Island Sunrise, Unit 365 is a beautifully remodeled two-bedroom, two-bath condo in Gulf Shores, Alabama. The updated kitchen features stainless steel appliances, ample cabinetry, and seating for six at the dining room table. The living room boasts floor-to-ceiling windows, flat-screen TVs, tile flooring throughout, a queen-size sleeper sofa, and two comfortable swivel chairs.

The master bedroom includes a king-sized bed, while the second bedroom offers two twin-sized beds, making this condo perfect for families or groups. Both bathrooms have been completely updated for modern comfort.

My friends and i had a wonderful time. There was five of us total. The condo was very clean and we had everything we needed to cook with. We were so excited that the beach was so close a very short walk.Two condos down was a seafood restaurant Sea and Suds that had delicious food and drinks. We walked to The Hangout and enjoyed the local band one night. A great place looking forward to next year.

Island sunrise

The pictures from the website is different from the condo. Color is different, the condo is smaller. The icebox was leaking water. Called travel agent and said they would call maintenance. But no one ever showed up to fix it. Had to keep mopping up water.

Location and simplicity are a plus!

We loved the accessibility to both the beach and pool, as well as the visual site lines to all. I heard talk of this location expanding... I hope that doesn't happen. Some people love a low key experience, without all the long elevator waits and crowded pool areas. We had a great time here!

Overall we very much liked the condo. So much so, we’ve booked it for next year 👍 Just a few hiccups: The elevator did keep malfunctioning off and on the entire month. They said a part was needed and the maintenance company came and got it working again in a fair amount of time. We did have a no smoking room, but the people directly under us were smoking on the balcony and that did hinder some time spent in ours (smoke rises 😕). The painters were outside our condo/balcony for the first week of our stay, and working on the exterior the full month. A little inconvenient, but not horrible. The condo and the shared places were really well taken care of. 👍 We could not connect to a safe wi-fi although we thought we should have been. We would highly recommend island sunrise to any vacationers or snowbirds 👍👍👍

Condo was okay but not the most pristine.

The location was great, but the condition of the condo was not good for the price in my opinion. The walls, corners, baseboards, and kitchen/bathroom cabinets were in terrible condition with holes and paint scratches everywhere. The cleanliness upon arriving was also not great, and the bathrooms were outdated. The artwork was very nice, and it worked for our family to have a nice vacation, but I'll be looking for a better condo in the future.

Not perfect, just suited our needs

We had a toilet leak above our bathroom. However, it was addressed immediately. The master bedroom window leaked during the hard rain and the master bedroom mattress was horrible. Very uncomfortable. Should be replaced

Cute clean and close to beach

Small 2 bedroom 2 bath. Perfect for us 4. You could have up to 6 but it would be tight. Very close to beach just steps away. The condo was just as pictured and super clean. The door going out on the balcony was super heavy and hard to close or open. Overall a great location and stay.

Condo needs major repairs and attention to detail when cleaning!

Chest of drawers in bedroom #1 had 3 drawers missing leaving only 2. Unacceptable. I specified 4 adults upon registration and only 3 chairs available at kitchen table. The 4th dining room chair was broken and stuffed in master bedroom closet. Oven was dirty with food stuck to bottom. The first night we arrived we cooked a pizza in the oven and it smoked up and set off the alarm 3 times. Kitchen was not cleaned very well. There were shrimp pieces on the floor in front of stove. The microwave was sticky with food splattered on it. Food crumbs were behind the kitchen sink. Master bedroom had trash under the bed and the door to the balcony leaked when it rained, as did the bathroom in bedroom #1. This condo needs a major update. All 3 beds were hard as a rock. Rugs were dirty looking and both plastic chairs seats on balcony were cracked, catching my bathing suit and pulling it. Also, dryer is awful. It tore my coverup that was given to me by my friend. I have never been a customer who complains but for the amount I paid I expected the condo to be clean, the furniture in working order and my experience to be a nice one. None of these things were provided to me. I would like to speak to someone who can reimburse me for the problems my family and I experienced during our stay. Island Sunrise never disappoints!

My family always stayed at Island Sunrise when I was younger before we moved away from Alabama, and we loved it! Who knows, we may even have stayed in the condo my husband and I had this time (#365). This place hasn't changed a bit; everything was clean, convenient, and reminded me of my childhood. My husband is NOT a beach bum like me, but he was so impressed with the accommodations that he suggested returning in a few years with both of our families! Thanks for a great vacation!
