Waterfront beach house.
This charming 1903, tastefully restored, waterfront beach house, has panoramic views of Necanicum River, the Estuary, Tillamook Head and Pacific Ocean. Features include, private steps to the soft sand beach, original woodwork throughout the home and claw foot bath tub. Many modern upgrades compliment the quintessential vintage charm.

Create a moment.
Roomy enough for a family clambake (comfortably sleeps 6), intimate enough for a romantic weekender, this well-appointed home offers great usable space for cooking, indoor and outdoor seating options for drinking and dining, and big fluffy beds to flop down in at the end of the night. Double fridge/freezer, dishwasher and laundry, coffee maker(s) and cable TV, extra soft linens and clean towels, big windows with lots of natural light (and candles tucked away for the evening hours), a working cook’s kitchen and a sloping grassy yard - this is a flexible, livable space that easily adapts to (and inspires) any adventure.

Relax at the coast.
Tilt your Adirondack chair toward the waves, or curl up with a book in the cozy sunroom. Enjoy private beach access - where fresh meets salt water at the intersection of the Necanicum River and the Pacific Ocean - with crabbing, kayaking, fishing, paddle boarding just steps from your door (all required kit for crabbing is awaiting your arrival - so grab it and go get ‘em!). The wine fridge and fully stocked honor bar is at your disposal (house rules: take a little, leave a little... it all balances out).

The location was perfect and the view was amazing. Enjoyed watching people catch clams and crabs at low tide. Easy walk or drive to Seaside Beach. House is well stocked for having family meals and lots of books, games and puzzles. Appreciated the help yourself and leave something for others. We loved the character of the house as it reminded me of the house I grew up in. We visited Gearhart which was a lovely village.

This place was amazing! I knew it was a historic home, which is part of the reason I chose it. The house is so well maintained with an updated kitchen and bath. The view was gorgeous and we spent most of our time in the sun room. We all enjoyed heading down the stairs to the estuary. The decorating was so well done my sister took pictures for inspiration in her own home. Communication with host was great. Check in was easy. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Gorgeous and charming home right on the water. Short, accessible path to the beach and a short walk or drive to town. The house had everything we needed from beach toys to a clam digger and all the kitchen gadgets. We loved our stay!

We loved the house and learned a great deal the history of Seaside and the Estuary outside of the house. The beds were comfortable and the view from two of the three bedrooms was amazing. The kitchen is well-equiped and allowed us to cook great fish dinners. There is a lot equipment for clamming and crabbing. We could have used a little introduction to the process. We did not know you need a liscense and that the best clamming is an hour before low tide. A little info would have helped. The movement of the water and the sunsets from the sunroom is the best thing of the house. We were only three women, but it would be a little harder if there were more people as the upstairs has only a bath tub and the downstairs has a shower. We mainly used the shower. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

Beach heaven

Great, historic home on inlet. Wonderful and comfortable. We spent hours sitting in the sun room drinking coffee and catching up.

Beautiful and charming little beach house!

We had a wonderful stay here, the house was lovely and had everything we could need for our stay. The location was beautiful and just a quick drive into town. The host was great, we had a small issue when we arrived that she promptly addressed (while out of the country!) and followed up to make sure all was well. We hope to be again next year!

There is a lovely ease to this house. The view out the sunroom is constantly changing. All the beds and seating are comfortable. It has the character of a lived in home, beloved by generations. The site is quiet and private. Being in Seaside versus Cannon Beach means it is quieter and has less traffic.

Best Rental on the North Coast

Incredible view. House is very cosy and the kitchen has everything you need. If you're tall be mindful upstairs there are a few ceiling low spots.

Spring break Getaway

This is a great location to get away for a quiet retreat. From the sun room you get a view of the ocean. The kitchen is nicely stocked and makes it easy to prepare meals. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of blankets to stay warm. The family room has plenty of space to spread out and read a book or stream a movie. It's a nice walk into downtown Seaside.

Beautiful Sunsets

Our family really enjoyed staying at this beautiful waterfront home. The house was clean, the home was well stocked with all the essentials and the location was perfect! We spent every morning walking out along the estuary, days down the road walking through the promenade and evenings watching the sun set right out the back porch! Jodi was an amazing host and very quick with responding to our questions! Such a beautiful place to spend our family vacation!

Magical Oregon

First time to Oregon and we fell in love. The location on the estuary was magical for the kids. House was lovely and had that old fisherman house vibe. Updates were nice. Only issue we had was the floor hand been mopped in a long time. The 10 minute drive to Canon Beach was beautiful and we made it every day. We’ll be back to the OR coast.

Amazing View

Comfortable remodeled farmhouse feel with the walls, ceiling and floors covered with beautiful woodwork. Everything from the farm kitchen to the furnishings and decorations made this house a home. So many windows allowed a panoramic view of the river and ocean. Jodi was a great host who was available and super helpful. My son and I had a very relaxing long weekend.

Charming house with gorgeous estuary and ocean views. Very functional and well-supplied kitchen. Clean bathrooms and lots of towels, bedding. Cleaners could do a better job of vacuuming - some cobwebs and dead flies. Picked up some litter in front yard first day of stay.

Old school beach house vibes

We LOVED this place. The house is exactly how I would update my grandparents 1905 beach cottage if they'd had one. Not a fancy overhaul, but a simple functional update without erasing a century of beautifully rustic character. The location was outstanding. We spent many, many hours exploring the estuary at low tide and looking for routes all the way out to the ocean. We loved tracking various birds through the sand, looking for crabs and sand dollars, and watching spectacular sunsets from the back porch. And it's a quick drive into town for all the tourist-y bits, too.

Good location, and great fun watching the tidal estuary fill and empty daily. It was a bit muddy in the river bed, but there was always some sandy beach for a morning walk. The house is as described, a combo of funk and fun--well furnished, comfortable, good bed, and occasionally slanted floors upstairs. The best room in the house is the glass- enclosed porch that faces the estuary and ocean beyond it, fills with warmth and light in the evening. A perfect sunset place and light and bright in the morning for coffee. We enjoyed our time there. My partner was a bit put off by the slanty upstairs floors--in our 70s, it made the nighttime walk from bedroom to bathroom a bit more adventurous that he prefers. A very pleasant place and interesting location.
