Unique and Cozy Cottage in Sarnia with a private Beach on Lake Huron

Lake front cottage with amazing sandy private beach. This renovated original cottage is one of a kind! A perfect get away that is still in town. This is an adults only property. This home is fully equipped with everything you should need to have an enjoyable stay. The cottage has many comfy spaces to enjoy inside and out. Two bedrooms, one on the main floor with the sound of waves crashing and one downstairs in the bomb shelter for those who like a quiet sleep. A fully equipped eat in kitchen. There is a south side covered patio and bbq for outside meals. A bright and breezy work space, a laid back reading spot, it has it all! There is a storage space for bikes or any sporting equipment you may have. There are many different levels to the cottage and property so those who are not good with stairs this may not be the place for you. This original cottage has been renovated but still has an issue with water pressure, you cant do laundry and shower at the same time. However the water pressure is amazing when you dive into the lake. The a/c is not central air, we have window units and fans for blazing hot days but windows open with the lake breeze is the best way to enjoy the peaceful sounds of the waves. There are kayaks a paddleboard, floats and other beach items and games that you are free to use. The cottage is walking distance to a great grocery store, liquor store, bank, barber, MnM meats for your convenience.
We are located 10 minutes from the Bluewater Bridge to Michigan and downtown Sarnia. Within a 5 minute walk there is an LCBO, MnM Meats, Sunripe grocery store, variety store, bank and restaurant. The Howard Watson bike trails are close by and go for miles.

This reservation has a Super Flexible cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 14 day prior to the check in date.
A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 14 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 7 to 13 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 7 days prior to check-in. CanadaStays Booking Fees are refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of placing your booking request.
HOUSE RULES
Primary renter must be 25 or older, no smoking, no parties or events, no pets.
CHECK IN 3PM , CHECK OUT 11AM
- The cottage is strictly NO SMOKING, outside is fine. Please do not leave cigarette butts on the lawn or beach, there are several spots to dispose of them.
- NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY AT ANY TIME at the beach. Guests agree to assume all risk and liability associated with the use of the beach. NEVER leave minors unattended.
- Only those listed on the reservation confirmation may stay.
- Please stay in designated right side of the driveway as the owner or other guests use the left side.
- Anything damaged or not working please let me know as soon as possible.
- Please keep cottage locked when you are at the beach. Do not leave any valuables on the beach unattended. This is a private beach but it is close to the public access and anyone has the right to walk the beach. Owner will not be liable for lost or missing items.
- Guests must bring in floats from the water and move chairs away from the shoreline at night. A calm day can change quickly, anything left too close to the waters edge will be gone.
- Guests understand that the cottage is 1 of 2 residences on this property and the beach is shared. The main residence is occupied by the owner.
- Quiet hours are 10pm til 8am. Remember sound carries very well over water.
- Trash bags may not be left outside as there are many critters around. Please put all trash bags in the blue bin at the end of the driveway. Recycles need to be in the blue boxes provided.
- Small beach fires are allowed weather and wind permitting. Guests must not leave fire unattended. Be mindful of smoke as everyone loves to have the windows open to listen to the lake.
- No offensive music or language at any time.
- By booking this property you acknowledge that you have read and agree to abide by all rules and requests of the owner.
- Owner has the right to revoke tenancy at any time without refund for guests that do not respect the rules.
