Casa Del Mar Beachfront House on quiet beach, surf out front, tidepools for kids

Fully furnished beachfront home on the 2nd floor located on a private gated family lot at the end of a dead end. The two bedrooms include king beds, ceiling fans and A/C. Enjoy relaxing in the hammocks on the front patio with palm trees and ocean breeze. You might be lucky enough to see a whale, dolphin or manatee. Or enjoy using the BBQ on the back patio (gas or charcoal) complete with outdoor dining table. The full kitchen is fully stocked to make all of your meals at home or you can walk to the local bakery or restaurants. Feel free to use the outdoor shower after visiting the tidepools or undeveloped mile long beach where you can fish, snorkel, swim, surf. We have boogieboards, surfboards, kayaks, SUP's and beach gear available for use. This house is centrally located on the west side of the island so it's easy to take daytrips north, south or central to explore caves, waterfalls, lighthouses. Downstairs is a separate apartment and we respect their privacy and desire for little to no noise as they will do the same in return.

Do nothing to disturb the neighbors. No loud music, loud arguments or shouting. No barking dogs. Quiet for neighborhood after 10 pm.
No sand should be brought into the house or showers. There is an outdoor shower(with door, shampoo) and hose for washing off beach toys.
Leave everything as you find it. The house is for your enjoyment but leave everything clean and orderly. That includes the grill and coffee maker.

The experience with Bryan was outstanding from start to finish. We had very few questions, but Bryan was reachable at all times. The place was beautiful and exactly as described in the listing. Bryan gave us recommendations for local restaurants, surfing tips, and clear instructions. We would be thrilled to come back.

We loved this house. Right on the beach, we had the constant sound of waves and the chattering of birds outside. The house and kitchen were fully stocked. Having a washer and dryer was so helpful. It was a really comfortable house and we truly could have stayed there forever. Helpful and friendly hosts. Would absolutely return, thank you!

We can’t wait to come back to Casa Del Mar! The ocean view is beautiful and the beach was just steps away. You can hear the waves crashing from the bedrooms If you’re looking for the Ritz Carlton this probably isn’t the place for you, but if you’re looking for a well loved apartment with all the amenities you need, then don’t hesitate to stay here. Our host Bryan went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, and he offered several suggestions on things to do and see. We can’t wait to come back so that we can stay longer. The apartment below was also nice. Would be a perfect place for a larger family or multiple couples traveling together.

Amazing!

We loved our stay at Casa Del Mar! Clean, super comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. The beach was amazing and we often had it to ourselves. Since we were there I'm the July heat, we were grateful for the AC. Highly recommend! Perfect accommodations for our family vacation.

What a place!

I can't imagine too many properties with access to a beach like this at this price point. The home itself isn't anything fancy but it's quaint, got multiple balconies, and was the perfect place to crash every night. Three minute drive to most amenities, far enough to forget they exist. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect beach location

The house was perfect for our family to enjoy the beach and explore the West side of Puerto Rico. After a long travel day, we appreciated Bryan's assistance helping us find the house in the dark. On our first day, Bryan found us floundering on the beach, and helped us learn the basics of surfing. We also enjoyed exploring Survivor Beach and hiking up to the falls at Charco El Pilon.

Great location

Wonderful location. Rincon is very charming. The beach in-front of the rental is wonderful for sunsets and morning coffee. Great to have washer and dryer on site. Drip coffee maker. Fully stocked kitchen. Friendly neighbors. Do bring ear plugs, the chickens are a reliable alarm clock. Host is very responsive.

Amazing View and Hospitality

This was our third time staying at Casa Del Mar with host Brian. We plan to continue coming back as we feel this has become like a home away from from home. The view is spectacular and being able to walk right onto the beach is amazing. Brian is very knowledgeable about the area and is readily available for any questions. Highly recommend!

Location is everything!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Bryan is a very attentive host, willing to share his knowledge and experience. If we had an issue, he addressed it promptly (a propane tank needed to be swapped out). He shared many recommendations for our stay that were very helpful. The location is ideal: off the beaten path and offers everything you need to spend a low-key seaside vacation, but still close to so many things to do and see if you choose. We dined at Guayabo’s Sea Breeze, Tamboo, The Beach House, and La Fiebre—all had great vibes, great views, and great food and cocktails. We spent time on the beach in front of the rental collecting beach glass and shells and just enjoying the sights and sounds of the ocean from the patio hammock. We visited Rincón, Cascada Gozalandia, and Boqueron. We enjoyed marvelous massages at an open air facility. Eugene—the neighboring farmer—brought us fresh coconuts a couple times during our stay. We enjoyed talking to him and there’s nothing better than fresh coconut water. We found beautiful art to bring home and enjoy as a memento of our trip. We didn’t want to leave! If you want to feel like a local in a rural and somewhat rustic environment on the ocean shore, this is the place.

A slice of paradise

We are returning visitors to this house and it is a perfect set up for me and my family (kids 5 and 8). The neighborhood is friendly and peaceful, the beach is expansive with endless opportunities for explaining, and Bryan is a wonderful and helpful host. We have been impressed by some of the upgrades over the years, too! We plan to return.

Great quiet ocean access

Great location for a quiet beach experience. We took several long walks in both directions and had fun collecting shells and sea glass. The property and beach area seem clean and safe. Easy driving distance to Rincon and Aguada, which both have some excellent restaurants. It's possible to take a longer walk up the beach to some of the beach-side restaurants in Aguada. Only downside was the neighbor's roosters. If you want to sleep in, I would recommend bringing ear plugs or using the provided white noise machines.

Stay at aguada

Nice quiet location away from Rincon and aguadilla. Great view and beach, although the surf was very big that week so no swimming. Within 15 minutes to Rincon surf breaks. Bryan was accommodating and cordial. Upstairs apartment is a bit rustic but clean.

Escape to Paradise

Our long-awaited vacation with my husband was absolutely amazing and perfect. Bryan gave us such a warm welcome that we instantly felt at home. The terrace with the ocean view and hammocks completely stole my heart, it was a pure relaxation! The house was so cozy, so we hardly wanted to leave. The area is quiet and safe, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. With a car, everything is conveniently close. I highly recommend this place and I hope we will visit it again!

Oceanfront paradise

I needed a getaway for myself and wanted to not be in the touristy area. This was just the place. Right off the main roads near restaurants and markets. I enjoyed sitting daily on the porch facing the ocean and talking to nature and the animals. It gave me the rejuvenation I needed for a week.

Being on an Undeveloped Beach, this is the Perfect Vacation Home, for sunrise and sunset walks, Day Hikes to nearby resturants, dive spots, and private pocket beaches. Surfing out front. A reef offshore with lobsters and fish.

WithIn a gated family farm. Retired Police Captain is nearby neighbor. The family is well known and respected. No one messes with this property. Very safe.
