Sarah was accessible and answered all out questions. The property was clean and linens were provided! They even provided travel sized toiletries and some kitchen starters (coffee, tea, filters, soap, etc)! The view is amazing from the deck ( especially for the Thursday fireworks and the accessibility to businesses on the street is great! Although there is no signed parking for the unit, it was easy to find street parking (30 min limit) and lot parking for about 10. Hoping to return next year and we would love to stay here again! We recommend the mini donuts near the beach and Tostones up on the main road!

The host was responsive, however never addressed the issues I contacted them about (room lights not working, tvs/outlets/lights not working, no cold water knob making the bathroom sink near unusable). We were told "tomorrow" and when tomorrow came no communication and no fixes. When I messaged I was told the next day. The messages felt canned and I wouldnt be surprised if they were AI generated.We left a full day early. As my first stay with a VRBO rental, I likely will not use the platform again, if this is the type of rental they allow on their site.The apartment photographed well, however the photos were taken strategically to hide many unfinished areas. The smoke detector hanging off the ceiling was the first thing you saw when you came up the apartment stairs. Numerous counters lacked edgeband finishing, so it was raw plywood/particleboard/MDF. The giant tv that met you as you came up the stairs didnt work and upon further inspection it was determined that the outlet didnt work and neither did the ceiling lights.

We were hoping for a weekend getaway offseason just to relax and have some quiet, but this was one of the worst nights I've ever had with my kids crying, everyone freezing and ending up sick. We left 1st thing in the morning and booked a hotel for the rest of our trip. After 2 weeks of continuous contact with the host, we still have not been reimbursed.There was no heat, no hot water, a rotting pizza in the oven, dirt and debris on the floors (socks, fruit pouch, wrappers, hair, etc), sand in the sheets, stains/hair/dirt on the bedding, miscellaneous substances on the walls, open closets filled with miscellaneous junk, and broken banisters on the deck. It is clear that the host is not actually involved and relying on their "team", who aren't actually invested in the quality of stay. I would be surprised if anyone did a walkthrough after the last guest.Despite being near freezing, the window was left open without a screen so the apartment was freezing. We shut the window and realized that the heat wasn't kicking on even though it was only 52F, but felt colder. Shortly after shutting the window an awful smell filled the apartment, which we traced back to the oven, which had a rotting pizza in it. The kids wanted to warm up with a hot shower and found that the hot water didn't work either. We notified the host and they said they would have their team address it. This never happened and we spent the night freezing in a filthy house, waking up sick and exhausted.

We were very disappointed with our experience here for a few reasons. Do not stay here, learn from our mistake.1. Parking was not included. We had 30 minutes to unload in front of this space. Then we needed to find parking at a different place (streets away)which we had to additionally pay 25.00 for, every time we left and came back.2. The space we rented was incredibly hot. There was no way we could stay in these conditions with our children. The air conditioning units did not help in any way to cool the place. It was only if you stood directly in front of the unit could you feel a cooler temperature. It was cooler outside on an 88 degree day than inside.3. Although the host said she wanted to “help solve the problem” she then did nothing. We don’t get responses from her and VRBO support did not hear from her either. This to me was sad. We trusted someone, paid them and now we can’t even get in touch with her. Shame on this host.4. Although it looked “cute” with decorative rooms, the owner should really out money into updating the cooling system. All we wanted was to be refunded since we didn’t stay even one night. We had to find other places to stay in a very quick and last minute manner. This ended up costing us much more money and loss of time of our little vacation. We hope that our experience does not happen to anyone else. We are also hoping the host will do what is right and return our money.

One star. (Here’s the explantation)Central location right in the busy strip. No available parking. 90 for 3 nights in the pay lot. You are acosted by the parking enforcement upon arrival and harassed to unload your vehicle in under 30 minutes (up to the third floor). Upon entering the unit- it was sweltering hot with 2 portable units for AC that barely worked. 2 of 4 sleeping areas had AC. The windows had no screens so they couldn’t be opened to get a breeze either. No shades in the main bathroom. At night the neighboring apartments can see right in as you step out of the shower. The entire space is as filthy. 3 minutes of walking around and our feet and socks were slick black!!! The kitchen bathroom is so small you have strattle the toilet just to close the door! The kitchen had a rusted out fridge and thick black grease covered the overhead fan. The microwave was smeared with filth and actually was covered in spider webs. There is no living space- only 4 bar stools surrounding a countertop over a wine fridge (we don’t know if it even worked or was holding up the counter piece. The description included a washer and dryer- there was none- just a hook up. Zero cleaning supplies were available so we had to wear our shoes the entire time. Not even dish soap. 2 of the beds had sand and crumbs in the sheets. The duvet in one of the bedrooms had crusty boogers on it. The w tv remotes didn’t have working batteries. The roof top was gross-

There was no washer or dryer. It is partially air conditioned 2 small units and as a result mostly stifling. Most windows had no screens, worrisome to open windows. Baths NOT modern. The cold water faucet in the small bath off the kitchen was missing. Tiles are broken, the broken tiles by the bar are sharp enough to cut someone's foot. There was not a single closet rod or hanger. I saw one small cabinet with drawers, so no place to unpack. Ceiling lights in one bedroom did not work. No windows coverings in the main bath. The 2nd largest bedroom had glass entry door without any covering to allow for privacy. There were no tub mats, not a single extra towel, each person could have one bath towel and one wash cloth. No towel bars or hooks for wet towels. Looked like someone went through their closet and found whatever odd towel they could and that's what we got. There was not a single kitchen towel. The kitchen had exactly 8 of each item, again, no room for error. Most vrbo's have double the max number, so if it accommodates 8, there are 16 of everything. Also parking description is extremely deceptive. There is 30 minute street parking and there are paid lots, most don't allow overnight parking. The unit was not clean. A couple beds had sand in sheets, freezer dirty, the coffee pot still had grounds in it from prior tenant, the only seating area(outside) was dirty. No windows coverings over port hole windows, again a privacy issue. This unit is not fit for occupancy.
