The Location: we are located directly on RincĆ³n's top beach, Sandy Beach. From our seawall, it's a mere 8 steps down to the sand.

The Place: we spent the first eight months of 2017 performing a complete floor-to-ceiling remodel, adding an amazing hardwood beachside deck and outfitting the entire place with all new furnishings.

Note that Sandy Beach Paradise is a two-unit split-level property, this listing is for the one-bedroom Bottom Unit (see vrbo.com/4776196ha for the two-bedroom Top Unit). Amenities that are shared between guests of the two units are the beachside hardwood deck that sits atop our seawall, the outdoor shower, the stairs to/from the beach, the laundry facility, and much of the ocean/beach gear.

My husband and I both agree that this spot couldnā€™t have been more perfect. Sitting on the porch with the waves crashing, sunsets turning the whole sky pink, walking on the beach to the closest restaurant, the beach chairs & towels provided, everything was perfect. Neighborhood was great. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Very nice property, had everything we needed and then some. Very comfortable bed and loved the location. When we werenā€™t hanging on Sandy beach, we went to steps beach which is great for snorkeling. Loved our stay here. Thank you!

Outstanding

The place is beautifully, and well located, clean and super comfortable for 2 people. Beach front paradise. It is 2 restaurants and a bar with a mini maker and a Breakfast place.within walking distance .is another restaurant 4 min drive. Many other restaurants and supermarkets within 20 min drive ( not a long distance but the mountain roads make the drive longer) This place is private and secluded, perfect for a relaxing vacay. I would book it again and again.

Beachfront paradise

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this property. Just steps from Sandy Beach... literally! We love the area, beach is quiet. Many other beaches close by. House is so cute & tidy (bottom). We will stay here again! Highly recommend.

Perfect location

The place is exactly as pictured. The location is perfect not only for the beach access but for the proximity to bars and a cute market with friendly staff. The deck is amazing, we didnā€™t want to leave. There is some noise on weekends from the bar two doors down but nothing bad.

First I want to mention that the property is as listed other than the beach being smaller, we couldnā€™t actually use the beach because the surf was too rough and the water rushed over the entire beach area. We did contact the emergency contact without a response or a call back. We had trouble retrieving the unit key. A ceiling fan in the bedroom would be nice because the a/c didnā€™t seem to cool the unit. The beach chairs were the small ones, we didnā€™t take to the beaches we tried out because you couldnā€™t recline in them and the sun umbrella was busted apart inside. On Saturday night a live band played at the Kahuna right up the road until 2am and it literally was the worst music I ever heard, even ear plugs didnā€™t work! This is an outdoor venue so music travels. Because of the rough water it made us tour the island and we found some really nice spots, the sunset at the beach house was beautiful and the people are so friendly.

Great location

Best location. Right on the beach. Coffee shop down the block. 3 restaurants right in the area. Couldnā€™t ask for a better area. The place was clean and if we had any questions they were answered right away.

Perfect Location in Rincon

What a great location on Sandy Beach! Literally just steps from the beach! We were in the bottom unit & it was perfect. The view from anywhere on this property was breathtaking! Lots of wildlife & huge iguanas. The home had everything we needed. Very short walk to the coffee shop, restaurants & the best burritos in town at Jack's Shack!! Thank you for an amazing stay! We look forward to returning in the future!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. We found that it was advertised very accurately on VRBO. It was clean and functional. The indoor space is sufficient. And the outside shared space is beautiful and ample enough to share between the two properties. The beautiful views and relaxing environment found in the outside living is the best part of the property for sure. We were a little surprised and disappointed with the proximity to shops/restaurants. While it was convenient to walk just a few steps to find food/coffee/etc, the very loud live music played outdoors most nights felt like it was coming from the driveway of the property. If you are wanting fun nights at a bar with live music and lively people, you have found your perfect place to stay! Although the musicians were very good, we prefer early to bed and early to rise with the back door open to hear the ocean. Live music and DJ music played until midnight several nights of our week long stay. It is just a matter of preference and we may have picked a different location had we known about the proximity of the property to night life. Be sure to rent a car as getting around the island is a daily necessity. Watch for potholes and dogs/cats and a lack of traffic signs. Close to the property and worth a visit are: Jack's Shack, CafƩ 2 go, Red Flamboyan, Sliders. The beach at the property is best for surfers. For a calmer swimming beach, visit Crash Boat Beach. And the bioluminescent bay at La Pargara is amazing. We also hired a local bird guide for a day who took us around the island and showed us 40+ species of birds. What a great week. PR is open for business, folks. Venga!

Perfect birthday getaway

If you love being steps away from the beach, you will LOVE it here. I had the best time here doing nothing but waking up and sipping on my coffee looking at the beautiful views. Amazing space!

Literally ON the beach! So clean and very well maintained. Very close (walkable) to restaurants and bars. PARADISE! We did not want to leave! We had a very small issue with the gate that leads to the beach. It was hard to operate and needed to be oiled. The propertyā€™s caretaker responded immediately. Very pleased with this rental! We will return!

Beautiful!

My boyfriend and I came here for a relaxing vacation and it was amazing! The apartment is beautiful! We spent most of our vacation lounging out on the deck. Thereā€™s nothing like drinking coffee out on the deck listening to the ocean waves! In the evening, the lights on the deck were perfect lighting for a romantic dinner! It was perfection! The best spot on the island

We lived it here. The owners were awesome. The place was exactly as pictures looked. The beach was great. We had rainy afternoons but that didn't damper our stay at all. We will 100% be back! Truly our best Puerto Rico trip, yet.

This house looks just like the pictures. It was so nice to have the beach just steps away from the door. Shawn left detailed instructions about the house and he was also very responsive. Everything was very well thought out. I would love to book again next time we visit Rincon.

My new favorite place on Sandy Beach

Perfect spot on sandy beach! Close but not too close to Tamboo and Casa Verde, right on the beach, and loaded with everything you need for a week in the sun! This property really has it all, deck over looking the beach, decorated nicely with all of the accommodations, gated parking for the busy nights, and most of all Shawn (the owner) has done a great job of communicating every detail. There is even a book on the counter just in the door that spells out everything you might want to know! Great place! My wife and I will be staying here from now on!
