Love this location! The home is immaculate and exceptionally well stocked, the property is stunning (landscaping is WOW), and the backyard is so fun. Awesome pool, bocci ball court, ping pong, hot tub, etc. Lounge chairs for days and several unique, hidden spots to be found on the extensive grounds.The best part of all is the terrific owner. He's a great communicator, was uber helpful, and made sure we had everything needed for a 3 day stay for our group of high school friends traveling with our teenage sons.Regarding the location, the neighborhood is absolutely awesome! Very private home nestled on the edge of a large, hilly neighborhood. For runners, it's a great location for putting in 4 or 5 mile runs, or longer if you don't mind loops. It's hilly, but the neighborhood roads are quiet and scenery is spectacular. Look forward to staying here again for our next trip to the Laguna Seca area!

Friends get away

The location was great. We loved the big kitchen to gather and play cards in the evening. The outdoor space was spacious and inviting. We loved the pizza oven too!

Paradise in Carmel

Our home was fabulous. Our host more than fabulous. He took care of everything for us and was so available. We could not have asked for a better house for 11 of us. From the linens to the 4 oven gourmet kitchen to the most beautiful grounds. Gorgeous flowers and lemon trees! The entire stay was perfect and we are so grateful!

The property is absolutely breathtaking! Our whole family enjoyed morning walks around the trails, afternoon swims in the pool, and dinner and talking around the kitchen and dining room. We would definitely stay here again. It was very special to us, as we were cousins getting together to remember our parents and some of us were meeting for the first time. Gerard was a fabulous host who made us feel welcome and wasn't intrusive at all.

Easter and twins 32nd Birthdays

Our family celebration was the best and even more than we imagined. Gerard was so helpful from the get go and even though we didnā€™t need anything it was nice to know he was available if needed. The property has so many little quiet get away spots to enjoy the water features on a bench or swing. The pool and hot tub was perfect and all the en suite bedrooms were so comfortable. Lots of space for cooking, eating and gathering. Everyone wants a return trip without question! Fabulous!

Charming Stay in Salinas!

We had an amazing stay! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were super cozy, and we especially loved the peaceful outdoor spaceā€”it was perfect for morning coffee and evening wine. The location was quiet but still close to restaurants and stores. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive from start to finish. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing escape.

Wonderful 80th Birthday Weekend!

What a way to celebrate my dadā€™s birthday. He wanted to be with his kids and grandkids. It was so fantastic. Beds for everyone (all 12 of us) and so many activities. The kitchen had everything we needed for our many feasts. The gardens were beautiful and it was fun seeing bunnies and hawks. The pool and the hot tub were perfect. Hopefully we get to do it again!

Amazing Peaceful Vacation Property

We celebrated our 33rd annual gathering with friends from around the nation. We relaxed by the beautiful pool, cooked in the gourmet style kitchen, played games, read books and went for long walks. This house was a peaceful sanctuary. The owner was very attentive to any questions we had and provided loads of information about the house and property. One of the best properties we have stayed at in our 33 years of vacation rentals.

A Stunning Retreat!

We stayed here over Father's Day Weekend this year with my husband's family and had THE BEST time. You won't find more attentive hosts... we were so friendly and easily in touch about pool/jacuzzi heating, pizza oven and grill usage and any other concerns. Our party consisted of 6 adults and 4 children (one family cancelled). Ample rooms, bathroooms and beds for us all- we saw a few cots and converting sofas. The property owners have really thought of every single amenity and appliance you could need for your stay. The pool was divine and we enjoyed use of the bocce ball, golf, pool and ping pong tables. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds and ample linens for beds, bathroom and pool. We LOVED walking in the garden and looking at the different species of flowers and fruit growing. The kids picked a couple of ripe lemons and we made lemonade! The location was stellar- 30-50 min away from everything we wanted to do. We went to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk and Pacific Grove. With more time we would have easily visited Monterey and Carmel, but have seen those areas many times in the past.We could see that the residence is a fitting place for a small wedding- I could picture the bride and groom standing in front of the vine-covered garden arch. Parking would probably be off site and shuttle guests in and out.

Family getaway with great amenities

The guest unit was a great space for groomsmen to meet and dress for wedding. Picturesque, serene, and relaxing. Spacious; a family with three generations, (21-87), experienced moments of peace, solitude. We enjoyed relaxing swims, relaxing in the jacuzzi , and quiet relaxing strolls.

Amazing home base for Big Sur vacation!

Thank you, Gerard, for making this week so incredible! Your home was perfect for our family. The 6 grandkids (and adults!) loved the hot tub and the pool. Also, all of the other activities from bocce ball to doing a scavenger hunt with all of the figurines in the beautiful garden. The property was amazing, and the house was so well stocked and comfortable. It truly felt like a luxury vacation. We absolutely want to return to this magical place. Your concern for us and frequent check-ins was appreciated. This deserves more than a 5 star rating!

Amazing Property

We have a family 7 adults and 2 children. We have 3.5 and 1yr. old grandchildren. The house was so spacious, unique, beautiful grounds. So much to do- bocce ball, swim, swing, grill, fire pit, pizza oven. The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were very comfortable. The host family was in constant touch via text- any questions or concerns were immediately answered. Amazing trip- we will definitely go back.

Serene getaway

This home was stocked with everything you could imagine you needed plus ! All the beds were extremely comfortable. We had a blast cooking together in the chefs kitchen; laughing together at both tables, both big enough for our crew of 8. We enjoyed our daily walks through the beautiful neighborhood!
