3 nights and had the most amazing weekend, the villa was very clean and well equipted with plenty of room for everyone. our contact was Carmen who could not do enough for us, between carole and carmen they made our weekend very relaxing and helped us in every way from picking us up from the aiport, stocking up our fridge on arrival, we also got a lift to the supermarket with carmen to get our food/drink supplies. the pool was lovely and warm/clear and we loved the chillout area and the BBQ. the main town was within walking distance where there were plenty of shops/resturants/bars. we would definitly recommend this villa for a lovely holiday. thanks to carole & carmen x

Villa Ellen Maria

What wonderful time we had a Villa Ellen Maria. We have been staying at this Villa for our holidays over the last 5 years, and this year the facilities have been improved. There is a wonderful new trendy lounge area, and an extended BBQ area with lots of space. The Villa itself it always clean and tidy, and the personalised service from Carole makes our holiday even more special. The pool area is great and the lights from the pool at night give it a real special feel. We will continue visiting the Villa for our holidays and would highly recommend the Villa to our friends and family. Thank you Carole.

We knew that the owner would not be present during our stay in the villa but it would be nice to have a contactperson in the area who we can call during our stay instead of finding out ourselves. The villa is clean and spacious. We enjoyed the swimmingpool. You do not have full privacy because the owner lives at the same property. We experienced this as a minus. When you come to this villa, please note that it is not a quiet area. The dogs of the neighbours are constantly barking (24/7) and because of the economic situation in Spain you will also find a lot of destruction in this sub-urb. We can recommend the villa but the area is not an inspiration.

Would not hesitate to book again!

Returned on Tuesday from a fantastic stay at Villa Ellen. There was 12 girls in all for my hen weekend, and not once did we feel cooped up as I felt we might in a hotel. Carole allowed us to arrive at 10am as our flight was early, which was fab and a massive help - and meant we could get straight by the lovely pool area! There is also a gazebo area next to the pool with beds in, for the lesser sun worshippers among us! We found this area perfect for relaxing with a book. The villa is spacious with plenty of room for 12/13 people, and was lovely and cool despite the soaring temperatures outside. In the terrace area is a fantastic table to eat around altogether, another feature that made the break really sociable and relaxed. The Wi-Fi was a great help for us with booking taxis and ordering ourselves a curry one night (heavy night in Torremolinos!!) Although we didn't hire a car we found ourselves not actually wanting to leave the villa, but when we did go out ordering taxis and minibuses was an easy task with minimal Spanish. On our way to the villa we stopped at a supermarket and bought enough food to feed 12 people for 3 days - for 7 euros each!! So definitely more cost effective in that respect. Carole is lovely and extremely helpful, there was also a noticeboard with taxi numbers & takeaway menus whih were a great help. With the DVD player, books, magazines and maps, it really was a home from home! Thank you for a brilliant stay, we would not hesistate to book with Carole again.

Holiday Ruined

I'm not going to say a positive thing about the villa - however I will say that we have all been left with a bad taste in our mouths. We are two professional families who stayed at the villa and were complimented on the cleanliness upon our departure. However when we enquired about the return of our deposit we were accused of stealing towels. When we denied this we were challenged,so not only were we told that we were theives, we were also being accused of being liars. As you can imagine this does not bode well for ANYONE. There was NO inventory of goods upon arrival yet we were accused and subsequently charged for 8 towels, despite assurances from ourselves that we did not take or remove these. Unfortunately irrespective how good a holiday you have, being told you are a thief RUINS YOUR HOLIDAY. Book and stay at this villa with caution - in fact think twice!!!!

