We had a wonderful time staying here. The unit was as described, very clean and had great amenities. The accommodations worked well for our children (they enjoyed the games provided). I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Amazing Stay in Kihei

We loved staying at this VRBO! Check in through the condo office was very easy- instructions on how to do this were clear and sent in advance. The property was beautiful and directly across from Kam III beach. The condo was spotless and had all the amenities we needed (including shampoo, soaps, laundry detergent etc). Loved the snorkel gear and beach equipment that were provided. The air worked well and blinds helped make it nice and dark for sleep. Pool and hot tub were fun and we loved being so close to the beach and Waleai. There was some construction at the complex during our stay but it was never loud and the only impact it had on us was that it was open parking versus an assigned spot. We never had trouble finding a spot right by our building.

Fantastic Maui trip

This condo worked perfectly for two couples. And we were happy to find beach chairs, umbrella and cooler - used them a ton! The location was great - we walked to dinner every night. We recommend this place!

Great experience for whole family

Great location walking within 2 minutes to the beach. Condo has very thoughtful supplies and everything we needed. Multiple AC units. Unit is clean and quite. Definitely recommend this unit.

Perfect for five!

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay during our vacation to Maui! This condo fit our family of five perfectly - it was so nice that our three children were able to stay in one room (1 queen & 1 twin) rather than someone having to sleep on a pull-out couch. It was nice for them to have their space while mom & dad had our own. So many included extras: (5 beach chairs, 6 beach towels, a boogie board, a cooler and ice packs, dish soap, laundry soap, shampoo & conditioner & body wash, etc. We loved having breakfast on the lanai most mornings and the kids enjoyed playing UNO in the spare moments between activities. We highly recommend this condo to anyone who needs a home away from home while on Maui!

Awesome Family Location

We just spent 10+ days and it was perfect. This was our third time to this complex and the nicest unit we have been in. Access to the unit was right off the elevator but no noise concerns at all. View of the ocean from the lanai which was covered when it rained. Bedrooms were great and the furnishings were very comfortable. The unit was stocked with a number of essentials for the beach, kitchen and washroom. The complex as a whole was also great. We made use of the tennis courts and free pickleball classes when offered. Pool and various spas were also awesome and temperatures were great. Communication with the hosts was also great. We didnā€™t have too many questions but they responded super quick and kept us updated on things even prior to our arrival. We would definitely book this unit again!

Very conveniently located

We really enjoyed our stay and all the amenities. The provided chairs umbrella and cooler were much appreciated. I also loved there were reusable ice blocks for the cooler. And the ice maker in the fridge. The beds were very comfy with nice bedding.

Amazing.

The place was great. Location great. We were there the night the fires started. JD and Rumi were amazing. They checked in on us to make sure we were ok and offered to have us stay in the place if we couldn't get off the island. Highly recommend this place and thank you to JD and Rumi for caring and looking after us.

Enjoyable stay

We enjoyed our stay. The property was exactly as pictured. Thoughtful amenities in the kitchen, for the beach and even a small library. Great location for all we did. AC and fans kept us cool. Family Vacation June 2023

We stayed at At JD and Rumiā€™s condo the end of June 2023. The condo was just as pictured. Check in was a breeze, the condo is about 3min walk to Kam III, right across the street. We saw turtles feeding there on several evenings. The activities director at the pool had great tips on places to see while we were there, including a beach on the north end to see very large turtles and surfers. The condo was well stocked with zip lock bags, basic seasoning. There was an ice chest that came in handy plus 5 beach chairs, pool noodle and misc beach equipment, including some very nice towels for the beach. The wash machine and dryer were much appreciated including having soap on hand for laundry. Each bathroom was equipped with shampoo and conditioner. We tried to keep the condo sand free and tidy, I may suggest a small handheld vac for quick clean up. The grounds were very well kept at the complex and the neighbors we met were all very kind. The unit has AC which comes in handy on hot evenings. This was our first visit to Maui and now having traveled the island during our stay, I would have to say the south side of the island is the best. Much more peaceful and less crowded. Hope to come back soon!

Loved this condo!!!!

This condo was wonderful. The location was fabulous. Really close to some great beaches and some good snorkeling. The condo itself was very clean and comfortable. Itā€™s beautifully decorated, and the views from the deck were spectacular. It was well stocked with everything you might need. There were plenty of items in the kitchen including some pantry items like salt and pepper. There was plenty of beach equipment like beach chairs, towels, an umbrella and coolers. The owners were wonderful. You can tell they take pride in their property. I am a little picky about where we stay, and I would highly recommend this place. It helped make our Maui visit even more special!!!

My fiancƩe and I stayed at Kamaole Sands for our second time, this time with my father. We previously stayed in building #9. This 2-bedroom unit was perfectly situated off the elevator, close to pool/ BBQ/ beach and the assigned parking was incredibly close. The ocean view from the lanai was spectacular. Our hosts were good with communication and very accommodating with a late check-out. This unit was fully equipped and the beds comfortable. This unit is worth the stay!

A little Paradise Hideaway...

Met beyond our expectations. Fully furnished, equipped, applianced...met all our vacation island needs without having to go out of our way to get stuff. We stayed for a week. We only bought food and drink, and a few spices only to find out they had plenty of spices in the kitchen. Even have beach stuff available for beach days. Only thing difficult is getting the cable TV going. It wasn't as user friendly despite instuctions, but you can use smart apps on their TVs like Netlflix which was much easier. You have a carport but from experience was a tad tight with a car bigger than a sedan. We had a full SUV and it was a bit snug that we unloaded before parking. Neighboring guest or owners were pleasant. Decent amenities like the pool, hot tub and BBQ areas. Owner was easy to communicate with and answered any questions I had. Also loved location...not too busy, with nearby grocery, beach and gift shops. And thankful for fans and AC in the condo. However would have appreiated a fan or AC closer to kitchen and dining area.

First family trip to Maui

This was a very comfortable home with everything we could need during our stay. The (unexpected) beach chairs, towels, cooler, etc. really made our day trips to different beaches more enjoyable. The convenience of having a washer and dryer ended up being extremely important, and something I didn't consider before the trip. After exploring all day, Kamaole Beach III across the street turned out to be the perfect place for the kids to return to each night for body boarding, and to experience the sunset. I hope we have an opportunity to stay here in the future. Thank you!

Family vacay

This unit provides ample kitchen supplies and is comfortably clean. The king bed is awesome, while the other beds need some attention. Great location and the pool is wonderful. This unit is close to the elevator which is convenient but also adds some early morning and night noise. Overall comfortable with great AC.

Beautiful condo

Great location with plenty of space and all the amenities you can imagine. Beautifully furnished and well stocked. Directly off the elevator with parking right below. On the backside of the complex with our own gate for quick access to the beach. Our hosts were easy to communicate with and responded quickly. We hope to stay at this amazing property again soon
