This pet-friendly, 1 bedroom + loft, 1 bathroom condo is a great value sleeping up to 8 people. It is centrally located close to the lakes in Mammoth. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, just like home. The living area features a flat screen TV with DVD player and premium HBO channels, wood-burning fireplace, and free WiFi.

The master bedroom has a queen bed with en-suite vanity and shared hall bathroom. The loft features a perfect space for singles or kids with 4 twin beds. The living room also has a sleeper sofa for extra guests. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more.

This condo sleeps a maximum of 8 people, comes with two outdoor parking spaces, has 2 levels inside, and no smoking is permitted. Guests will be provided two parking passes. If more parking is required than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for alternative options. This condo is pet-friendly and approved for one pet only, any additional pets must first be approved prior to booking the condo. Our calendar is updated in real time. Great condo and management!

The communication and timely responses by Mammoth mountain reservations was outstanding. We mistakenly got locked out and someone came to let us in within 5-10 minutes.The unit was perfect for our family. Clean, updated and close to the mountain.

It has some issues, finicky back door that wouldnā€™t close, squeaky beds, etc, but it had what we needed to enjoy a weekend in Mammoth.

The entire carpet was stained throughout and disgusting. Two of the stove burners did not work. The bathroom vanity light could not be used based on a huge high pitched noise - same with the bathroom fan. Knobs were broken or missing. The place is worn out and should not be rented out and the pictures are deceiving. Management should not have placed this unit on the renral market.

Great property management but very dirty place

The place is unclean. Carpet is very dirty and pet hair all over the couch. Dishwasher was not working but property management is friendly and very quick to respond in getting a repair man to come out even though he couldn't repair it at that moment.

The refrigerator was not properly cooling, and when we arrived we noticed that the door would not completely shut (seems like the magnet on the door was worn out. Some of the knobs in the kitchen would come off the cabinets. There was a booger on the comforter in the queen bedroom. I was given the wrong keys when checking in so I had to wait about an 45 minutes to be brought the correct keys. Considering these issues I shouldā€™ve been more dissatisfied, but the mountain doesnā€™t let me feel down.

Missing amenities / inconvenient check in-out

The place is older, but itā€™s cozy and has personality. Great location. I would give it a higher review had the following occurrences not happened: - Sauna and jacuzzi were not open (the entire recreational area has been closed since late March due to a structural issue, and I only found this out in person, upon arriving, thanks to a sign on the door of the closed facility). No one informed me of this at any point prior to booking, so I almost felt tricked. Had I known that these amenities were not working for over 1 month, I would not have stayed here. - the whole check-in / check-out system is inconvenient. You must retrieve keys at an office (about 7-8min drive from the place) before checking in and return keys to the same office at check out. Check out is at 10am, so if youā€™re planning on hitting the slopes in the morning, make sure you set aside some time to drop off the keys before check out at 10am. I wanted to stay at this place so I could be very close to canyon lodge (to get up in the am and hit the slopes), but my plan was derailed by the fact that I had to take 20 min from my am to drop off the keys.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Way too expensive for what you get! The place needs a complete update, carpet & couches are disgusting, beds were fine. When we arrived we noticed that the power cord to the main TV was missing, called maintenance they never called or came by the next morning like they said, so we called again Jake the day maintenance guy came by took a look was going to see if he could find a cord or spare TV with the company, no luck so he was kind enough to bring HIS own guest room TV, and left another message for Management Co to call me & they have not to this day!! The only saving grace to this place was the fireplace & Jake!! With new paint, new carpet & minor updating this place could be much much nicer!! Do not waste your money spend a bit more this place is a dump!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 6 of us stayed at Discovery 4 #104. We arrived late (1AM) and parking was scarce but luckily we found ONE spot still open in the parking lot. We had no issues with parking the next day though after hitting the slopes.It is "walkable" if you look at Google Maps, but the road in between the walkable path is actually snow'ed out so we ended up driving to the lodge which was a short drive. One thing is that when we arrived, 3 of our group had arrived earlier (11pm) and started the heater immediately when they arrived. However, all of us who were sleeping in the 4 twin beds upstairs woke up freezing throughout the night. We could hear each other shivering. I slept in fetal position and couldn't roll over because I didn't want to lose the space on the bed that my body had warmed up. For the next night, we found extra blankets and comforters. By the next night and when we arrived back at the cabin after snowboarding all day, the cabin had warmed up. The 2nd day in the cabin was much better and warmer, I think I even woke up too hot in the morning. We stayed in the 2nd night and watched movies on the TV. There was tons of space in the living room for us all to hang out and not feel crammed even with the snow gear in the entryway and some board bags in the living room. Two of the guests made a full on dinner using the kitchen too! I like that the bar counter was there so there was always interaction between everyone in kitchen and living room.Check in and checkout was easy, thankfully Mammoth Sierra has a late check in option because we always arrive late on Fridays whenever we visit. FYI, Even if you don't have a pet staying with you, you will still have a pet fee.

The condo is perfect for cost effective stay. The condo is clean, comfortable and worked for us overall. My recommendation for anyone renting this condo in the future is to bring your own skillet, cutting board and any other cooking utensils or supplies. I do cook and having only one skillet made it a challenge, however I made due with what we had available. But, I do recommend others take this into consideration and come prepared. Overall, our stay was great and our teenagers enjoyed the jacuzzi and club house. No major complaints.