Wonderful holiday

12 of us, 6 adults and 6 children, had a wonderful week in Villa Ellen Maria. Despite the lack of aircon it was not too hot to sleep at night as you could leave the windows open. We had no problems with mosquitos in the week we were there. The kids loved the pool and there is plenty to do within close range by car. Torremolinos and Benalmadena both within a 20 min drive and both have good shopping and lovely beaches. If history and architecture is your thing then Ronda, Granada and Seville are all within an hour or two's drive. A hire car is essential with this villa as the closest shops are a 5-10 minute drive away, but too far to walk. The villa itself was clean and well looked after, and having the owner (who was most friendly and helpful) living in the bungalow next door was handy for any issues that arose. They have English TV to watch and a table tennis table/badminton court outside. Highly recommended and we would love to have stayed longer :(

Lovely stay in Villa Ellen Maria

We stayed here as a group of 4 adults and 3 children in June 2011 and had a lovely time. The villa was clean, well presented and comfortable and though we arrived a little early, Carole had no problem us gaining access and beginning to settle in. Carole was very helpful providing good tips for restaurants, bars and shopping in the local area. . We would recommend this to any other people looking to stay in the area

May 2011

We spent a week at the villa at the end of May. Having small children and older ones the swimming pool and table tennis where a great hit. We had a fantastic time and Carole was a great host. What was really nice was the seating area outside, which could go under cover, that seated all 8 of us. Would definately recommend to families.

Pefect stay in February 2011

By coincidence we booked this villa. The other villa suffered from water damage and so was canceled. But after having stayed a week we felt very lucky. First of all we had a marvelous week thanks to the weather. 20-25 degrees! Mostly sunshine. Perfect. The house was very convenient although it was a bit cold inside as the weeks before the weather was not that excellent. It was efficiently solved by some gas heater and of course the superb fire place! We enjoyed the stay and next time in Malaga we know were we have to go!

Villa Ellen Review

We have recently returned from Villa Ellen and have had a fantastic week.The villa is beautiful and very well equipped all round.The pool lovely and the views spectular.Carole was extremely welcoming and helpful during our stay.We have young children who were safe in the gated villa and made use of the fantastic facilities, including table tennis and badminton! The area is beautiful,sadly not enough time to explore as much as would have liked to.Would not hesitate to recommend the villa and would love to go back!

Villa Ellen-Maria

I have just returned from spending 10 nights in Villa Ellen-Maria and cannot speak highly enough of the experience We brought 3 young kids who had a ball between the pool, table tennis & badminton as well as the garden areas Car is necessary as villa is located in a quiet residential area, very peaceful yet only 15 minutes from all the bars / restaurants / nightlife of Torremelinos & the airport. Lovely traditional Spanish Town is less than a 5 minute drive away & villa has all mod cons, 4 decent sized bedrooms and a spectacular view from the rooftop, especially at night Carole was a perfect host, providing lots of useful information prior to our arrival and always available if needed without being intrusive We would highly recommend Villa Ellen-Maria & hope to get back again before too long ourselves

A clean, spacious villa in a great location

I stayed at Villa Ellen Maria in April with a group of 7 friends. We were all very impressed by how clean and well-maintained the villa was and we loved the spacious layout. The villa is in a great location as it's really easy to get to the beach, go into the mountains, visit Malaga etc.And it's very easy to get to and from the airport! The villa is in a quiet residential area so it makes for a very peaceful stay. Everyone in the group enjoyed the badminton and table tennis facilities at the villa and the lilos and other pool toys too! The owner Carole was extremely helpful and friendly and provided us with lots of information about the surrounding area which was greatly appreciated. We followed Carole's advice to rent a car and I would definitely recommend anyone staying at the villa does the same. The slightly elevated position of the villa does mean that it would be quite a walk into the town. I would definitely recommend the villa to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, hassle-free break in the sun and I would certainly go back again myself.

Villa Ellen Maria

We've used Villa Ellen Maria as a home base for our cycling training for a week. A lovely area to cycle with good weather. The villa was a great place to come home to rest after the training. Lot's of space and a great view. With the pool, tv, dvd and other games provided we were not bored for a minute. The beach, busstops and shops are nereby. And the airport is only a 15 minute drive, but we didn't hear the planes. A car or bike may be handy if you wan't to travel trough the area. We had a great week and love to come back next year!
