Beautiful Tahoe Donner Home With Spectacular Views

Sip your morning coffee on the expansive back deck while watching the sun rise over the Carson Mountain Range!

This is a spacious, beautifully decorated and newly furnished 4 bedroom 2.5 bath Tahoe Donner home. National Forest hiking trails are right outside the front door. Itā€™s just a five minute drive to the Tahoe Donner Recreation Complex which offers two Olympic sized pools, two large playgrounds, a fully equipped fitness center, 11 hard tennis courts, an equestrian center, a bike shop and 18 holes of world-class golf.

In addition, Tahoe Donner Association also offers a private beach area (with easy access parking) for guests on crystal-clear Donner Lake. Most of the Association's facilities are available for a fee for up to 6 guests. Some restrictions apply over major holidays.

Donner Lake and Historic Downtown Truckee are about 10 minutes away offering outstanding restaurants and delightful shopping. The Tahoe Donner Ski Resort is just two miles from the house. Other major ski resorts are close by, including Northstar, Squaw Valley and Soda Springs. A couple of the ski resorts estimate they'll be open for skiing through June and possibly July! (Call the resort to confirm.)

The home's beautiful great room, with open plan kitchen, dining room and living area, includes a gas fireplace surrounded by stone, which provides a casual mountain ambiance. In addition, thereā€™s a large flat screen smart TV, Blu-ray player, complimentary high-speed WiFi, two leather sofas with cushy pillows and a game table for puzzles, card playing, etc. There is an additional (non-smart) TV in the largest downstairs bedroom.

The stainless steel and granite kitchen is fully stocked and beautifully appointed for 8 people, and a huge island, with bar seating, provides plenty of space to create delicious meals and enjoy cocktail hour! The rear deck off the dining room and kitchen, which faces the Carson Range, offers an outdoor sofa, table and chairs, and a Weber BBQ. The large front deck off the living room has a large outdoor table, umbrella, and seating for 8.

This large, two-story mountain home is ideal for a single or multi-family summer early fall vacation. It is fully equipped with 4 newly decorated bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The upstairs main bedroom has a comfortable king bed and a Jacuzzi tub with mountain views in the en suite bath. There are three bedrooms and one bath downstairs. The largest of these bedrooms has a king bed. The other two bedrooms each have queen beds. The house comfortably sleeps 8 people. A laundry is also available for your use. This home is not baby/toddler safe.

This home has a two-car garage with plenty of room to store kayaks, canoes, paddle boards and beach gear. In addition, there is parking for an additional two cars.

Beautiful cabin with spectacular views

Cabin was well appointed and very comfortable. Loved the layout of the bedrooms and decks to enjoy the view and very close to everything we wanted to do in the Tahoe Donner area. I would definitely return to this property again. The host was very accommodating.

Wonderful house in Truckee

Super great property, a couple hours in the afternoon, would have loved some AC, but did cool down in the evenings -everything we needed and more in all the bathrooms and kitchen, plenty of nice towels and comfortable beds and pillows.

We loved out stay! So nicely appointed and super comfortable beds and accommodations! We were there for a huge storm and the roads can be tricky. Communications with the hosts were great. Cant wait to go back!

This house is immaculate! It has everything you need for the perfect stay. The beds are super comfortable and the master shower is awesome! It has the best view from the patio as well. We loved staying here and will definitely come back!

Lovely cabin

This was our second stay at this property and it was just as great as the first. Beautiful view, wonderful layout, comfortable beds, fantastic kitchen. We got unlucky with the weather so the skiing was not all we hoped it would be. The house was though!

The Great outdoors

The amenities of the house were excellent !!!! We had a wonderful stay. We ran ,hiked ,Mt.Biked, Swam, cold plunged. we made the most of it. The accommodation's were perfect. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful mountain retreat

House is spacious with a great layout. Kitchen is very well equipped. Beds were very comfortable. And the view is just gorgeous! We have rented in the Tahoe Donner area several times before and this is absolutely the nicest house we have stayed in. Hope to return.

Great stay

We had a great time, the house was clean and well stocked. Plenty of seating in the family room and at the dinning table. The king bedroom downstairs had a twin sleeper couch that was great for their 6 year old. We were able to create a sled path for the little ones, which is always plus. Communication was easy and Lynn responded right away. Perfect for multi generational family vacation.

All the Comforts of Home!

From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home! This cabin is beautifully decorated with comfortable furniture and beds, is extremely clean and well maintained and the kitchen is well stocked with high quality items! The house has beautiful view. The owner even turned on the heat for us before we arrived. The backyard is full of snow for the kids to play. Everyone enjoyed this trip. Everything was perfect!

This home was perfect for our needs. Not to far out of town and with a great view. One of the reasons we enjoy renting homes opposed to hotel rooms would be the ability to prepare our own meals. This house had the best kitchen and stocked with everything we needed to use for preparing our meals that we have experienced. Great place to come home to at the end of the day.

Perfect in every way

Best rental Iā€™ve ever stayed in. The cabin was spotlessly clean, well appointed and well stocked, comfortable beds, excellent location and the owners were so accommodating in every way. My kids commented repeatedly how nice the cabin was and theyā€™ve stayed in some nice places. The view off the deck is beautiful and the sunrises were phenomenal. The cabin has great hills aside and behind it. My kids made a sled and ski/snowboard ramp that we were able to launch some fun jumps. I canā€™t wait to return next year and for longer!

Great family property

Our week long stay with 3 generations of our family was great. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We are a family that likes to cook and the kitchen was well equipped with all the necessities and beyond. Large bedrooms with comfortable beds, a stocked laundry room, with plenty of bath towels, a spacious living room with large tv. There was just enough snow on the ground for the kids to use the sleds provided by the property owners to have a great time on the sloped backyard. Property owners are very personable and checked in with us shortly after our arrival to see if we needed anything. Location makes for an easy drive to all of the area amenities. We will definitely stay here again for our annual winter vacation.

Our family loves the mountains! Swimming in Donner lake, skiing in the Tahoe area, golfing, hiking, relaxing by our fireplace or just enjoying the view - you name it and we love doing it! We've lived all lived and grown up in the San Francisco Bay Area, and, after renting season after season, we decided to buy! Our home is beautifully decorated, comfortable and well appointed for a group of 8 people.

We chose this home because of its spectacular views of the Carson Range and its layout....a lovely, spacious open concept kitchen, dining and living area with plenty of seating, leather sofas and a game table! We can hike the Tahoe National Forest by walking about 500 feet from our front door. World class skiing is a sort drive depending on where you want to ski!
