The Beach House is located a stones throw away from Tobacco Bay , a short walk to the Town of St. George, The St. Regis Resort and Five Forts Golf Club.

About the Space:
The house is a two story modern Beach House.
The ground floor has an open concept family room equipped with all the luxurious amenities you would need such as High speed Internet/WiFi, Internet TV, a 50" T.V, a Surround System and full size sleeper sofa.
The ground floor also boasts a Breakfast bar with stunning water views.
The modern kitchen also on the ground floor has stainless steel appliances such as a Dishwasher, Gas Stove and large fridge and Microwave. The ground floor also has a full bathroom & Washer.
The second floor has a second full Bathroom, the Master bedroom with a King size bed , walk-in-closet, and a large balcony overlooking Tobacco Bay.
The Balcony is perfect for an afternoon nap in the hammock or enjoy sunset dinner.
The second bedroom also on the second floor has a Queen bed with water views.
Across the hall, there is a Linen closet with storage for luggage.

Davidā€™s home was PARADISE My family and I were able to enjoy gorgeous views and were so comfortable. The beds are extremely comfortable and the home was clean and felt like home. Iā€™d visit again

This was our first time in Bermuda. One of the people in our party used to live here when the military base was still open. Though it was his first time returning. Our rental was in the perfect location. The only snafus were checking-in, the ceiling fan did not work, and a couple burners on the oven did not work. For some reason I did not receive the check-in code from Vrbo. Luckily, David always answered his phone. I was able to get inside with his help. Do yourself a favor and READ the 'welcome booklet'. It has helpful tidbits along with coupon codes for restaurants and shops. I'd also suggest taking stock of what's in the cupboards and storage room. We ended purchasing items that were already stocked. Thankfully, this rental had nearly everything needed for the week: snorkel gear, sunscreen/sunblock, beach towels, beach gear, pantry items, etc. Considering the vehicle rentals do not allow for regular-sized suitcases, a well-stocked Vrbo is quite the godsend. We had some issues with GPS, but if you plug in Tobacco Bay Beach club, GPS will take you straight to the front facing parking spot of the rental. It's also the address I would give a taxi driver since the entrance of Tobacco Bay is directly across the street from the property. Midway through our trip we were gifted with handmade Swizzle rum, it was far better than any we had at local restaurants. I'm sure that statement might get me barred from aforementioned venues, but it's nevertheless true. Hoping we get to return

perfect views

This rental was perfect! The proximity to tobacco bay was amazing, just walk across the street, more like a path. The porch off the second floor gave us a perfect view of the bay. The snorkeling was incredible, we snorkeled everyday. The restaurant on the bay had delicious fish meals. We walked into town everyday for groceries and to explore the historical sights. My only suggestion would be for the owner to add a single bed in the larger bedroom. I slept on the pull out sofa which didn't allow for me to sleep in. Otherwise, it was a perfect vacation. We will be back.

We had a quick getaway and just loved this place. Close to Tobacco Bay and a short walk to town. Host was great as well. We will definitely try to get this place for our next trip!

Amazing spot and location

We had the best timeā€¦. Walked to town, rented scooters, found the best taxi driver. A perfect spot, exactly what we needed. Owners were very communicative and accommodatingā€¦ a truly wonderful experience.

Beautiful view of Tobacco Bay

This was a perfect place to stay for a quiet trip in St. George's. We loved the property, it had everything we needed and the view overlooking Tobacco Bay was great. The property is about a 12-15 min walk into town, but is across the street from the Tobacco Bay Beach Club and a short walk to the St. Regis hotel if you are wanting restaurants. Our host was very responsive and granted us a late check out since our flight was not until later in the afternoon, which was much appreciated.

Bermuda birthday!!

Davids place is wonderful. David provides everything someone would need for a comfortable stay. It is a perfect location for walking about, with a gorgeous beach across the street. Quiet neighborhood. And the people of Bermudans are lovely, kind and friendly people! Would recommend this VRBO and this island to anyone.

Best Location

As a former resident of Bermuda, I knew that this home was the perfect location for my wife and me. We had a great time, visiting Tobacco Bay Beach every day. The Beach Club is great for a quick meal or drinks with a very friendly staff. The beach is a poplar destination for cruise folks, they donā€™t stay long, they have a ship to catch! We rented a scooter to use around the local area, including Coopers Island and itā€™s fantastic beaches. Trips to Hamilton or beyond we use the reliable bus service. As expected, the Bermudians are one of the friendliest people, they love to talk to tourists and make them feel welcome. Davidsā€™s home is well kept, clean and well stocked, even water toys and gear. David is an awesome host, as a VRBO host myself, I know the work it takes to keep clients happy. Returning guests are the best, David creates raving fans.

