Come visit Sandpoint, Idaho - voted most beautiful small town by USA Today and Rand McNally. Enjoy our airy and bright apartment that has been remodeled. It has all new appliances and furniture. If you are looking for a Licensed and clean place to stay you've come to the right spot.

We are five blocks from downtown Sandpoint and just a half a block from a wonderful bike/walking path that can take you to explore downtown Sandpoint or Dover.

Our location is great as its a short walk to the City Beach, Sandpoint Marina, great local restaurants, live music, wine bars, and shopping including Coldwater Creek. You may also be interested in outdoor gear shops, and lots of gift and antiques shops. Rental shops for bikes, jet skies and boats are also available within walking distance.

In the summer months beginning in May, enjoy Sandpoint's farmer's market at Farmin Park next to the Jeff Jones Town Square. There you can enjoy live music, local produce and crafts. And lets not forget other summertime favorites in Sandpoint, including Lost in the 50's car show (3rd weekend of May), a hometown 4th of July celebration including parades and variety show at the city beach. The Pend Oreille Arts council hosts the annual Arts and Craft Show in August. You'll also want to check out the music line-up for the Festival at Sandpoint that takes place on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille in August.

Even though most everything in Sandpoint is in within walking distance, Sandpoint has a local bus. There's a stop only about a block away from our apartment, and you can ride the SPOT (Selkirks-Pend Oreille Transit)bus to the Schweitzer base for a ride to the village, stores in Ponderay, and anywhere else you'd want to go around the Sandpoint area.

Absolutely incredible place to stay. I’m a nursing student doing clinicals in the area and it was everything I needed down to location. They provided everything I could have needed, such a close proximity to downtown and a park for my one day off. Will be booking again.

We enjoyed a very nice stay the the Mountain Gem. It was very clean and the unit was just as advertised. The kitchen was stocked with everything one could need and the welcome snacks were a lovely touch!

Nice stay

Excellent place! Clean! Great woodwork! Close to all the fun things that Sandpoint has to offer. Our host was great told us about all the different things to do in the area.

Perfect for what we Needed

This is a fantastic property! Super clean, great location, and propery owners were AMAZING! We arrived very late and Elaine had treats for us in the refrigerator, and made accessing it very easy. We were close enough to walk to the beach and 4th of July activities, but is was far enough that the all night parties never bothered us. The water pressure in the shower was wonderful, the furniture was super comfortable, and appliances all work great. I will be recommending this property to family as we all come up to vist my aunt and uncle, but they don't have room in their house. We LOVED this place, and the owners are outstanding. Thank you Dan and Elaine. We will be back.

Apartment is very nice but location isn't ideal

This property is very well kept. Excellent interior with comfortable beds and all the needed items for cooking. I only can give this vacation rental a three star because of the location. It is situated in a industrial zone of Sandpoint. Windows face directly out looking at the side of an electricians shop only 20 feet away. The location is also to far to feel like walking to main street at least in winter.

We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the interior of our property. We do our very best to have a clean and inviting property for all of our visitors. In regards to our location, we haven't had any guests be unsatisfied with the distance to "main" street. Pine and 1st Ave would be our "main street" which is about 4-5 blocks. I can imagine on a cold day that might have been a far walk. And lastly, our property is not in a "neighborhood" but we don't market it as such. Its very quiet and most of our guests to appreciate the location.

The location is great! It’s a ten minute walk to coffee and a couple minute drive to Safeway for any groceries you might need. Downtown is only 5 minutes away, which is why the property was so nice and quiet. Yes, you are on the boarder of residential and industrial areas, but that was very nice as there were no loud cars or neighbors - just the fire dept down the street, but that was cool! You share the building with an insurance company, so be mindful of your noise, but they won’t bother you at all, and you get your own parking. We felt very safe the entire time. We had all of the amenities needed for us to stay and cook for 5 days. The apartment is so cozy! We loved the provided board games and the comfy couch. Everything was clean and organized. The amenities and appliances were great. We appreciated the thoughtfulness and care put into the home. Our time in Idaho was quite rainy, so we really enjoyed the respite the apt provided :)

Loved it. Great for the two of us.

This was the cleanest VRBO I have seen. I had one question and owner immediately responded and was super helpful. It was a little hidden gem. The neighboring business was not even an issue. This will be our first choice for going back next year. Located close to downtown activities but far enough away that traffic noise was no issue. TV was great quality. Bright and sunny area with nice little lawn to lounge on. Happy that we had a week there.

Great, quiet getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was perfect for the two of us. The kitchen was more than well stocked. It was very clean and organized with plenty of dishes, glasses, coffee mugs, silverware and anything you need. The bed was comfortable with plenty of extra pillows and blankets if needed. Even though it is near Highway 2, it was very quiet. Love this place and will definitely look to stay again.

Back for a second stay.

This truly is a Mountain Gem. We have been so impressed with how nice and immacute the property is. Elaine has been wonderful during both of our stays. This is a great location, close to downtown and the bike trail. The property is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood and the property is equipped with everything you could need. We will be back again for future visits.

Clean and updated place to stay close to town

The property was recently updated with some beautiful wood fixtures. It was perfect for the two of us. Although it was in a business location, it was surprisingly quiet. Highly recommend when visiting Sandpoint for a short stay.

Perfect vacation spot

Mountain Gem describes this location perfectly. What a wonderful location to use during our stay. It was spotless, well stocked and supplied. It was larger than we expected. The bed was very comfortable. The living room and kitchen were set up perfectly. The bathroom was large and well lit. There is an outdoor seating area we used in the evening to visit and read. Parking is ample and the area is very quiet. There are eating and shopping locations nearby. Sandpoint is a wonderful friendly small town. When we visit again this will be our first choice.
