For preservation and safety reasons, we kindly ask that guests do not attempt to open any windows, as they are sealed or fragile and not designed for regular use. The fireplace in the home is decorative only and not for use. While it adds historic charm to the space, it is not functional.

2. Appalachian Trail (distance from house - walkable): Runs through Harpers Ferry, and the town is often considered the "psychological halfway point" for thru-hikers.
