Located less than 10 minutes from the heart of Mentone, you’ll be close to local shops, restaurants, and outdoor adventures like DeSoto Falls, Little River Canyon, and several state parks. Whether you're looking for a romantic escape, a family getaway, or a peaceful solo retreat, this spot is perfect for nature lovers and adventurers alike.

*A signed rental agreement/waiver is required (per insurance policy)
*The lake mat is available seasonally
*The camper is equipped with hookups for power, water, and septic. Please note that the hosts reserve the right to cancel a reservation if these utilities become unavailable due to freezing temperatures or other circumstances beyond their control.
*As RV camping is new to many of our guests, detailed instructions and videos are provided to orient guests to use of the camper, holding tanks, etc during their stay. We are also available to answer any questions.

*A friendly neighborhood dog and cat may stop by to say hello
*No smoking inside the camper
*There are exterior security cameras on the property. They do not have a view inside the camper or on the lake/dock

Guests may enjoy the private dock and two kayaks available for guest use. The circular gravel driveway is gated. The site has a slope down to the lake with steps down to the lake. Please note that a neighboring friendly dog and cat may come say hello during your visit. There is wildlife in the area.

Lake Lahusage is a 29 acre lake formed on the Little River when a dam was built in the 1920s. The "Broken Dam" is a beautiful site down river. The property is near the beloved town of Mentone, known as the "Summer Camp Capitol of the World". Mentone's attractions and restaurants are often mentioned in Southern Living Magazine and other publications. The area is surrounded by natural beauty, scenic vistas, brow views and mountain crafts and art. Desoto State Park, Desoto Falls, Little River Canyon are all nearby in NE Alabama. Cloudland State Park, James H 'Sloppy' Floyd State Park, McLemore Golf Club, and Lookout Mountain Flight Park are all within driving distance in Georgia. Chattanooga, TN is approximately one-hour away for day trips.
