Very comforting, quiet, outdoor BBQ was outstanding, firewood available for a nice campfire, all required cooking utensils available for cooking, would definitely recommend this place.

The cabin was very clean and well organized. Short walk into town, quite a hill on the way back. Wonderful, huge (to me) television.

Communication with host was excellent! This place is so cute and it is situated in the perfect spot! Walkable to everything in town and just minutes from great hiking. We had our dog and he loved sitting in the backyard watching the birds and hearing the rooster in the morning. I would definitely book again!

It was so cute and perfect for the four of us. Our daughters loved the loft and we had fun playing games at the dining table. We roasted marshmallows and made s’mores, having the backyard was a huge perk. It was also so close to town, we could walk everywhere. We’d definitely stay there again.

Great property. Location as key for us. Super close to town and with all the weekend traffic that comes to Julian it was great to be able to walk into town easily. Place was clean and had all of the amenities we needed.

Place was easy to check into and steps away from the main street of Julian. There is a smoky scent when you first enter but it didn't bother us at all. Will definitely here again next time we're in Julian!

Clear instructions to get to home and access. Very clean, owner actively responsive. Wife and kids loved the location, walkable to Julian restaurants. Will be on our repeat list of rentals.

Property was very clean and the check in was super easy. Only downside about the property was the inside did have a strong fire smell. Other than that our stay was great would recommend!

Visited Julian to avoid fireworks on the 4th. Julian delivered. Peace and quiet at night and great small town parade in the daytime. The property is a block from Main Street. Very cool historical building. Nicely renovated with AC, wifi, kitchen, etc. all working well. We brought our dogs and it was great to have a fenced yard for them. We didn’t need to use the loft area so we closed up the access ladder but heads up if you need to use it that the loft would be a fun area for kids to sleep, play games, etc. (it has outlets and a TV) but a challenge to use for adults due to the low ceiling. The host is very transparent about that and the photos are totally accurate. The host also prepared video instructions on how to access the property so check in was easy. Host was also easy to communicate with and helpful when we had questions. 100% would stay here again.

My wife and I loved the property, not only that but how private the yard and property are, it really feels like you are out on the mountains private and only being about a block away from the main street is impressive. Not to forget my Service dog had loads of fun running around in the yard. We also loved the view the property has especially for golden hour. For the inside of the property loved the high ceilings, everything just makes you feel cozy as soon as you walk past the door. We'll definitely be back soon for another getaway. Such a great location, walking distance to the main drag of Julian, but enough off of the beaten path that there weren't swarms of people, even at midday on a Saturday. The only (and I mean only) suggestion I have for improvement was the oddly sweet smoky smell that permeated through the cabin - understandable, as the fireplace seemed very old, and there was a wood fire pit outside, but it was like they tried to cover it with air freshener and it just didn't work. Not a detractor at all, we still loved our stay!

Delightful little place for stay in Julian. Everything you need for short stay. Word of caution that there are steps to get down to the apartment. Got here in dark and step were a surprise Not normally a problem but husband uses a cane so it was tricky. The property has two places with entrances on level ground. Just not something I thought to check since the unit is one level. Not property management problem. Problem in my research. Can easily walk to everything in Julian and leave car parked. Loved fenced backyard for our dog and to bring the outside inside.
