Island Winds East Units: During Spring Break, mid-May through mid-August, Labor Day, and the Shrimp Festival event, each unit is allotted one (1) parking pass, regardless of its size. Extra parking options are available offsite, and please note that these arrangements may be subject to change.
On-site paid parking is available and managed by the property's HOA. Parking passes can be purchased upon arrival and are valid for the duration of your stay. Please be sure to display the pass clearly on your driver's side dashboard at all times while on the property.

*Rates are set by the HOA and are subject to change without prior notice.

For the comfort and safety of all guests, U-hauls, trailers, boats, jet skis, buses, and similar vehicles are not permitted on the property.

This place was great for the 2 of us. Not sure Iā€™d want to take anyone with us, as there is no privacy for the bedroom. Great location, close to restaurants and a beautiful view of the beach. Might want to watch what you say on the balcony, though. Would definitely stay again.

Overall, our stay was excellent! I do agree with others about adding a curtain to the window in bedroom. Other than that, the location is perfect and the room is perfect for 2 people! We would definitely stay there again.

Great location!

The condo was a little small for 4 people (my husband and I and 2 kids. But we were able to look past that with the perfect location and breathtaking views! The kitchen was fully stocked for us to do breakfast and lunch and the condo was with in walking distance to some amazing places for dinner! Not to mention less than 2 mins to the pool and beach! Will definitely book again!

Bedroom inside the front door.

The bedroom is immediately to your left as you walk in & has no door. The bedroom window had no darkening shades/curtains and faced out to the walkway that stayed brightly lit all night. Also no counter space in the outdated small bathroom. Just a pedestal sink. The entire unit is much smaller than the pictures seem to show. The balcony could really use a small table to be able to set food/drink on. On a positive note, the staff was nice and they seemed to work hard to keep the property clean. Good location & easy walk to beach.

This was better than I had expected. Though it was an older property, it was well-maintained, well-equipped (had everything we needed), and the PERFECT beach location. I would definitely stay there again.

Gulf Shores first time

Came to Jay Florida to visit a Grandchild and came to spend a few days at Gulf Shores. Island Winds was a wonderful place to spend our time.

Family Vacation

We had a blast. Our family consisted of 2 children between the ages of 12-14. It was very well located to get to the other fun stuff that was really close. We loved being right on the beach. There was two pools but the one that we would use was only open the first night we were there then it was closed the next 3 nights. Other than that we had an awesome time and will most definitely like to stay again.

Good location

The bedroom definitely needs a blackout curtain. Lights in hall and by elevator light up bedroom. Had trouble sleeping A smell in unit when we arrived. My husband found black fuzzy mold all over in the toilet tank. Had to have been there for sometime. Maintenance cleaned it next day. Said it was housekeeping responsibility Following day day maintenance arrived saying water was leaking on ceiling below us. Part on toilet needed to be replaced We think it broke when mold was getting clean up. Didnā€™t have a toilet until early evening Would like a discount. Wasnā€™t a great stay

Perfect place

This place is exactly as described. You are right on the beach with the pool below. I believe the pool is heated (it felt great the one time we got in to it). The kitchen is stocked. The bed is comfortable. All in all, weā€™d definitely stay here again. And hopefully, should we go to Gulf Shores again, the weather will be as perfect as this place

It truly was a wonderful trip for us both

Beautiful View.

The total property was extremely clean. All the folks that worked there were very friendly and helpful. The location is close to a ton of restaurants and shopping. Our view of the ocean would be hard to match, it was awesome. Access to the pool and the ocean was extremely easy as well. The only issue we had was the bed was very firm, so somewhat uncomfortable. The cooking pans could be upgraded. Again we had a great time and look to return soon.

Last minute quick trip to the beach. Check in easy and early. Third floor, view was amazing. Condo was perfect for the 2 of us. Very convenient to everything. Will definitely stay again.
