This beautiful mountain home with panoramic views of the Sierras is ideal for your Tahoe/Truckee vacation retreat. This home is in a great neighborhood and is conveniently located to just about everything you'll want to see or do in the area. We're just minutes from downtown Truckee, Northstar, Donner Lake, Lake Tahoe, Truckee river, Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Sugar Bowl and more.
This spacious and inviting home with its gourmet kitchen is perfect for entertaining, with enough space for two families or more to stay comfortably. The fully equipped kitchen has granite counters and many extras such as bread machine and coffee maker. The center island has bar seating making it a sociable place to prepare meals together.
The house is furnished with contemporary mountain decor. The living room has cathedral ceilings and large windows giving stunning views of the Sierras. If you can take your eyes off the view, there's a 65 inch Smart TV, blu-ray player with a selection of blu-rays for adults and kids . There's cable TV and high speed wireless internet.
You can enjoy a glass of wine on one of the four decks. There's also a large, gas powered outdoor grill on the main deck. You can gaze at the wonderful view whilst relaxing in the hot tub which is located on one of the lower decks. Alternatively, just relax by the stove heaters or in the downstairs studio recreation room, playing pool on the beautiful pool table which can also be converted to a ping pong table, or just reading a book. Or simply take advantage of the number of outdoor activities just beyond your doorstep that Truckee/Tahoe has to offer.

Winter wonderland vibes only! Spent an epic weekend at this cozy Vrbo house and it did NOT disappoint! Kids will LOVE the snow play - we built an epic snowman ! The house was perfect for cooking up some warm comfort food . And after hours of tubing, nothing beats unwinding in the hot tub . Highly recommend for a fun, relaxing winter getaway!

Family Vacation

This was a great centralized vacation spot for my family for the 4th of July! There was enough room for everyone to be comfortable. The game room downstairs was a hit for the teenagers. There are a lot of stairs, so may not be the best spot for elderly family members who struggle with mobility, or really young kiddos who could take a tumble. We had a great time!

Wonderful Views and Well Appointed

This cabin was wonderful for our annual snow trip with friends. The view is amazing. The house is so well organized and appointed. Everything went smoothly with our stay. Also, there was no to-do list for check out which was refreshing.Plenty of bathrooms and hot water to keep up with all the rinsing off we all did after soaking in the hot tub. It was just a lovely experience and we look forward to coming back next year!

Fantastic getaway for a group

This was our first trip to Tahoe and it was the perfect place for our family trip! We were staying with two families - including 6 adults, 2 teenage boys and 1 pre-teen girl - who lived the game room and tvs. We all enjoyed the hot tub - especially since we were there during the first snow in Tahoe in August in 30+ years! The deck views were gorgeous, close to downtown Truckee and Donner Lake - perfect for a day trip - and easy access to Lake Tahoe. Our hosts were very accessible and accommodating. We would definitely recommend staying here in any season.

Family Reunion

The home was outstanding and the stay was perfect. Family Reunion in Truckee was a great setting in a wonderful town. We had ten in our party (7 adults and 3 children ages 12-14). This house was perfect for all our sleeping arrangements, with plenty of space and activities to keep everyone entertained. The hosts were more than accommodating, answering any question or inquiry we had prior to our arrival. They provided us with a great list of places nearby to visit or dine. Overall we were extremely pleased with how all the arrangements were handled through VRBO and directly with our hosts. This is a gorgeous home, and we would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to stay in the Truckee/Lake Tahoe area.

Donner Vacation

Tahoe Spring Break

We had a wonderful week for our family spring break. The house was spacious and well stocked. Our kids loved the pool table and we all enjoyed the beautiful views from the deck. Easy access to town and a short drive to ski at Palisades!

Great house! Sunny views, hottub, plenty of room

Good communication during the whole process, super responsive when we had questions. Great kitchen, lovely views, hottub was so nice to enjoy after skiing all day. We shoveled a bit of snow off the main deck so that we could take advantage of the sun & comfortable seating out there. The couches upstairs and in the game room are not sofabeds, but there are airbeds to use if needed. Overall, we loved our time there and would definitely stay again!

Excellent Location

Lovely home with excellent layout. The game room downstairs was nice, with our only suggestion is to increase the WiFi range to allow smoother TV response. We had a pleasant time at this home. We would definitely return. Thank you.

Family ski vacation

We had a group of 10 for a family ski reunion and every one of us was very pleased. Well appointed and spacious. Plenty of room for all of us and lots of room for activities. Everything worked great. I highly recommend this accommodation!

Very cozy, spacious. Beautiful home, close to downtown and shopping. Huge kitchen, fun game room. Only turn off is road noise from freeway when windows/sliders were open but other than that you can’t hear it.

Great location!

We had a wonderful stay at Antonia's house. It is so close to Donner lake which is were we spent most of the day. The house had everything we needed and was perfect for a girls trip.The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook. Antonia was very responsive on VRBO prior to trip and during for any questions that come up. I would definitely come back!

Family getaway

Great property. We had a party of 10 and everyone had their own room and space. The downstairs game room was a hit with the kids. They loved the pool table! Great location and close proximity to Donner Lake, while also just being a short drive to Lake Tahoe. The hot tub was a great way to end the day after hiking and swimming. Would come back and stay again!!

Chris is an eco-engineer specializing in hydrology and Antonia a high school math teacher.
