Escape to our handcrafted 4-bedroom mountain retreat, perched beside Chautauqua Mountain. Step onto the expansive 700 sq ft deck to take in endless green views or enjoy a quiet morning in the sunroom with coffee or yoga. Whether you're soaking up mountain sunsets or exploring town, Roosevelt Retreat is your base for connection and calm.

Roosevelt Retreat is located in the charming "Glen" neighborhood of Palmer Lake. The Glen is full of eclectic houses, cottages and friendly people. You will see historic and newly constructed homes, big and small throughout the Glen. This property is walkable to Glen Park & Pinecrest Event Center but you will need a car to get into the town of Palmer Lake (1 mile away). Bring your bikes, paddle boards, pickleball paddles, disc golf discs and hiking boots; you will use them all!

Guests have full access to the home except for a few locked owners closets. Ample parking in the driveway.

Step onto the expansive 700 sq ft deck and take in stunning views that stretch for miles. You might spot deer grazing below- or fireworks lighting up the sky on the 4th of July. There may be no better seat in all of Palmer Lake to watch the show.

Inside, spread out and settle in. Vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows flood the main level with natural light. Cook together in the chef's kitchen, relax by the wood-burning fireplace, or enjoy long conversations around the oversized dining table.

Looking to recharge? Begin your day with a sunrise yoga session in the enclosed sunroom, surrounded by forest views. At night, let the moonlight spill in while you sip wine or stargaze in peace.

Our home sleeps up to 13 guests comfortably and is set up for groups of all kinds.
Upstairs:

*Chef's kitchen with walk-in pantry
*Main living room with fireplace & queen pull out couch
*Dining area + access to the oversized deck and enclosed sunroom
Downstairs:
*Two queen bedrooms
*Full bathroom + second living room (with television newly added)
*Queen pull-out couch + twin mattress
*Second laundry area for convenience

Each level has its own laundry, making this home ideal for multi-generation stays or multiple families traveling together.

You will want a car

Our home is pet friendly with a $150 pet fee. 420 & smoker friendly outside please. Parties are welcome but must be discussed with Lindsay prior. We'd love to host a wedding, retreat, family reunion or any other fun trip you have planned. This home quite literally sits ON Chautauqua Mtn. Please know you will see wildlife. Bears, mtn lions, fox, squirrels, mice and creepy cawlies too. All reminding you how truly close to nature you are. 4WD or AWD is recommeded in winter. Town roads are not paved yet they are plowed.
