Take a break from the usual hotel room or bed and breakfast routine and try vacationing in style. Unlike any other vacation rentals, our country estate has everything and is very close to all the Monterey Bay area has to offer. Relax & enjoy our 3 bedrooms home with and a 1 bedroom second guest house for the price of one!
The property is in the Corral de Tierra area conveniently located just south of Monterey, California. A short drive to Laguna Seca (3 minutes), Monterey, Carmel, Pebble Beach, Monterey Bay Aquarium, and Pacific Grove. Downtown Monterey is 15 minutes Google maps has it at 13.4 miles.

Our home is on 1.3 acres all fenced in, with a big back and front yards with gardens and a big playhouse. Very private with an electric gate and a ton of parking. The house is a 2000sf two-story with a balcony. With one bedroom and bath downstairs, 2 bedrooms upstairs and full bathroom. The downstairs kitchen is fully equipped, a stove, dishwasher, side-by-side fridge/freezer, toaster, convection microwave, and coffee maker. Stocked spice-rack kitchen towels, everything you need, granite counters, and a breakfast nook. There is a laundry room with a washer and dryer. It has a big 20 X 15 living room, roll-a-way bed, and a formal dining room.

Free high-speed wireless Internet throughout the property. RVs, Families with Kids are welcome.

Our property will sleep 10-12 adults comfortably.

Monterey is an easy 13-mile drive on Highway 68 a short 15 minutes.

This home is perfect for Laguna Seca races. It has beautiful views also. The guest house is a bonus for lots of room.

Great Place To Stay

Very charming home. Big enough for our group of eight. Setting is so beautiful and also close to Monterey and Carmel. Communication with the owner was easy. He was always responsive to questions and very helpful.

Monterey Car Week Trip

The host was amazing and communicated well. The house was very clean, and the beds and pillows were wonderful. The house is very close to the track for any events you want to attend there. We loved the outside sitting area and the pool house made a great place for us all to share meals and hangout.

Excellent Property close to Laguna Seca

Property was great for our stay. Large parking on site for all of our vehicles. The main house is a historic home and the first developed home in the area if my memory serves me correct. Very clean and a lot of emenities. The guest house was large and modern with a living area space, full kitchen, bar, full bathroom and bedroom. Also the pool table was a nice addition. The outdoor entertaining space was great. Plenty of room for guests to hang out after a long day of exploring Monterey and Carmel which is about 15 min away or about 25min with traffic from car week. The communication with the property manager was great. All our guests had a great time!

Great property with lots of space

The property consists of 2 houses, which both are fully stuffed with spices, so cooking was a breeze. There is a pool table in one of the houses, which was the focal point during our stay.

Beautiful property

The property is very spacious and charming and just like the pictures. My 8 year old grandson loved the hammock and big open spaces. The outdoor space is great for family gatherings and there are lots of outdoor lights for the evenings too. Check-in was easy and the houses are well stocked with pots and pans, plates, etc. to cook and serve family meals. We had events in Carmel and the traffic was often heavy, so allow extra time for travel. The only issue we had was that the bed in the guest house is very high and my elderly parents (88) were not able to use it. They slept on the day bed and trundle instead and enjoyed the house, but it’s good to know. Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely come back if we’re in the area.

Family long weekend break

Wonderful property. The main house was older, 1937, and as such was smaller, quirky and quaint - that said it has all mod cons, WiFi, cable, etc... The guest house was spacious and modern. It worked great for us. My dad had the guesthouse while my husband, kids and I used the main house. The BBQ was put to good use, and the grounds were perfect for the children to play safely without constant supervision. Marty was helpful, and answered any queries quickly. I would highly recommend.

Comfortable, charming, very enjoyable!

