We enjoyed the location, dock, porch and home, but were disappointed by the maintenance, cleanliness and lack of response from management. The listed grill was unusable—rusted, caked with residue and missing knobs. I asked beforehand to confirm it and was ignored. Fire ants/hills covered the front/back yards, driveway, carport and dock; I was bitten 5 times. The “screened-in porch” had rips/holes, and the cracked/broken swing under the house is a safety concern. Both doors stick badly; opening/closing them was a nightmare and hurt my hands. The kitchen/common areas were dirty; we found old food, dirt and debris under/behind things and the oven. Only K-Cups worked because the other side of the coffee maker was broken. I contacted Inlet Shores about the coffee maker, grill and trash, but only got a trash response. The trash/recycling already had leftover food/trash, and the recycling had maggots when we arrived. The carpets need deep cleaning. Several twin beds had no linens despite linens being provided. Dirty linens sat in tubs on the porch all week despite management being told. We left ours there too and hope they were collected before the next guests. All mattresses were extremely hard; I woke sore and slept poorly. We loved the location, dock and porch, but the property needs cleaning, pest control and maintenance. These issues should be disclosed and the rate adjusted. I hope the owners know the current condition, as it’s unclear whether management reports these problems
