Welcome to Island Winds East 502, your newly updated and refreshed retreat! This spacious condo offers comfortable accommodations for up to six guests, making it perfect for families or groups of friends.

Relax in the living room, complete with a full sofa, loveseat, and a 65-inch flat-screen television, providing ample seating and entertainment space for all guests. The new Granite Peninsula in the kitchen seats six comfortably and provides a stylish and functional space for meals and gatherings.

The kitchen boasts stainless appliances, plenty of prep space and an abundance of storage. The beautiful backsplash along with the soft overhead and under-cabinet lighting will enhance the ambiance of the space and make your meal prep feel like a vacation as well.

Each bedroom features a 42-inch flat-screen television, ensuring entertainment and relaxation for all guests. The master bedroom offers a king-size bed for ultimate comfort, while the guest bedroom features two full-size beds for additional sleeping space.

Experience the ultimate in comfort and convenience at Island Winds East 502. Book your stay now and enjoy a relaxing getaway on Alabama's Gulf Coast!

Island Winds East Units: During Spring Break, mid-May through mid-August, Labor Day, and the Shrimp Festival event, each unit is allotted one (1) parking pass, regardless of its size. Extra parking options are available offsite, and please note that these arrangements may be subject to change.
On-site paid parking is available and managed by the property's HOA. Parking passes can be purchased upon arrival and are valid for the duration of your stay. Please be sure to display the pass clearly on your driver's side dashboard at all times while on the property.

*Rates are set by the HOA and are subject to change without prior notice.

For the comfort and safety of all guests, U-hauls, trailers, boats, jet skis, buses, and similar vehicles are not permitted on the property.

Family Beach trip

Condo is small and tight fitting 5 people, but the location could not possibly be any better! Check in was a bit of a nightmare but after that we had a GREAT TIME!

Nice

The property was nice, clean. We did like the location, seemed to be able to avoid the heavy traffic areas in Orange Beach. We had 4 adults, might have seemed crowded with 6 adults! We would have liked the king size bed in the front bedroom with the ocean view! Checkout was very simple!

The pictures looked like the place was very roomy but it was not… other than that our vacation was great.

Relaxing getaway

Everything for our stay was great. Room was clean when we got there. Check in and out process was easy and staff was friendly. Chair rental service is available on the beach. Centrally located to everything. Beach just a few steps away from room. The only drawback was one of the elevators was out of order, it wasn't a problem for us, as it wasn't very crowded, but I imagine as the season gets busier, that will create some issues. Will be back.

Dirty

Needs a lot of work and it’s just dirty. Dryer is broke and within 10 minutes of arrival the towel bar just fell off the wall. Would not recommend this building to anyone.

The air conditioner the first day didn’t work. Room was moldy and you can see the ceiling with mold

Surroundings of the property didn’t feel safe. Balcony of the room did not have privacy. Defininately the room does not sleep 6 comfortably. Beds and pillows hard and very uncomfortable. The only good thing was that the ocean was very accesible and within walking distance of the hangout

Jose: I am disappointed that the condo did not meet your expectations. We have welcomed many families here that have enjoyed their stay and felt comfortable here. I will follow up with the lobby desk to make sure the AC is operating correctly. The amazing beach view and the central location makes IWE very convenient for our guests. If not here, I certainly hope you find a beach location to relax and enjoy.

Pretty good

The condo was nice. The parking was not great. One parking pass only and no paying extra so even though it accommodates 8 there is no where to park and no overnight parking close unless you want to pay $30/night which is not watched or anything and still a good ways away. The trash shoots are outside in the hall so of course they smell horrible every time you come in or out. We had to buy febreeze to stand it. The actual room was pretty good though. Plenty of things to do near by and for those that don’t like cold beach water the pool is heated so it feels more like a bathtub.

Not as expected

The check in process wasn’t very efficient, the dryer vent was broken, no dust pan anywhere to be found to clean up all the sand, anytime you wanted to watch the main tv everything had to be reset and the condo wasn’t very clean. I tried to reach out to the front desk with no help and the internet wouldn’t work well enough for me to send an email through VRBO to have someone remedy the issues.

Family Vacay 2023

Much smaller than it appears in pictures. The listing says it sleeps 8, but we were very crowded with 6. You can barely move on the balcony with 4 large chairs out there, and you are practically on top of the neighbors. The condo looked and smelled clean, except for the pots and pans. They all had to be scrubbed before use. The air conditioner rattled loudly, the bathroom sink drain had to be propped open with something in order for the water to drain. The washing machine sounded like it might explode or die any second. All of this was manageable, but the biggest issue was the parking. Only one parking pass is given at this place that supposedly sleeps 8 people. That is completely absurd and resulted in us having to pay to park our second car about a half mile away at a completely different establishment. The lady at the front claimed they were at capacity, but we saw empty spots everywhere. We would have gladly paid extra for an additional parking pass in the same lot. If you are going to rent out units, then be prepared to have your guests park in your lot. Most parties of 8 people do not travel in the same car. The description in the rental agreement made it sound as if parking was available across the street in an overflow lot. This was definitely not the case.

I was overall very happy with the condo. The location is great. The condo itself was clean and well taken care of. My only complaint is the staff that worked at the office. They were unpleasant at best. The maintenance staff and security staff were very professional and polite.

We had awesome view. On the 3rd day we were there the guest bath tub was leaking into the unit under us so we asked to be moved and they was nice enough to move us to unit with the same view.

Awesome view & lay out. Could use some work.

I’ve always had a great experience with the BR company, but this time I was a little disappointed. The bed was extremely hard, could use new shower curtains, bath tubs need cleaning. The entire condo needs a deep clean! This is the first time I’ve ever experienced a dirty stay & we’ve stay many times so this is not a reoccurring thing with BR. On a better note, the lay out of this condo rules! The other people in this complex are very nice & the beach is awesome.

Perfect Gulf Front location

My wife and I stayed here for a little rest and relaxation. Everything was prefect. The front desk staff couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful. They were actually delighted to assist us. Plenty of things to do within walking distance. Restaurants, shops, taverns, groceries all within a few steps.
