Great house with some problems.

The house was great and all but the wifi there was horrible, it kept turning off every second. Wifi was needed because there was no service. Another thing we are obligated to take our trash with us.

Hi Rafael, we want all our guests to rest easy when they stay with us and we're sorry to hear that you experienced a couple of issues during your trip. The homeowner would like to clarify the following: - We have a fully functioning, high-speed internet service at the home. When you reached out about it, we confirmed the name of the wifi, and did not hear back from you so we are sorry to hear that you had continued issues with this. - We ask that guests remove their trash as they check out as part of the departure instructions. These are sent in the pre-arrival email, two weeks before your stay so that guests have time to plan their trip accordingly. We do all we can to make it the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

Beautiful but bathroom issues

House and location is beautiful but upon arrival we found signs in all the bathroom that toilet paper must not flushed , this is something that should not happen in a rental house. If there are plumbing issues they need to be fixed prior to having people at your home. Luckily it was a group of guys so we made it work. But it would not of gone so well if our wives were there.

The property is on a septic system, and the notes are there as a precautionary measure for guests who may be unfamiliar with the strain that can be put on septic plumbing. Great place to hang out with friends

The cabin and nearby scenery is gorgeous. The inside was bigger than we thought and there were plenty of comfy beds and seating for us. Everything was neat and clean when we arrived and it was overall just a great place to relax and have a good time. It was also isolated enough that we could enjoy nature in peace but still a quick drive to the nearby resort and other restaurants and things. May was a great host. She responded quickly to any questions we had and made sure we were informed about anything we needed to know. All in all a great experience. Would definitely recommend.

Cabin of my dreams

My boyfriend and I stayed here with 3 other couples, and their kids (ages 1,2, and 10). The house was very clean! Furnished beautifully. It had everything we needed. It was comfortable and spacious. More than I could have asked for. The deck on the back pro died more than enough room for everyone to hang out with the creek just steps away with lots of fish! We fished all weekend (throwing back in everything) and captured a couple crawfish at night that the kids thought were really cool to see. The house is air conditioned very well. There is an abundance of seating area, we had 11 people and never felt cramped. The small kids had more than enough room to run around within view. The house was lovely. The property was gorgeous. I would stay here again a million times. It is also very close to town so running to get anything we needed were very quick trips. This was a prime location, while still letting you feel like you're at a secluded cabin in the woods. Great great great place!! The host is also wonderful, kind, and quick to respond to all questions. Very nice time.

One of the best experience!!!

This place is one of the nicest place I have ever been. Place has everything that one big family needs to enjoy the weekend. This place is also close to major tourist attractions. May the property manager very friendly and very supportive towards everything you need. The house has all the activities you need to make a perfect stay. I would definitely visit this place again!! I highly recommend this place not only to enjoy PA outdoors activities, and tourist attractions but also the house itself is a treat!!! Finally, thank you so much for the amazing experience and hospitality.

Nature, privacy, comfort & convenience!!

If you enjoy nature paired with convenience book this house!! My friends and I go camping every summer but thought we would try a house this year. Our biggest concern was to still feel secluded in nature. This place did not disappoint!! We had the luxury of beds, a kitchen & bathrooms but with nature right out the back door! The house was spacious with plenty of places to relax or sit at one of the tables (each seat at least 6 adults) and enjoy meals together. We took full advantage of the full kitchen making many delicious meals with all of the essentials provided (pots, pans, coffee maker, toaster, oven/range. 9 of us slept comfortably throughout the 5 bedrooms and easily shared the 2 1/2 baths. Although, we spent most of our time outside taking in the beautiful property when inside there are so many windows you can still enjoy the view from just about anywhere in the house! As wonderful as the house is with all of its mountain house character the backyard is the clear star of the show. There is a huge deck with a picnic table and nature as far as you can see! There is a charming stream right off the deck with lots of fish and although we didn’t fish we were welcomed to. With the exception of running to the local market (a few choices less than a 10min drive) we did not see another human our entire stay only some deer and the egret that visited us everyday looking for fish in the stream. There is even a huge sunny front lawn perfect for yard games or a picnic. It’s truly a lived in & loved mountain home from top to bottom! From the moment I made the reservation the owner was available, helpful & so accommodating and checked in through text throughout our stay to make sure all was going okay. She even left a sweet note with a bottle of wine and fresh flowers for check-in!!! Thanks May! We will surely be returning!!

Great experience

Great experience for a weekend with friends. The property is nice. The rooms are basic AC works well. Oven was not functional as it's missing knobs. Everything was as expect except the signs stating you must not flush tissue due to septic tank...very odd. This should be listed on listing as well along with the requirements to remove your own trash. Local trash disposal is closed on Sundays. Overall very happy with stay.

Excellent stay, minor issue

It was an excellent stay, everything was great. Only negative is regarding the issue of toilet paper. There is a sign that says toilet paper must be thrown out in the trash vice being flushed due to having a septic. I have a septic at my home and I have never heard such a thing. So the fact you have to throw your own trash away, that will be filled with soiled toilet paper can make a long distance drive home very uncomfortable.

Amazing Home

This is a great and beautiful home sitting on a stream. Everything was like the pictures and even more than we could wish for. We rented this place for a family gathering. Everyone was amazed and very impressed by how nice, clean and comfortable the house itself was and by the charming surroundings. Just minutes away to a lot of outdoor fun activities, such as ski resort, an indoor outdoor waterpark, outlet mall, casino and much more. We gladly recommend this place to everyone. We will definitely be back in the future. The owner was super nice and responsible and thanks for a check in surprise - a bottle of wine and some flowers!