This home is a in a spectacular location, directly across from gorgeous Tobacco Bay beach club. The house was very clean, well stocked with all the basics that you need. Check in and check out were seamless. The house close to the airport. It is about a mile walk from the house to the town of St George where you will find some nice restaurants, and groceries. We loved the Warf restaurant and ate there twice. The owner was amazing to communicate with and so very helpful. Our only recommendation is that we knew about the owners grandfather on day one. This lovely gentlemen is a taxi driver who graciously took us to the airport on our last day.If we knew of him sooner we would have hired him for our entire trip. He was a wealth of knowledge, loved to share and was so kind. David you should include hi info in the house book.

Comfortable and Relaxing

This house is a great place to stay! It was clean, well stocked with beach toys and kitchen equipment. The hosts are very responsive and special people. I'd suggest you take the time to visit their store in Hamilton, if not to buy anything (although you will be tempted) but to meet them. The house is truly at a very nice beach that is great for small children as well as adults. We mostly just walked to everything; historic locations, scenic vistas, other beaches and of course restaurants and a grocery store. At the public beach club across the street they were helpful finding us someone to tour us around the island. You should be aware that the only balcony at the house is off the master bedroom and it has a tall table and chairs to view over the wall. The breezes are nice but the one drawback is that the view is interrupted by a telephone pole and lots of wires. Also if you have little kids be very careful because the access from the front of the house is literally the road, on a blind curve. Most people toot their horns but you do want to watch it. We liked that this was the quiet part of Bermuda, not the bigger city of Hamilton nor too close to the cruise ships. We did have a couple of vans dropping people at the beach but it wasn't too crowded.

Location, location, location

The Modern Beach House@Tobacco Bay is lovely. The balcony off the master bedroom provides a great view of Tobacco Bay with really nice sunsets. The TB Beach Club has great wahoo nuggets, cold beer, and a full bar and is right outside the front door. The Five Forts golf course at the St Regis is a five minute walk and is well maintained with incredible ocean views. Kings Square is a short walk and has everything you need- a grocery store, liquor store, and several excellent restaurants/bars. White Horse and Wahooā€™s were our favorites, but every place we went to was great- excellent food, drinks, and service. The house was as advertised- clean with a well equipped kitchen, nice big screen TV with lots of channels, comfortable bedding, and everything we needed during our five day stay. Our host David was great to deal with. Communicated well and was very responsive when we had questions. His grandfather even picked us up at the airport and took us back when it was time to go home. St Georgeā€™s isnā€™t Hamilton, but thatā€™s ok. Less crowded but with plenty of history and everything you need to enjoy a laid back vacation on a beautiful island with friendly people. Five stars.

I grew up in the town of St. George's and i became a business owner and a father in this town. I love boating and watching football. I am a family man who just loves to relax when I can. I love meeting new people and giving them the experience of living on the beach in Bermuda.

I grew up a short walk from Tobacco Bay and as a child my brother and I would come to spend the day at Tobacco Bay almost every weekend. This is and has always been my favorite beach in the entire world. I have so many memories at this beach as a child planning voyages on the sea with my best friends at the time. I was lucky enough to purchase this house as my first home. This was the home I started my family in and ironically if you look out of the bedroom window you can see where i got married at Fort St. Catherine. Why this property? Every morning I would wake up and look out my window it creates the feeling that this is paradise. Having a 180 Panoramic view of the water has a calming affect. This house is the definition of a Beach House. Close enough to see and hear whats going on but far enough that you can have your own private balcony on the beach. This is also the second most popular beach in Bermuda since forever. The Crystal clear turquoise waters will mesmerize you from every room but the bathrooms. Have you ever woken up to an empty calm beach before? It's the best feeling in the world.

Not many houses in Bermuda have a beach front. Even those that are on the beach front do not have a beach front great for kids. Tobacco Bay is an enclosed area. The rocks protect the beach and its visitor's from rough waters and big waves. This is a great location for Children to play. This is also a great place to be social. Tobacco Bay Beach Bar is vibrant in the day, I will encourage any guest that stay here to go and have a look. Also this house is great if you just want to be on the beach all day and not be in the sun. Our balcony offers shade up until 4pm when the sun starts to set. Then you are in for a treat. The sunsets here are phenomenal. Everyday in the summer many people gather at Tobacco Bay to watch the sunset.