We visited as two families with kids among us, and everyone had a great time! The location is convenient for last-minute grocery run we needed for a toddler, and also close to a bunch of restaurants. It has a nice rustic and charming feel to it. The main house was built in 1937!! There was something for everyone to enjoy in the spacious property and grounds. We felt safe throughout, and appreciated the toys & games in outhouse, hammock, swing and playing on the grounds. Would definitely visit again!

Wonderful Property!

A large main house (2 cal-king BRs, 1 BA upstairs; and 1 BR with 2 twin-beds and 1 BA downstairs) and a large guest house (1 queen BR and 1 BA) on a large, beautiful, gated property, made for a wonderful Thanksgiving 2021 stay for my wife, our son and daughter-in-law, and two grandkids 8 and 11. Both houses have full-size, well-equipped kitchens. The spacious grounds are beautiful, with a large, well-furnished patio and BBQ outside the guest house. Everyone enjoyed the pool table in the guest house, especially the grandkids. We spent two days visiting the many attractions in Monterey and Carmel (about a 20 to 25 minute drive), and another day sightseeing and hiking along the coast to Big Sur. We enjoyed staying in this beautiful, quiet, country setting while visiting Monterey, Carmel, and their environs. We highly recommend this wonderful VRBO property.

Great property with lots of outdoor spaces to hang out and relax

This is a great property for family to hang out and relax and use as a base for exploring Carmel, Monterey, and Santa Cruz. The guest house is especially well configured with a huge outdoor area with multiple seating areas and dining tables as well as a nice grill and outdoor kitchen set up. The pool table and hot tub were great and there were lots of little sitting areas around the property to sit and read. Both houses were very clean and well stocked. It really felt like a relaxing peaceful getaway. Marty was very responsive and informative. Hope to return again in the future.

Great spot for families to enjoy a getaway!

We came here with 3 families total - 6 adults and 4 children 2 and under. The photos do not do this property justice! so beautiful and the mids had so much room to run around. Marty was so nice during check in and went over everything that we needed to know about the property. 20 min drive to Carmel and about 15 to Monterey. Hope to stay here again in the future.

Weekend getaway

This place was great for letting the kids run around and the adults hanging out. The kitchen in the guest house along with the grill was great for evening meals. The houses were clean dishes were well stocked. The outdoor grilling area/bar/counter space was very nice though due to general dust and debris needed wiped off but worked well for grilling fresh seafood procured on the pier in Monterey. The bathroom in the guest house is large with two sinks, the two in the house are farmhouse style bathrooms which are small with only one sink each and limited outlets but as expected. It was a limitation on our large group of two families but we worked around it. There are more tables and seating areas than we could possibly use and with the chilly but beautiful weather we spent most of our time outside on the many patio tables. When it did get sunny and warm there was plenty of shade around. We are used to Colorado weather so the daily fog was a different experience vs. the sun we have at home every day but the fact it stayed so cool was a nice retreat from the heat at home. This was a nice place to escape summer heat and great proximity to enjoy the food and atmosphere around Monterey.

Salinas Jewel - perfect spot for a family/friends get together.

Went there for a long weekend. Even before the weekend was over we were already planning on the next time we will be coming back. Plenty of room to spread out or all come together. The outdoor courtyard between the houses was a special place we spent most of our time. Very clean. Great location. Great spot. Will be coming back.

Amazing Property

Marty was a great host and this property had the best balance of space and amenities for accommodating/entertaining young kids and adults. Clean property, prompt and friendly responsiveness from the owner, convenient location , and plenty of privacy. Do not hesitate to give this place a try.

Great for families

We had a great stay at the property. There was space for our kids to play outside. The houses are beautiful and there was constantly different kinds of birds to watch above including woodpeckers, hawks and owls hooting at night. The outside areas were great for hanging out and there was lots of activities like beaches and hikes in the area. A great retreat from our working at home reality during COVID-19. We would definitely stay here again!

Impeccably clean

The property is as charming as you can get. It was impeccably clean and well-stocked. Our family enjoyed both houses, the backyard and convenient location. We would definitely some here again.
