Lazy Bear Lodge was a tired corporate-run party cabin—until we moved in with a vision of creating a retreat for family and friends, with a touch of tropical-disco glamour. With plenty of space to spread out, the teens can shoot pool under the disco ball while the adults relax on the main level. Or one group can watch a movie in the surround sound theater, while other friends catch up on the deck under the setting sun. With such a central location – just a few minutes drive from Wears Valley, Dollywood, and The Island in Pigeon Forge, and a short drive to Gatlinburg and The Great Smoky Mountain National Park – you can take in all the attractions and be home to catch that sunset.

Each bedroom has a flat-screen Roku TV, and several offer ensuite bathrooms. One king suite features a private balcony. The main-floor primary suite includes its own bath with a massage shower. Whether you're turning in early or sleeping in late, there’s a cozy corner for everyone.

Cook, Gather, Feast:
The kitchen is fully stocked for real meals, not just takeout and coffee. Granite counters, tons of prep space, and everything from a crockpot to a pod-style and drip coffee maker make group meals easy. We’ve included plenty of cookware, glassware, and kid-friendly plates and utensils.
Step outside and fire up the gas grill (with complimentary propane) for dinner with a view—there’s plenty of space to dine with the Smoky Mountains as your backdrop.

Gather 'Round:
The living room is built for downtime—with a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, large-screen Roku TV, leather couches, and room to stretch out after a day of adventuring. Watch a movie, play a board game, or just unwind while dinner sizzles in the kitchen nearby.

Play & Chill Spaces:
Lazy Bear Beach Lounge is where Lazy Bear goes to party and relax. Sip a mojito under our thatched roof “beach bar”, dance under the disco ball, Lounge and pose in front of our hand-painted mural, or sink a shot on our teal-felt pool table. The lounge also packs a retro multicade, full-size foosball, and a wet bar ready for your best cocktail flair—all wrapped in that signature tropical disco glam vibe. Head upstairs when you’re craving a little extra competition—the full-size air-hockey table sits in the open loft so everyone can cheer (or heckle) from below.
100-Inch Cinema. When it is time to just sit back, pile into the bean-bag pit and fire up the old-time popcorn machine, and settle in with the 100-inch surround-sound theater for movies, game day, or late-night karaoke videos.

Mountain Views, Morning to Night:
Step onto any of the three levels of decks and take in the ridge views. The decks are lined with rocking Adirondack chairs, and the private hot tub is ready for a long soak as the sun sets behind the Smokies. One of the king bedrooms in the loft even has its own private deck—perfect for a quiet moment away from the group.

Bathrooms & Laundry:
With six full bathrooms - five with tubs and one with a jetted shower - there’s no waiting in line here. Every bathroom has A+ water pressure, and is stocked with shampoo, body wash, and a hair dryer, plus plenty of towels for your group. You’ll also find a washer and dryer, perfect for mid-trip refreshes or post-hike cleanups.

Thoughtful Touches & Personalized Hosting:
We provide a starter supply of coffee, creamer, body wash, shampoo, soap, trash bags, dishwasher and laundry detergent, paper towels, and toilet paper. You may need to purchase more during your stay. While mid-stay cleaning isn’t included, we’re happy to arrange a mid-stay clean or trash pickup for an additional fee if needed.
