Orlando theme parks approx. 1 1/2 hours away, Cape Canaveral approx. 1 1/4hrs away, and Daytona Speedway about 25 minutes away; you're close to so many Florida attractions.

If you want a change from the direct beach access in front of Sunrise, a quick drive South on the inlet is Mary McLeod Bethune Beach Park. A great opportunity to do some bike riding, walk along the shore, and do some dolphin and manatee-watching.
